Came here three times now and thought I should tell it. I came here twice for lunch and had a burger, sandwich and wings; all of which was down right amazing. My last visit I came for dinner and had the sizzling duo. The steaks were good but the mash potatoes were the bomb! So good to the point I asked for an order of that to go. All three times I had the main server Ashley and she was a delight. Made sure I was well taken care of. When I came for dinner there was a gentleman on the salad bar and he was very welcoming when I went up there. This place is a great spot and will always come here when I come to visit my family members.

Great food, great service, great country feel to it! They have a big menu and a fantastic salad bar with soup. Theres something for everyone and they even have a candy station with all kinds of candy. I would not think twice about going anywhere else if I were in the area!

Ok. Listen. I am all for family owed restaurants but when you have your daughter as the server and she clearly doesn't want to be there, it's a problem! Let's set the picture! Monday early evening. 4:30pm We walk in the restaurant to be greeted by an ass bent over telling us to take a seat anywhere. Ok , I realize this is small town Pa but come on. Do you want people to be in your house or your restaurant? As i think the waitress is the young daughter ( late teens) of the other woman who is sitting at a table on a business call while there is a young boy about 3 sitting at another table ajacent to her watching something on a device. AnywaY, so we are the only people in the place and waitress/ daughter comes to the the table and doesn't say hi or anything just "what do u want yo drink?" We tell her and within minutes she places 2 beers unopened and no glasses and just walks away. So , personally, I really thought it was funny cause I could imagine my niece. But seriously, this is a business. So she comes over and asks if we are ready to order. I begin to order and as I say the appetizer, she turns and walks away!!! Seriously! ! I wanted to order everything and she just walked away!!! We were just laughing cause I can tell she is the daughter and does not want to be there . Well, she should not be a server. I hope she goes to college or something cause the whole service experience was not there. Never cleaning plates or removing the beer bottles that we drank. ( we had 2 orders ) listen, I get it. Daughter doesn't want to be at work. Well, that's why I only gave her $6 on a $44 check. But seriously, if you want your business to be successful, get off the phone and know your daughter really doesn't want to be there.. OMG, I forgot the best part. So she then walked over to us eating a burger asking if we wanted our check!!! Earing food and serving! !!

Went with my son, his wife and 3 Grandkids. Very friendly service. Everyone's chicken wrapped lacked flavor and a decent amount of chicken. No mayo or dressing whatsoever on them even though menu specified them. Salad bar was. Tuna was good, but seriously, CANNED chicken noodle soup!! That's a cop out. You should have pasted the Campbell's logo on the kettle. How hard is it to make homemade chicken noodle soup? My 8 year old grand daughter could make it. A very unique ice cream machine was there but the cones were stale and semi-chewy. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous.

We still enjoy the salad bar and burgers, but agree with those who have criticized the service. The last few times we've gone, the same young woman "served" us with a cool, bored, perfunctory attitude...and I do mean attitude. On the other hand, the salad bar is meticulously maintained and the burgers are fat and juicy, with a cover-all-bases toppings bar. So, until any further any larger offenses arise, we'll still be patronizing Pennsyltucky, but wishing they'd consider a new wait person, or helping the regular waitress rethink her service approach.

First of all, if you have a gyro on your menu, your staff should know how to pronounce it. While the gyro was pretty good (could have used more spice), the first impression was not great. We walked in past a vacant hostess station, into an area where the first table in the door had a hostess?? sitting at it applying make up. We asked if we just seat ourselves, or wait and she jumped up, ran towards the back of the restaurant behind a wall, scurried back to us, grabbed menus, mumbled something about someone being busy and said she'd seat us. There were styrofoam cups with straws all over this table and other nonsense. A little girl, who seemed to be the owners' daughter was running around, spinning, flinging her long hair, and had the second table full of crayons and coloring books and an iPad. She fell flat a couple times. Then, her little friend's family came in so the two of them (they were about 7-8) continued the antics. I now know all about AJ and his girlfriend being mad about one of the staff saying their picture on Facebook was cute due to the fact the staff did their job quickly and then all scurried back to that very visible inappropriately placed staff table to sit and chatter loudly about all kinds of personal stuff. Our food was pretty good. Girls at next table got a raw burger. Waitress questioned "well, what temp did you want ?" Girl said "medium." Waitress said "that is medium" the girl said "no, that's rare." ( way to stand up for yourself! She was only about 16) so waitress said "Ok, well I'll have him throw it back on the grill for you for a couple minutes." WRONG!!! YOU COOK HER A BRAND NEW FREAKIN BURGER!! And since there were a whole 8 of us, personal delivery with an apology and asking if this one was to her liking is more like it. People seemed perfectly lovely. Restaurant looked pretty clean. Will we go back? No. Does the staff, including owners, need some serious training? Yes.

Sorry to say, this is not worth a try. We did it a few times. So-so, to poor food. Service was not so great either. Too bad. The town could use a better food joint.

I and My wife thought we'd give this place a shot, as we pass by often and were aleays curious, but after going tonight for dinner, ($42.00 + $5.00 tip ) I wouldn't offer this place even one star -as everything offered was microwaved, salty prepackaged slop from a vending machine kitchen! Real shame as the menu looked very inviting. Quite frankly, I've had better Hospital Food! I can't believe they'll be around too long. IT WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WE NEVER WANT TO TRY AGAIN AS LONG AS WE LIVE! WE COULDN'T BARE FINISHING ANYTHING, IT WAS SO BAD! DESERTS FROM A CAN, COFFEE FROM AN OLD SHOE, AND A SPARCE SALAD BAR WITH GENERIC DRESSINGS, WHICH DIDN'T COME CLOSE TO THE DESCRIPTION LABELS! I JUST HOPE WE DON'T GET SICK TONIGHT! STAY AWAY ( OR SEE FOR YOURSELF ) As for Me, I'd rather throw $50 bucks into the lackawaxen River and watch it float downstream!

Had the burger and it was quite tasty! It was a half a pounder with fries and the free fixins bar for it which made it WELL worth the $5.95. Best I've had in the area. Wings were good too and came with house made chips. My wife had the all you could eat soup, salad, and dessert bar and was very satisfied. It isn't an enormous salad bar and the soups are your standards but you absolutely get your monies worth! And the 2 for $20 combo can't be beat! (An app., 2 entrees, and the all you can eat bars for 2) The whole place were very clean (bathroom was spotless). The only thing that kept it from 5 was that theday I was there for lunch it was 90 and humid outside and they didn't have the AC going. I kept my menu to fan myself. That and the decor is a little all over the place and mis-matched...not sure what they're going for. All in all great for a family looking for good food at a good price. I will definitely be going back!

If you're seeking a great value and in the mood for burgers and/or sandwiches, look no further. The place is not much from the exterior, but the inside is nicely appointed. We spent a mere $25 (for 2) and were treated to unlimited beverage refills, excellent 1/2 lb burgers and a complete salad and dessert bar. Did I mention the soft serve ice cream??? Plus you get a discount on your receipt for the adorable Candy Shoppe next door. The server was very polite and attentive. Can't comment on the dinner options, but for lunch you cannot go wrong. I just wish I wasn't from far out of town and could visit more often!

Very good food and service BUT on a hot and humid day they turned off the air conditioning. It was awful. I was covered in sweat, my kids were irratable and other people around us were fanning themselves with the menus. They finally turned on the air conditioning about 10 minutes before we left.
