Ordered a RB Schwartzie came home w a turkey. Not the first time that they have messed up an order. They never seem friendly here either. When on point, Primo can put together a nice sandwich. Unfortunately, I just not have had the best of luck with this particular location. Only went here due to Pagano's in Drexel Hill being closed for vacation.

The workers here always act as if you are an inconvenience. Poor attitude. They always screw up my order. They no longer deliver and when they did it was whenever they felt like it. The last sandwich I had there was screwed up and was awful. A cut above hoagies is worth the ten minute drive for me.

When the local hoagie shops are closed, Primo's is there in a pinch. My problem with Primo's is the price. I mean we are not in South Philly here. $10 for a 9 inch hoagie is not cheap. I can get the same size down the street for about $4 cheaper. The Hoagie is always packed with meat and toppings, I do like the shredded lettuce aspect. The seeded rolls are key as well. I usually go with the Audie (Roast Beef & Turkey) it works because I usually can't decide between a Turkey and a Roast Beef Hoagie. This way I get the best of both worlds. Sometimes you can find a coupon in the clipper magazine to save you a few bucks. Also the lady at the counter I can tell when you are miserable. Smile its not the end of the world and it goes a long way.

I go to this location sometimes because my mom lives in the area. I had a on accommodating experience a while ago when I ordered a tray, it was the smallest one that serves 4 to 6 people, so not like a really big platter. Anyway, I ordered the platter for a teacher meeting and we ended up not having school due to snow the next day. I called a day ahead to see if I can cancel the order. They said that I can't cancel. I don't understand why you can't cancel one obviously you have not made the hoagies yet. Today, my order came up to $22.25 and I gave the cashier $100 and a quarter. She must have been new but she had a trainer next to her. Both teenagers. Instead of giving me back $78, she gave me $77.75. I told them that I had given a quarter, which the cashier knowledged, but they still proceeded to give me $77.75. I don't think they understood what was going on. They said they would just give me back my quarter and give me $77.75 since they put it in the computer system. I don't understand if they realize that at the end though there will still be the same amount of money in the cashier box. If I minded getting change in return and they would still have the same amount of money in the box then don't you just want to give what the customer wanted? It just makes sense. This is probably very trivial, however it was also the way in which they handled the matter. As the other reviews say, I can sympathize with the cashier (The one training) being rude. In all, I will never go to this location again, I will stick with the Ardmore's location or the the city location.

Sad to say as I love primos hoagies, but I will never go back there. Ever. I don't want to be too harsh but the cashier who takes the orders is terrible. She's rude, has a major attitude and just acts like the customers are such inconveniences. One example is a gentleman who was waiting for his hoagie, asked her the wifi password. She looked at him like he was an idiot and said "what? U wanna know the wifi password? I don't know." How could she not know when they advertise "free wifi here". I could go on and on. Do yourself a favor and go to the ardmore location. Not worth the negativity.

I stopped in this location expecting the Primos experience like some of the other locations. I was definitely disappointed. Ordered a small sharp Italian. I got a tiny 5 inch sandwich on a roll that was at least two or three days old. Side of pickles. There were two tiny slices. With a bag of chips I paid over $8. Definitely will never go there again.

They will know exactly who I am as I just spoke with them on the phone and honestly I don't care. They have gotten my order wrong two times in the past few weeks. Both times I am at home and I get some unrepentant person on the phone who rudely tells me to bring my sandwich back in and they'll swap it out. Excuse me? Why should I be inconvenienced like that because YOU screwed up? I'd have taken a simple "Sorry" but instead I get rude and condescending because somehow it's MY fault YOU screwed up. I'm done with you and I'll take my business to the hundreds of other places around here that will provide a modicum of customer service. In the future try to offer an acceptable remedy to your screw ups.

I have been to this location twice and they got my order wrong both times. The staff was no help and gave me attitude about THEIR mistake. I had the opportunity to speak to the manager/owner and it became apparent that the employees take on the culture set by their manager who was equally dismissive of the repeated issue and unhelpful. I will be driving out of my way to the Springfield location next time i get Primos...

Poor service is not that way to keep regular customers. I stopped by yesterday between 2:00 and 3:00. I ordered a Primo Turkey Diablo and a small tortellini salad. The young lady that took my order couldn't have been more bored. No smile, no thank you, no nothing. Ditto for the woman that made my sandwich. She put it in a bag and practically threw it on the counter. Throughout my short vist I felt very poorly treated. By the way, my sandwich and salad was excellent.

What I found to be disgusting was the guy who was making my hoagie was not wearing gloves, he was also coughing as well. I was so disgusted I just left. For food safety, thumbs down. :(

I went to this place on my way to my parents house and stopped to get 3 sandwiches and i have to say i was highly disappointed. The sandwiches were made nicely, everything looked fresh but they were absolutely "cheap" on the meat and toppings. I paid well over $30 for 3 sandwiches and chips and for me to be really disappointed is the reason for the 2 stars. It doesn't make any sense really they are by far the best hoagie shop in the area but just make a decent sandwich and you can charge appropriately for it.

Just ok. Seems a little higher priced than it should be for what you get. But the hoagies were decent.

