This Perkins restaurant is inside the Wilco Travel Plaza, just off a I-81 exit, so the location is very convenient for travelers. They do not have their own restrooms though. The facilities are in the middle of the travel plaza and shared by the travel store and the other eateries, so those may not always be the cleanest. Parking, which is in the travel plaza parking area, appeared to be sufficient, but I was there late in the evening so I cannot say how it will be during the daytime. As is typical for the Perkins chain, the food is nothing to write home about. However, the Ragin' Cajun I tried at least had some interesting flavor. Service, however, was fantastic! The server was very friendly and helpful, and anticipated my needs, bringing various items before I even asked.

It's Perkins. I'm shocked these places still exist. News Flash! The bakery isn't enough anymore folks! This location is at a truck stop/Stuckeys. My husband was kind and said this joint was better than Denny's. I'm glad he was pleased. I have to question any place that advertises fruit, at market value, then serves fruit that looks like it was cut a week ago. In season, right now, is strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, cantaloup and honeydew. My dish included the last two and grapes! I ordered the Cinnamon Roll. It was probably frosted three days ago! They advertise their bakery. Do it right or don't do it at all! Coffee? WEAK! Go get a Dunkin Donuts coffee at the truck stop before sitting down. I recommend the mint hot chocolate. Restaurant clean? Yes! Service. Acceptable. Friendly. Our server was the shift supervisor. She was pleasant. Knew her stuff. Not overbearing.

This is a good place for breakfast, but I wouldn't suggest going here for plain eggs and toast. Try some of their novelty breakfasts. For example any of the biscuit breakfast platters. Their pancakes and french toast are also good. Breakfast is a little more expensive here, more than a diner would be, but if you go for their specials its worth the extra money. *I haven't had much experience with their dinner selections so I can't comment on them.

QSC&V: Quality was just OK my chicken sandwich was very good however the fries were fair at best and my wife sampler platter was warm at best. Need to make sure the food at a table for 2 is done at the same time. Server was very good nice smile great attitude and excellent with customers. Cleanliness also very good well maintained restaurant and clean. Restroom very clean always a plus. Value Luke warm food is not a good value with the end results always leaving a negative impression. We have always had good results at Perkins in the past this one not so much. They really need to concentrate on quality.

Beats fast food. Microwaved entries, great deserts, very friendly wait staff. Location was perfect.
