Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I work on WCP, and have driven past this place a thousand times. I never really stopped just because of always being in a rush. I finally took the time on Thursday after checking out their menu online. They had so many offerings that other "typical" pizza places didn't, so I stopped in and tried it out. The food was out of the world delicious! I got the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, which was a fresh seasoned whole chicken breast, that was twice the size of the roll it was on. The fries it came with were crinkle cut, which I haven't seen since I was a kid, and they were super crispy and perfectly salted, even after I got home with them after sitting in traffic! You also get your choice of homemade coleslaw or potato salad, all for a super cheap price! Amazing! It's now Saturday as I type this, and I have just finished off my second meal from them, and it was just as delicious, if not better than the first time. After my family caught a glimpse of my meal, they decided to try it for themselves and headed over for a dine in meal. I'm happy to report that they had an amazing dining in experience. They had the homemade chicken fingers (where in the world will you find a take out place, that MAKES their own chicken fingers?!), and Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Broccoli Rabe. The food is amazing, the owner is extremely nice, and top it off with the fact that he offers discounts to military, police, emts, postal workers and school staff, you can't go wrong! We've already decided that our Sunday dinner is coming from Sciarrino's because we want to try something else delicious on the menu! Keep up the awesome work guys!

Tried Sciarrino's on the recommendations of other Yelpers. I will preface this review by saying I'm a bit of a pizza snob in the sense that I make pizza at home and can taste various nuances maybe more than you're average pizza eater. The crust on the pizza here was your typical Havertown greek style crust which I'm not particularly fond of but can deal with. That being said this crust was very obviously pre-frozen and subpar compared to it's local competition. The onions on the pie weren't cut specifically for the pizza, rather they were the salad onions used which doesn't work well on a pizza given how thin they are. I also found the pizza to be overly salty. Didn't try anything else so I can't give a fair review but needless to say not recommended for pizza.

Food: The pizza is actually pretty good. It's decent. I've also had the garlic knots, they are good, but I wish they wouldn't cook them so long. They would be much more delicious a little less cooked and a little more soft and chewy. We've tried to order the buffalo bites twice (both times around 6pm on a Friday) and they were out of them both times, this really annoyed me. I give 4 stars for food. The antipasto salad was pretty disappointing with pepperoni as the only meat on it. Service: We've ordered 4 times on GrubHub. Every. single. time. they have been over a half an hour late past the estimated delivery time, which is always an hour at least. I just can't tolerate ordering from them anymore and waiting 90 min for their food. I've ordered from plenty of places on GrubHub on weekend nights and have never experienced anything like this. It is ridiculous therefore we probably won't order from here again. The food's not that amazing to justify it.

My wife and I had driven past Sciarrino's many times in the past few months, as we had appointments in the Havertown area. Wanting to try something different for dinner tonight, we stopped in to give them a shot. Okay, so full disclosure, the air conditioning was broken (hey, stuff happens). The waitress that seated us seemed surprised we were willing to stay. Actually, the doors were open, the fans were on, and it felt pretty pleasant at our table. The owner came out to apologize (!) which was completely unnecessary, but was also appreciated. Our waiter was super-pleasant, and took good care of us, making sure our drinks were full, we had plenty of napkins, and our food was brought quickly. Hey, good service is appreciated, but if the food is bad, it doesn't matter, right? Well, the food at Sciarrino's was really good. We ordered a large pizza and a salad to split. The salads were fresh and yummy. The pizza was really good. We were really, really happy with the quality of the pie. The crust was thin (without being too thin) and didn't have that doughy-chewy crust that some pizzerias try to pass off as pizza. We'll definitely come back.

Great food, salads are way above average. Huge and fresh. Their food is quite good for a Delco joint.

Very good pizza at a good price. One of only a few local pizza places I go around Havertown. Definitely recommend.

In a town with a million pizza places, this is our favorite. The food is good and the menu is varied. The only thing that needs work is the fries, which are crinkle-cut and not very flavorful. But the reason Sciarrino's is a hit is because they not only deliver and provide take-out pizza, but they have a cozy restaurant perfect for families. Phone and take-out service, on the other hand, needs a lot of work. If they don't improve their relations with customers, they will fail, like so many other pizza places have in the Havertown area.

