I stopped by this quaint neighborhood bar after an invitation from a friend of mine. It didn't take long to realize why this location seemed to have so many "regulars". The bartenders were friendly and polite. What really amazed me was how excellent the food quality was. I will definitely go again!

A good old neighborhood bar is the exact phrase I would use to describe this place. They had a menu but I was here late on Friday night so I didn't order anything. I had a couple different types of drafts in the time I was there and the beer was fine. The bartender was qucik and polite. The place was low key and had and eclectic clientele. It had the feel that everyone there was a regular and that was very relaxing. I'll try it again.

I was here the other day when I heard they had my favorite beer on tap (Troeg's Troegenator) and a few other ones I've wanted to try draft. The atmosphere was amazing, and I talked to both the owner and bartender a good bit. I found out they have karaoke on Wednesdays, and they break out hookahs on Saturdays. Toward the end of the night (about 10:30) they had a DJ come in and started specials on mixed drinks. I talked to him for a bit as well, and found out he was mostly going to be playing hip-hop and house music (think "Jersey Shore", and actually, this guy said he opened up for Pauly D, lol). He started playing his music and after about 30 mins, the bartender were traded out for trendy/metro tenders, and the bar was full of very young clubber types (if you could call them that, Harrisburg doesn't really have a club scene). A true disappointment, seeing as I loved the low-key dive bar feeling I had the previous 2 hours... All in all, I'll probably be going back, because they had an ok selection of craft/micros, both in bottle and draft. The owner and bartender were awesome while they were there, and it seemed like a bunch of guys that just got off work. Just stay away from this bar on Tuesday nights unless you want to do some fist pumping...

I came in with no expectations and left disappointed. The wings were so dry id imagine they sat under a heat lamp for a couple hours. My Guinness tasted "hoppy" and weird on tap. I don't think they clean their taps ever. The Long Island was good though. 9$ for a shot of grey goose is pathetic... :'( I wouldn't recommend unless you want bottled beer and your at the train station.

Good spot for a cold one without breaking the bank. ($2 Yuengling pints) Many locals, plenty of people passing through town. Friendly staff. Can get pretty loud after dark.
