Last night my boyfriend and I went there to try the candy "slushes" and it was worth the drive. Our waitress was timely, friendly, and the food was good. I had the crispy chicken sandwich, and my partner had the foot long hot dog. Not to mention, we saw a surprise fireworks show in the distance... it was an overall good experience. We recommend, and will be back the next time we are in the area.

Disgusting food. Can't believe we spent $17. It was terrible. I had the grilled chicken sandwich which was basically a thin brick. I could barely chew it. Customer service was not impressive either; they told us we had all of our food, but completely forgot our tots... Kinda wish they would've just kept all the food after all.

This might be an unfair rating as I didn't stick around to try their food. I'm sure the concept works better in the winter, but I really thought they'd have a place to eat inside. Who wants to eat in their car when it's snowing outside? I know - I know - that's what the place is, well maybe it's time for a little change and add a place inside to eat! The prices and selection seemed ok, but I'm not a fan at all.

My first Sonic experience and it definitely lived up to its hype. I actually cam here with the first reviewer! Haha The staff was amazingly friendly and the food was exactly what I expected, but so much better after a long day of snowboarding at nearby eagle rock. Bottom Line: Sonic is for the experience right? Nope I got more than that. I guess this location they like to have their A team staffed Saturday night. I do have the say the food did not come out as fast as I thought it would, but 10 of us arrived in 3 cars at the same time..can't complain!

I tried this location 2 times after it opened and it was not even close to being as good as other sonics. Stopped tonight and I don't know if management changed, or if it was my lucky day, but it was awesome. I won't hesitate to come here again :-)

Sonic always has creative food products on their menu and the staff serving the food is usually friendly. I am typically trying one of the many variations of breakfast burritos they offer in their line-up or enjoying a 1/2 price milkshake special. Sonic needs to watch upwards creep of their prices across all menu items over the last few years. It seems that the prices at Sonic have risen at a faster rate than other fast food establishments over the years. Sometimes food is overly greasy.

Cleanest Sonic I have been to. Besides that, it is your average fast food joint. Would have got 2 stars if it wasn't for the fast pleasant staff and how oddly clean it was.

I came here on 4th of July I had cheese burger meal...the fries are very good..I will come back again

If I could only go to one fast food restaurant for my indulgences, it would be Sonic. It used to be, my wife and I would drive two-plus hours for a stop at the one in Lancaster - now we're spoiled by the fact that there's one in Wilkes-Barre as well as one here in town. I always get at least a cranberry sweet tea here.

I dont usually review fast food restaurants, but I just want to mention how friendly the staff was at this sonic. Coming from New Jersey, I'm used to bare bone fast food service, which is why the bright smiles and pleasant demeanor of the staff went a long way.

This was my second trip to a Sonic. Wile the 1st one was quite good this place was the complete opposite. Don't know if they were having a bad day but quite possibly the worst burgers I ever had. Rolls were extremely stale and burgers were ice cold . Everything tasted like it had been sitting out or pre-made. Tater tots ice cold and onion rings again cold and way over cooked, couldn't even eat them. Gave them 1 star because the shake was good, but then again that was suppose to be cold. Sorry but I won't be going back anytime soon.

This was probably my first or second time at Sonic; I recall having them a looooooong time ago, and we don't have any Sonics close to where Iive. I know that I have a lot of friends who have been to Sonic, love Sonic, and swear by Sonic, but I personally still don't get the hype. I ordered the Supersonic burger combo that came with onion rings and a drink (I got the unsweetened iced tea with lemon), as well as their large popcorn chicken. The burger was nothing to write home about. The patties were small and were dry. The lettuce and tomato tasted fresh enough. The pickles were nice, big, and juicy. My order didn't come with onions, which I didn't notice earlier wasn't included...so...FYI! The onion rings were good and were fresh. A pleasant surprise was the ice tea with lemon! It actually tasted like someone squeezed some fresh lemon juice into my iced tea, which almost never happens when I order this drink. Now, it's certainly not something that will get me to go back. But I had to laud them for this effort. The popcorn chicken was really disappointing. Like many fried chicken dishes at fast food places, it suffered from too much batter, and not enough chicken. I knew what I might be getting myself into when I ordered the popcorn chicken, but was too hungry to care. The worst part though was that the batter was not good. It tasted like it had a hint of cinnamon, and I'm not sure if that was intentional or not (they serve some fried cinnamon things, so I wonder if my popcorn chicken batter was contaminated). Overall, I found the food to be a bit overpriced for the low quality burger and popcorn chicken. I wasn't really crazy about the eat-in-your-car concept. I know it's their thing, but I wasn't digging it. And I don't think I'll be jumping up and down to go back again. Not for me.

I love Sonic and the food is just as good, but their drive thru is not fast. Don't be in a hurry. You're better off just parking and eating.
(4)Dmitry D.
My family andI tried Sonic for the first time and we loved it. Burgers we the best, I loved the poppers, and the shakes and teas were really good. They have a great variety of drinks and everything came out fresh and hot. Plus the kids did a good job with the service they even came out to offer more sauces.
(5)Shachi B.
It's ok. I honestly don't get what the hype is about - there are next to no vegetarian or healthy options and well, the food's not that great. During my 400 mile solo road trip, I stopped for some tater tots - they were overly greasy, salty and a "small" order only had 5 tots in it. Now, I'm all for downsizing American-sized portions, but 5 tater tots for 2 dollars just seems skimpy. Sigh. It's better than McDonald's, I guess. *shrug*
(2)Amy W.
The customer service here is terrible. We ordered popcorn chicken (large) and they gave us chicken strips (small, three total). They said they were out of popcorn chicken and there was nothing they could do. We went around to check the drive thru menu and what they gave us was actually cheaper than what we paid for. The line was four cars deep at this point and we were in a rush. We were ripped off and they didn't even apologize. They gave us a completely different menu item and made us pay for a more expensive menu item. Avoid this place!
