First time visiting. We arrived around 5:30 on a Sunday and while it wasn't busy, they were booked with reservations. We opted to eat at the bar and were glad we did. They have a 4 course dinner until 8 starting at $21. Everything was excellent. Really delicious food, good drinks and friendly service. The crowd is mostly on the older side, but big deal. We chatted with another couple at the bar and had an excellent time. Will Be back for sure!!!

First I like to point out that this is our second visit to Century House. The first was for New Years eve. That visit was worst than this one but we figured it was due to the busy holiday crowd. Let's start with the decor, "1940s at best and as dismal as Dracula's castle". The place is stuck in the depression era and needs a major do over. The service was ok, however, New Years was terrible. As for the food, don't waste your time. There are plenty of other places to enjoy in the area. Why people give this place a high rating is beyond me "Maybe they need to get out a little more". Lets face it, it is going to be better than this.

The decor of this place makes it feel like somewhere my parents would hang out, but don't let that deter you. The food is very good, especially for the price. They have a sort of prix-fixe menu and it's worth every penny. The French onion soup is excellent. A nice local place to go for a good, homecooked meal.

Been there a few times and it has always been fair to good. But just went there last Wednesday and it was sub par at best! I got a $35 T-bone steak which had very little flavor. I could've made it better on my grill at home. The steak came with a microwaved baked potato....need I say more? My fiancé got a $32 filet which also had no flavor and that was supposed to come with mashed potatoes but instead came with a sweet baked potato ( also microwaved ). Her dish also came with a veggie. Squash in a red marinara sauce ( yikes ) very strange!!!!! The only good thing I could say is that the Pinot was good. But for a $130 outing...I'd like for it all to be good. They didn't even try it seems. That place needs a overhaul starting with the kitchen. It's gone downhill!

Tried the only burger they have. (not on the menu, had to ask) It was delicious!! (mixed spicy sausage in with the ground beef. Service was good Decor & theme are old, but not falling apart. Comfortable, nice place to grab food!

An interesting place -- much nicer than one of your average mid-range chains, yet I don't know that I'd call it 'classy' or 'romantic' or ??? It seems like it was built/decorated in the 80s and not updated -- yet nothing feels worn. I can't put my finger on it. I'll focus on what I can describe: the food. I was in a group of 6, my mom had gone previously in a group of 20 -- everyone was thrilled with the quality of the food. I got a steak. It looked thin when it arrived, but it was damned tasty and cooked to perfection. For dessert, I neglected my chocolate cravings and went for the bread pudding -- it was WONDERFUL.

This restaurant serves the most delicious and best value for the money food of any place around. Every time I eat here I am just blown away by how good the food is. I just want to put this on record that this restaurant has the best food around with great value and a superb waitstaff. I eat here often and it is my go-to place for lunch with my girlfriends and dinners with husband and friends. I hope this restaurant never changes because I could eat here every day. The clams casino are just perfect and the way they should be. Salads are spectacular and the chef cooks everything to perfection. All items on the menu are cooked to perfection and there isn't a wrong choice anywhere. I love this place.