$10 for a mediocre hoagie? I dont think so...Primos in general is off the list...It used to be the best hoagie around but not anymore. Just isnt good anymore. And the service at the one in Havertown, is awful...the two girls working at the counter could have cared less that i was there to pick up my hoagie. Not a hello, not a thank you, nothing. Just not any good anymore like it was back in the day.

Pretty much agree with everyone else about the customer service. The girl who took my order seemed really annoyed and just plain rude. But! My turkey and cheese hoagie was great, just how I like it. Just the right amount of meat, veggies, mayo and oil combo. I got the unseeded roll which was nice and chewy. It has been really hard for me to find a good clean place to get my hoagies in the Delco area. And I think I will be sticking with these guys.If you can get past the rude customer service its really worth the price.

Primo. Primo. Primo. Seems to be a common theme for me lately thanks to Groupon taking me on a tour around DelCo Primo locations. I'm happy to say that my hometown Primo Hoagies experience has ranked right up there at the top of the list. As there seem to be quite a few mixed reviews I'm happy to throw a straight 5 star yelping at them. Friendly and efficient on the phone ordering and just as friendly and efficient when picking up my food. But to earn that fifth star the sandwiches would have to be on par with the best of my other Primo experiences. They were! My Audiablo was perfectly packed with spicy goodness. Built as ordered with substantial turkey and roast beef. There's just not much more to say. It seems people either didn't like the customer service side of things, or it's an experience like I had - worthy of a big Yelp Woohoo! Yes, I'll definitely be back to visit you again guys!

Tried them three times. Can live with indifferent servers, but it seems to me their sandwiches are far inferior and skimpy compared to other Primos. Too many other places to go back. Sad, everyone raves about hoagies from this chain; but the one near is the rotten apple in the barrel.

First off, I love Primo's hoagies. They have a fantastic variety and they use excellent quality meats and breads. The price is a bit steep but you get what you pay for here. That said Primo's is a chain and so the service is incredibly important when you consider one location versus another. I've read the reviews here about the poor service so I was reluctant to give this location a try but I had a groupon so I decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. I had no problem using the groupon the staff was great both on the phone and in person. I did not see the grumpy female clerk that others have mentioned, the guy that waited on me was great. I say give this place a try, hopefully you have the same experience I did! Also, try the dirt pie (I think that's what it's called) - that stuff is AMAZING though you'll be hard pressed to find the room for it after eating a primo hoagie!

I have to echo the sentiments of the other reviewers re: customer service. We forgot to use my groupon when we paid and when my husband asked if they could void and re-register our order, the initial response was, "just use it next time." Then, he was told that if he paid cash, that would be much easier but it wasn't possible to do with a credit card. Fortunately, my husband persisted and the issue was fixed, but it seemed like a much bigger deal than it needed to be. We also waited quite a long time for our food. Though, once we got it, we were quite satisfied, as the ingredients are high quality. All in all, it's expensive without a coupon and the level of service should be higher to justify their prices. Probably would go back with another groupon. I hope that they are able to iron out some of these issues.

I have received sub par customer service several times from this Primos location. Recently, I placed an order & I asked them to go very light on the spicy cappocola on my Italian hoagie. They didn't. My mouth is on fire. I'm over Primos Havertown.

after spending 2 weeks in japan...12 hours traveling back to the states...my head full of all the wondrous places i had been....my body not sure what day or time or country it was, i wasn't exactly hungry. knowing i had to eat *something*, when the boy asked me what i wanted, i answered "a hoagie." lucky for me, a new primo hoagies franchise just opened up in havertown! not being a meat-eater, primo's doesn't exactly have the widest variety* for me, but that's no matter when there was only one sammie i had in mind that day: the milano. they advertise fresh mozzarella, and it's been fresh every time i've gotten it - piled on along with roasted red peppers. i often ask them to add on some broccoli rabe for a little kick and diversity, but kept it simple this last time. once, i foolishly ordered a small, not paying attention to the wall display which shows that the small roll is not the crusty, seedy goodness you get with the primo (or whole) size. this time, like all others since, i wisely selected the primo, even tho i knew i didn't stand a chance of finishing it in one sitting. somehow, i went from having zero appetite to cherishing every last bite of that half of a milano. and when i went back in the fridge hours later for the second half, the roll wasn't soggy - gotta love good bread. the boy was pleased with his turkey hoagie (also a primo) and we shared a massive, and tasty, whole pickle, which he kindly de-seeded for me as i have bizarre seed issues that i shouldn't be blabbing about in a public review, yet here i am doing it anyway. he also picked us up a small potato salad which was a bit too mayonnaisey for our liking. * note that primo does have a few additional veg hoagie options (tho 2 of the ones listed under 'meatless delights' contain fish) as well as a decent selection of veggie sides. $25 delivery minimum to limited area.

the sandwiches are amazing! but the costumer service is horrible. you have these high school/college kids working the counter and answering the phone. the kids have no manners at all. they don't use words like thank you , how may i help you or have a good day. the sad part about it is that the owners are right there and they let these kids get away with it. your better off going to springfield or ardmore.
