Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Aweful. Small buffet amounts amd some were dried out. No wonder it's so cheap. Also they are liars. I asked if MSG was in the food and they said no. So much MSG in the food the roof of my mouth and my little cousin's mouth was NUMB. A Black family came in for lunch and the greeter looked upset. Never going back. What a dump in such a cute town.

This is our usual go to place for local takeout Chinese food. Food is usually hot and well prepared, but tonight it was anything but. Wrong order, bland tasting food, not hot, rubbery General Tso's, ...should have left the food there. We wondered if someone else has taken over the restaurant. We won't be going back for a while!!!

Great service and price for the food is very reasonable. Buffet has Chinese food and sushi choice.

Extended family of 11, visiting from out of town...we give an average rating of 2 stars. We got take out... Beef n broccoli, tofu n veg, gen tso, chik n veg, lo mein, and egg rolls. The vegetables and lo mein were decent, but the meats and sauces were sub-par. My brother thinks the oil they cook with has gone bad. I would not revisit for take out.

Stopped here an hour before closing one night (the buffet was not open) and did not have a good experience. When my friend's order of sweet and sour chicken came out and it was just a plateful of deep fat fried balls I was apprehensive. When my order of pepper chicken came out my fears were confirmed, it was a huge mound of deep fat fired something and a few pieces of green pepper drizzled with a sauce sweet enough to be syrup. I finished my meal out of a sense of duty and ended up with that slightly upset stomach I get after I eat way to much deep fat fried crap. If you like food that tastes like something other than grease or like your arteries unclogged, try some place else.

take out pretty decent. Did not do the buffet but was in area and had a hankering for chinese, surrpise surprise, so stopped in for some take out. Friendly service, good takeout and CA roll as good as any.

Small and clean. Food is good. Typical Chinese buffet food. And they have an assortment of pretty good sushi - more than I would usually see at a buffet. They offer sauces on the side for the sushi. Nice touch. In addition to the typical dessert bar there are 4 flavors of hand dip ice cream. If you like Chinese buffets, add this one to your list.

We had the bbq spare ribs which were good, the crab rangoon which had no filling and the breading was chewy plus we didn't get a sauce with the rangoons, the four seasons was good, the general tso's breading was chewy. We also got the mixed egg drop wonton soup, there was too much wonton and not enough filling. We asked for two fried rices instead of the white rice and only got one "fried rice" which looked and tasted more like yellow rice with some veggies in it. We gave it two stars for the ribs and the four seasons. Make sure you check your bag before leaving (we did however we didn't check both rice boxes) if you decide to get your Chinese from here.

This place is horrible. So we went in and it was dark and spooky. I saw the owners kids running around putting forks and spoons in their mouth. Also half the trays were empty. The lady also said the food was from last nights dinner. Wow so they were just sitting there for a night! One and the only upside is the drinks. They have almost any drink you can ask for. This place was horrible and we didn't even eat after we ordered the drinks we just looked around at the trays and said no and left the place. I don't suggest this place to anyone.

Food is ok but I have trouble getting past the windows. They look like they haven't been cleaned in years. They need to clean the windows or use a better cleaner. I went there when it first opened but now I can't make it past those darn dirty grimy windows!! The buffet is a little pricey for the quality of food too.

The food was very tasty. It was hot and quickly replenished when empty. A pretty substantial variety. I went with my wife and kids2&4. 2 year old was free and 4 year old was only $4.99. Great prices. Good food. Good service. Not a lot of seating.

Excellent for take out sushi.

It's a small buffet, but food is very good, staff is very friendly, and there's always seating (but never empty). I've been at the buffet about 12 times in the past few years. Yep, you'll find small amounts of food in the trays. BUT, I like it that way. The food is definitely more 'fresh'. The General Tso's is still crispy-- unlike other buffets in the area where it's all soggy, having sat in a pool for a few hours. The food is constantly refilled in small amounts. I like it. The texture is almost as important as the taste. Staff is very helpful-- never 'hovering' around like other buffets, but also responsive if they notice your glass reaches the halfway point. The dessert section is somewhat lacking. It's 'hit or miss'. Sometimes a larger variety, sometimes less. It is 1/2 fruit (if you like it), and the ice cream is a 'scoopable' kind-- 4 flavors. They have the typical Buy X dinners, get 1 free cards. A sidenote: They sell the 'Lucky Bamboo' plants at the front of the restaurant, and I was able to 'haggle/bargain' down to a good price. I was looking for one, and it was well taken care of.

Stop by for dinner tonight. Food seem to be sitting there for a while. We sat down and stayed. I had a little bit of everything wasn't the greatest but for the price what can you really ask for . Unfortunately my husband is now in the rest room and seems sick from eating the food.