I'm a hugely patriotic guy so when I saw the "Freedom Special" hoagie on the menu it was a done deal! I decided to order a side of Cajun Fries and a can of soda to quaff along with it. A pleasant young woman took my order and the damage was $12. One of life's little annoyances is that if you are flying solo and order a side with a hoagie it's almost always too much food. Boy was that ever the case here. I sat at a window table in the small dining room and five minutes later my food arrived. My hoagie was massive and absolutely packed with fresh ingredients. See my pic. This bad boy included Genoa salami, capicolla, imported ham, pepper ham, prosciutto, sharp provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, roasted red pepper and oil and vinegar. The seeded roll was soft and it was overall a very good sandwich. My Cajun Fries were a large portion and better than expected. As with most joints like this they were frozen-from-a-bag but hot and crispy and had plenty of Cajun spice. With the addition of another soda this could have easily been a meal for two. With a hoagie name like "Freedom Special" I had no choice but to break into song and began belting out the Star Spangled Banner! Several other diners whipped out their cell phones and began snapping away. I'll probably end up on YouTube but I enjoyed a very nice four star meal.

Ordered 'House Supreme" with no onions or green pepper for 17.95. Menu said it included Ham, Meatballs, Sausage, Pepperoni, olives, onions & green peppers. We got a pepperoni with olives and mushrooms. Manager said they changed the menu and now only offer the "Supreme" which is what we got. Our bill said "House Supreme" The manager basically said tough and made no effort to correct the fact that they substituted a completely different pizza. They should have told us when we ordered the pizza that the "House Supreme" was no longer available. Pizza was average at best anyway.

I ordered a pizza and a 20 ounce soda from this pizza shop. The pizza was terrible and they sent me a 12 ounce soda instead of a 20 ounce. When I notified them about the mistake they said 12 ounce was all they had. When i inquired about my change the insisted a 12 ounce soda was the same price as a 20 ounce which we all know isn't true. This place has terrible customer service and their pizza sucked.

Well, I wasn't expecting to come back and change my review. But, I believe in honesty. Tonight, they managed to impress the Bride and Joy with a very simple, straightforward cheesesteak, with fried onions. They piled the toppings of perfectly cooked meat onto a nicely toasted roll and put forth an excellent example of the Philly legendary 'sammich.' Their "small" House Special Stromboli, had to take a slightly extra bend to fit into its large pizza box, combined the lunchmeats from their Italian Strom, with pizza, tomato gravy, cheese and also featured meatballs, sausage, sweet peppers, mushrooms, onions, and fresh basil. A very tasty symphony of ingredients, that took the stromboli to a higher level. The only two criticisms I can find is the fresh mushrooms could stand being grilled to release a bit more flavor, and I'm picky, I'd like a bit more cheese. (They use a yummy blend). But I am really impressed by this one, that I will most likely get two meals out of. Great job, guys. We're going to order even more often I think.

This is a good local pizza joint, better then that chain crap, the pizza has good flavor and the large is really a large. I am a big sausage fan and they have some some of the best. The quoted time was accurate when i have picked up. If you are looking for a decent pie in htown give this place a shot.

I rarely write bad reviews but Sciarrinos was so disappointing I felt compelled. I've literally never had a worse experience ordering take out, which is saying something. Just about the only appealing thing about this place is the prices. Of course it's not hard to see why the prices are so cheap, it's burnt flavorless and disgusting. They offer online ordering but they really shouldn't because they can't keep up with their regular orders. They had one guy working, 1, and he got slammed with orders and couldn't keep up. I got there 30 minutes after ordering and he didn't start preparing my food until I signed my bill. From reading other reviews it sounds like I should have just ordered a pizza.

This is a letter to the ditz that takes the orders at the Havertown Sciarrino's. You messed up my order twice tonight and the first time I was nice. You gave me a delivery customer's order when I was picking up. Then I went back and you gave me a plain chicken cheese steak instead of the buffalo one that the ticket said and what I was charged for. Now you are you going to give me my money back and I am going to tell everyone what an idiot you and your co-workers are.

We're def fans of Sciarrino's NY style pizza...chewy thinner crust with robust big flavor toppings. They're our go-to pizza place locally, haven't found better.

6-19-15. Ordered a "House Supreme" pizza, apparently from an outdated menu. What was delivered was a "supreme" pizza which is completely different from the original. When we called back, and spoke to the manager on duty, he seemed very unapologetic and I felt there was an attitude in his tone. Maybe he was just very busy at the time. I was basically told the menu was old and I should've checked the menu online. When I suggested i would throw away the menus and not order from them again, he obviously didn't care and just said "ok, have a nice night" and hung up. The food has always been very inconsistent. One pizza one night would barely have any cheese on it, next week it would seem as if it had double extra. They used to make amazing fried mozzarella, then went to really bad frozen sticks. Personally im done with this place. It takes a lot for me to get upset about bad customer service, but tonight was too much. There are tons of pizza places.
