If you're ever in hastings and you don't stop here for food something is wrong with you. This is the definition of a down home family restaurant. From the amazingly welcoming employees, to the quality of the food and portions right down to the unbelievable price...back home in VA this would all cost twice as much and not taste anywhere near as good. Stop. Eat. Enjoy.. That about says it all.

Decent fare for a local small-town eatery. Prices are OK. Ate there during Lent and got a crab & shrimp stuffed tilapia meal. Everything was good, even my wife's food. Only complaint was they used imitation crab in the stuffing. Don't do that and then call it "crab". They discounted my meal and I thank them for it. I will go back.

This restaurant has bar-none the FASTEST service anywhere--especially from the time they take your order to the time food is placed before you. Doesn't matter if you have 4 guests ordering four different entrees--the food will arrive between 5-10 minutes! Oh, and the food is SO GOOD....and I have had lots of different delicious entrees! Only problem is that Hastings is on the way to 'nowhere'...

Despite having virtually no other options, I was pretty satisfied with the cafe. The menu had a fair amount of options and the portions were very generous, I definitely didn't leave hungry. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and was barely able to finish it along with the fries. If I'm ever in the area again I would be happy to come back.

Another interesting small-town place that my family has gone to for years. Can't say there are many (any?) healthy options, but hey, it's Hastings, folks! Enjoy the fried foods and homemade dessert selections....

With the expansive menu here, it's not hard to find something to like. I have never left here hungry as the portions are very generous. The prices are very fair, even considering the lack of competition in the area. I highly recommend you try this restaurant if you are in the area.
