I have no idea if they deliver. There is no indication on the menu, but whatever. If you're in Delco - which you probably are if you're reading this - you can't be /that/ far from MacDade Mall, and trust me, it's worth the five minute drive. Their rangoons are huge and for a whopping $3.75, they've got to pack a dozen into that little pouch. But their real secret weapon is the General Tso's Tofu. Unlike too many places, they cube up the tofu, batter it, deep fry it, then slather on the delicious General Tso's sauce. At other Chinese restaurants, I'd order their version of General Tso's Tofu, only to be disappointed by a plate of tofu with some sauce slopped on it. Sometimes, even when you're veg*n, you want deliciousness that is a little reminiscent of the same familiar meaty foods you used to it, and New China Palace City's tofu hits the mark. If it's awesome enough for my meat-eating boyfriend to keep swiping pieces of my tofu, it's got to be yummy. So get in your car, take a little ride, and pick up a quart of awesome.

Wretched. I got the General Tso's Tofu as recommended by Vicki M., but didn't realize that post was from 2010. Doh! The most disgusting goop I've ever bought under the guise of Chinese food. I never throw away food, but this was inedible. Really ruined my night. I want my money back.

First time here. Food was pretty good... If you spend over a certain amount you get free items. But I didn't know that but the options of free things the lady gave me were 2 egg rolls (which were greasy)or a 2 liter soda. But when I got home. The menu said I should have gotten a free entree. So pay attention if you care about getting your free item. I would go back again.

I used to like them a lot a few years ago. I'm not sure what has changed, but absolutely everything is swimming in grease now. Even the General Tso's Tofu, which they used to do so well. You can eat in or they will deliver. They are fast, they are friendly, but it's a whole lot of grease.

Every now and then, I order delivery from here. I did so a little over a week ago. I actually don't know why. I think there are better options in the area actually. I just give them another chance every now and then because their menu happens to be at the top of my menu drawer in my kitchen and I'm too lazy to dig for another one. And every now and then, something just tastes weird here. This time it was the Honey Walnut Shrimp I ordered. It wasn't terrible, just way too sweet for my tastes. I generally don't go wrong with my egg rolls and wonton soup here. I have my old reliable standbys. But get this. I remember my wife ordering a dish too. I remember her not liking it that much (then again she is pregnant and her cravings run hot and cold on food). I remember her tossing out about half of it. But for the life of me, I can't remember what she got. And this was a little over a week ago. That sums this place up perfectly. It's not too memorable. Sometimes it's OK. Sometimes you regret going here.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
