I wasn't thrilled. The service was alright, but the sanitation of the bar section wasn't that great. I won't go unless I am living near that place. It is about 10min away from my place, but I would rather go to CC, which is about 25min away, for better drinks and food.

Unlike its West Chester partner which sports a younger college crowd, this location is definitely more a middle aged one. It seems like many of them are regulars since the bartenders at the outside bar greeted at least a handful of them all by name. For me the only thing worse than the crowd was the stench of cigar smoke on the patio. It really made it hard for my friend and I to breathe since the air was heavy with its scent. For me, my adoration for Barnaby's only extends to it's West Chester location. If you are part of the middle aged crowd, you'll fit in fine here.

Kind of meh. Really douchey crowd and bartenders. Food is tasty with large portions. Drink specials are good, beer is weirdly priced.

Hit this place up on a Thursday for a couple drinks. Haven't had any food here yet but I will be back and I'll edit my review to accommodate grub. Judging by the signs they have plastered all over the bar area they seem to have some sort of special every night of the week. On Thursdays they have Miller bottles for 1.50 and Flying Fish Drafts for 2.50 (after 10pm), I don't know if the bartender was new but I had to tell him about the Flying Fish special b/c he charged me for the regular price, everyone makes mistakes. The inside bar was decently packed for arriving around 930, I didn't go outside to the deck area since it was a pretty hot night. The inside bar is a long oval shaped bar with a good amount of seating, they had 3 bartenders working with one bar back that seemed to be hauling ass. I will go here again and grab some grub and be back to review.

Jim - the bartender and friend always welcomes me! I always have a great time and he has really delicious mixtures of drinks and shots to serve the crowd! When he's at the bar - it's a pack of women and men mingling. (Howllllll! at the moon). It's always a pleasure!!

I usually go hear for drinks and to watch sports with friends. I decided to get Mozzarella Sticks the other night and I ended up getting food poison. Next time I'll make sure not to buy food hear. I was sick for 3 days after.

Great food, horrible service. Dining room practically empty and didn't see our waitress for 20 minutes after we ordered and received drinks. Drinks were empty when bus boy served our food, still no waitress until I inquired with hostess. Then waitress appeared from bar asking hostess "what did I do wrong." Told her we needed drink refills, another ten minutes and done with our meals drinks showed up...then waited again for our check. Thought we'd never get out on time to make our movie.

I've never had worse food in my life. I live by the barnabys in havertown and eat there regularly so I know what I like. Order the same stuff at this barns and literally thought about walking into the kitchen to see if the chef was either a toddler or shitfaced. I'll never, I repeat NEVER, eat or drink at this establishment again. Waitress was nice and the soup was ok.

This would have been 5 stars due to the fact that this is our go to watering hole. It sucks that I've had to review so low, but as the saying goes, 1 bad experience is worth 10 good ones. The clientele served here clearly defines what Delaware County is. A bunch of belligerent, obnoxious old men trying to start a fight. Now what a normal bar would do is remove the issue, but Barnes? Oh no. The reason? The old head was a bouncers father. So clearly he gets to act however he wants. They "requested" we (the guys trying to have a good time) find a new area. I don't know if it was managements idea, or what, but something needs to change at this bar.

I went there last Sunday for lunch and drinks. Drinks were good, but the food below average, I asked for a side of mayo ,to go with my cheese steak, the waitress told me there would be a .50 charge. Get real Barnaby,s. Very poor business sense. I will not be going to any of the Barnaby,s in Delaware County again.

The only reason I'm giving this place two stars is because it's huge, has a ton of TVs, and a really nice deck. Other than that - it's a typical Delco bar where every time you step foot in the door, it's a high school reunion. I came here with my BF for a beer and a quick bite to eat one night last week. We were seated right away and a very bubbly waitress came over. We ended up getting the appetizer sampler, which I really regret bc it was awful. The mozzarella sticks were still cold and the eggrolls were super salty. The only thing I'd come back to order was the buffalo wings - they had good flavor and were cooked perfectly. For entrees we got a burger and the Chesapeake chicken sandwich. Both were just okay...really nothing special. Service had it's ups and downs - the waitress apparently put in a drink order a few times and forgot to bring it over to us until she saw double orders waiting there for us. I didn't really have high expectations, so eating here wasn't a major disappointment. I'd probably come back in the future for some wings and to watch the Phillies game on the deck, but that's about it.

I have no idea why this place is as busy as it is all the time. Makes no sense it's all the same generic frozen food and beer specials up and down the strip. It's a high school reunion every night, even the manager of mcdonald's makes this place his home every night before drinking away his minimum wage check. It's a shame it seems like barns is an enabler of all the people not addicted to perc's and oxy's lol. Two stars, great facility and location but the food and drinks are typical and generic. Nothing special at all.

Sadness me t say that this place has gotten to poop. I remember when it was fun with no worries about anyone picking a fight. This days I see some of the younger wanna be gangsta guys and gals just looking hard at people. People this is a place to come to have fun not a brawl.

Douchey crowd - pretty representative of Delaware County generally. Terrible management and service - slow, rude, and generally disinterested. EXTREMELY loud and obnoxious - you can hear the bar from about a mile away, so good luck hearing your buddy talking to you once you're actually inside.

Stay Away!!! This place is synonymous with the worst of the worst and clearly defines the "dirty DelCo" stigma. Flagrant underage drinking run amuck. Staff is incompetent at best and lack any customer service skills. Management is even worse and "doesn't have time" to address your concerns. Civil rights do not apply, as management has created an environment with engenders the abuse of local, state, and constitutional law. All of your rights as a citizen including but not limited to due process, right to face your accuser, unlawful search and seizure must be forfeited upon entry. I Will never in my lifetime ever patronize any Barnabys establishment again, and be sure all my friends and family stay away as well. Worst experience ever!! Stay Away!!!

Solid bar with standard fare. I wasn't blown away by any of the few menu items I ordered on a few different occasions. Prices of some food items seem way out of control: my prime example. Crab fries 6.99$ what?! It's a 20 cent potato fried in hot oil with 15 cents of old bay shaken onto the top dozen French fries, oh yeah they put nacho cheese sauce on them. The drinks were good, bartenders friendly and mostly attentive. My favorite thing about this bar is the feel. Down stairs is all about fun, good music, small dance floor, shuffle board, billiards, large bar for the space... Good times for all! Upstairs is all about the sports! Plenty of large TVs with many games on, a few games to play and again, another large bar. Also tables for larger tables. Cannot speak to the deck because i was here just after the new years. Although I here it is nice. Very pleased with my visit, we will return, but it's a bit out of the way for a special trip. Beers are cheap, liquor you pay for!

There's many of these & most are the same. TV's around the bar, yummy good food, great happy hour specials. 1/2 price apps from 4:30 - 6:00 pm & lots of other specials included in the menu. It's worth checking out. Some of them have game rooms, this one doesn't but it does have an outside bar for those smokers to feel comfy.

The food has become terrible since the chef and Kevin left to open up stingers. The people who go there have also become creepy and bizarre. This used to be a really fun bar with awesome food, not it just seems like nothing but thugs drinking while the DJ plays the same rap songs from 6 years ago. Sorry but it's the truth.

The crab night on Tuesdays is worth it, and I love the Chesapeake chicken sandwich. I used to DJ here a long time ago, so I have a lot of memories in this place. Beer selection is OK, but they have some good specials nightly.

It is a kiddie city in there. kids with attitudes. steer clear.

Great Spot, the place to be seen and have fun in Ridley. Great Family dinners and the place to bring the kids for the whole family to have fun. Also a great Banquet facility in the back and the new Patio is Great.