Ate here only once with my kids bc our fave Chinese buffet was closed and I regret it. Poor selection, some was cold, service was bad and it was $11 per person for that, didn't even ask about kids ages. I could have went to one with a huge selection in Harrisburg for maybe a dollar more. That's what I get for wanting to try different things. I give it an extra star (2 instead of 1) bc the general tso's was decent and they had hand scooped Hershey ice cream.

"It fills the stomach," my husband said. He's right. We came In late on a non-busy Tuesday evening, so the food are in a sad state. At least, they added new noodles when we came in. It's $10 for the buffet and we don't want to eat American greasy fastfood, so this is not a bad break. I had clams noddles and sushi...

If I am not in the Asian Buffet at least once every 7 to 10 days something is wrong. My neighbor and I usually go there at least this frequently for a "girls lunch out". The #1 reason for this is LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. It is only about 3.5 mins. from our houses. #2 reason for patronizing this establishment is cleanliness and pleasant service from the wait staff. The waitresses always remember our beverage orders. The restaurant always appears to be clean and the clientele are your average school bus driver, army reserve members and young couples. The buffet features the average asian fare of dishes, soups and veggies. My only wish would be that they would mix it up a bit in terms of the offerings on the buffet. Once in a while I would like to see something different offered. To me this would be a good idea to keep the regulars interested. The lunch buffet served from 11am to 3pm is now $6.25 pp. Sushi is available but you wouldn't catch me anywhere near that stuff but that is just a personal aversion. Kids under 3yrs. eat free but let's face it they don't eat much anyway. To encourage people to order "off the menu" instead of the buffet, I would like to see the chef perhaps circulate in the dining room with samples of a new dish for patrons to try but what do I know about running a restaurant. Also, the menu I took today has numerous glaring English errors on it which I blame totally on the printer who produced it.

The best Chinese Buffet!!!!! The Buffet only open for weekends but it is best buffet around. Not a large buffet but the food that is on the buffet is excellent....food doesn't sit there for hours.... The staff is friendly and very helpful. If you want a good Chinese buffet or even non-buffet this is the place to go. Try it!!!

I've tried many of the buffets in the area and this place has to have some of the most friendly staff I've ever come across. Of course, having friendly staff is not enough for a buffet. I come here often and have to say that the food is ALWAYS fresh. The staff is constantly changing food at the buffet stations out for fresh batches from the kitchen. Don't expect a huge restaurant when you get there... this place is more of a local secret/gem than a tourist attraction.

This is a typical chinese buffet with the typical buffet fare. The only other one that I've tried in the area is Old China Buffet on Main St. and I definitely think Asia Buffet is better! They've always had sushi available whenever I go there (been there over 5 times as I live nearby). Although their food is typical, I'm giving it 4 stars because: (1) their location is convenient for me, (2) staff is friendly, (3) food is better than the other buffet near the area, (4) they have take-out that they sell by the pound, and (5) IT'S CHEAP! It's just $5.99 for lunch and $6.99 for dinner.

I REALL don't like giving bad reviews, but this one can't be helped! When we first moved to this area, the Asian Buffet was a great find! The food was fresh, the service was great, and the prices were right. Over time, they have gone downhill! They changed management a while back, and apparently they've changed chefs as well. The food is now greasy and poorly seasoned. The service at the carry out counter is friendly, but the girls working the buffet are frequently and unnecessarily snarky. The other day, my husband walked out because they hadn't started fixing his carry out order 20 minutes after he'd ordered it, and the restaurant was empty. I much prefer Silver Sea on Main Street in Hummelstown. Their food is much better, and so is their service.

My friends and I (big group) had dinner here on Saturday. The staff seemed nice but the selection of food was very small. Maybe of quarter of what you would find in a regular buffet (at least in NYC). On top of that, what turned us off was the fact that there was hardly any food in the trays. If you're looking for a quick cheap bite, then this maybe for you.

update: ive been back twice since my initial review, im moving it to up 3 stars. We found a coupon in the Clipper Magazine for a dollar off our buffet, so we decided to try it. I came here once before last march and didnt really like it. Today really confirmed that. The food was alright, they have basically anything else a small buffet would have. Soup, salad, deserts, it had sushi advertised in neon in the window, but there wasnt any there when we arrived. so we jsut asked and they made it up right away. they had 3 tables worth of food, it wasnt too too busy there. they had a hand written sign on the register that said "5.00 dollar minimum with credit or debit card." they were pretty nice and fast bringing us water and seating us. the cost was 5.99 for the lunch buffet.
