Probably one of the better Chinese takeout places in the area. And by better, I mean fair pricing and not overly greasy. Pics speak for themselves. The general tso is actually quite dry, which I like! It isn't drenched in some thick unknown sauce like other places. Those who aren't big on spicy should get something else - I didn't ask for spicy, but it is a good spicy. The Singapore noodles were also dry and flavorful. The wonton noodle was probably my favorite. Very filling and the large comes with a ton of wontons! They have hot oil if you ask, so if you want to go spicier, ask for it! This place will probably be my go to Chinese place for the time being!

Absolutely the WORST Chinese food I have ever eaten. 1st, it took an hour to be delivered and I live 10 mins away. My meal, pineapple chicken, which is supposedly a chef special, was not even edible. It was mostly vegs, which I wasn't expecting any of, and the sauce was like hot pineapple juice. I ordered it spicy and the sauce just had red pepper flake mixed in. Even the rice was a weird consistency, and the wontons were over cooked. I ended up throwing out almost the entire order. I will NEVER order from here again.

I don't understand the rave reviews about Lu's. I've eaten there four times and none of the meals were THAT good. The General chicken was - meh. Edible, but I won't order it again. The chicken pieces were all different sizes, too. I actually regret getting the chicken with hot and spicy garlic sauce. I asked for it to be EXTRA hot and EXTRA spicy, and it wasn't. I could feel just a little tingle on my tongue. That's not "hot". And the red "garlic" sauce was borderline gross. I won't go into the other two meals. Just that they were not what I expected, and I would not order them again. Thing is, I saw such good reviews here in Yelp, that I thought I should give Lu's another chance - and another chance - and another chance. Nope. Same every time. It's not horrible, it's just not good. There are so many other Chinese restaurants around here, I'm going to try the others. And if I don't like the food after ONE meal, I'm moving along.

So disappointed in our lunch order today. They forgot the egg rolls then the fried rice was like nothing I had ever seen , Like a yellow saffron rice (similar to Spanish) with a few onions in between and the gen Tso chicken was dry, hard on ends and had no taste really not good at all

I discovered this place through grub hub and the first 2 times i ordered the food was delicious and not greasy as I expected. Probably ordered the peanut chicken and general tsos. The next 2 orders were inedible. The general chicken had so much sauce that it solidified into a jelly like blob with battered chicken chunks and the fried rice was greasy and brown. did they cook it with stale oil or re fry? gross. After waiting an hour, this is what I get to eat? Never again. it's just not worth taking a gamble.

I discovered this place from grubhub. I have ordered twice from here and was VERy happy with the Price, the food and the service. I had them deliver on the second order and it came very quickly and hot. I will only go here for Chinese food in the future. I was so happy with Lu's that I had to create a yelp profile and say how good it was

Very good Chinese. The General Tso's chicken was moist and not swimming in grease. Dumplings and spring rolls are very good, also. I enjoy shrimp toast, but the one and only time I got it here, it was burnt. But burnt shrimp toast won't keep me away. Their other items make up for it.

I cant believe that no one has written a review for Lu's yet! It is the best chinese around. Way better than Horsham chinese, which was my former go-to chinese spot. But I was converted to a Lu's lover when Horsham was closed one day. And I have been loyal ever since. Their dishes are very consistent, as well as their prices. I love the chicken with mixed vegetables, fried dumplings and extra hot General Tso's.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly.
