Paxtang grill is a nice establishment close to work. Makes a decent flank steak for lunch, crazy friendly staff. Will be back in the future, takes visa, mastercard & cash. Parking in rear.

My family and I frequent this place. It's a quaint place. The view from the street leaves a lot to be desired. It looks like & the front section actually is a small older bar. The rear section (restaurant) is newly remodeled. Has tv's lining the walls for keeping up with news & sports. The wings are AWESOME best around in my family & I's opinion. They always have plenty of drink & food specials. I have tried several entries along with others in my family & we've never had any complaints. If I had to come up with any negatives they would be that the dining area has very limited space so therefore there's not much walk room or space between tables. Same issue w/ the parking lot. I highly recommend this place based on the quality of food, very reasonably priced menu & excellent friendly service staff.

One of my favorite places, the food has been amazing every time I go. Service is great and their wings are the best.

I've been going to the Grill since I was little. I Love this place! You can come in for dinner with the whole family, get great food and great service and not go broke. Or you can sit at the bar by yourself and never feel alone. Always welcomed! Everyone treats you like friends and family :) 1st timers, I recommend their homemade Crab Cakes or the Greek Salad with grilled chicken. The salad dressing is homemade too!

Only been here once and it was for happy hour. Cheap food, tasty wings. Nice little neighborhood dive. They double charged my card and it was a hassle to get it fixed. Probably give it 3.5 stars.

Terrible service. Right when I walked in I received awkward stares. No server approached me when I sat down. Simply walked out. If you have any dignity avoid this establishment.

A nice place to relax and eat good food. The staff is always friendly. Food and drink prices very fair. This restaurant is also family friendly -- you don't have to feel awkward if your kids are noisy. There is a deck but I've never eaten outside. I enjoy the spaghetti w/ meat sauce and long island ice teas!

Very good food, outstanding and friendly service staff, easy to find location. I had a Delmonico steak, priced well, tasted good. Two had haddock, one stuffed with crab, very good.

"The Grill" is a homey bar/restaurant with great food at a great price! They have daily specials on food and beer. The food comes out quickly and they have a wide variety on the menu. There's a little something for everyone, from wings and burgers to salads, crab cakes and sandwhiches. So if you're looking for great food at a low price...join the locals and hit The Grill.

So, my boyfriend and I ate here last night--since we just moved within walking distance (which is AWESOME). They have pretty good daily specials and a pretty typical selection of beer on tap. They do carry some nice microbrews that are of average price, so I can't complain. I got their tuesday night meal special (grilled salmon, a crab cake and 2 sides...for $9.99). It was good, not amazing, but I'll definitely get it again. I'm just happy there's a bar with decent food right across the street, and my boyfriend is THRILLED. We're going to become regulars, I'm sure.

Your neighborhood bar that's probably not actually in your neighborhood is the best way to describe Paxtang Grill. During lunch time it attracts patrons who work on Derry and Paxton Streets. I've never been there in the evenings - but I have a feeling it's more locals. They have great filling sandwiches - perfect for lunch - at good prices, again perfect for lunch. I recommend the turkey burger, pizza burger, or broiled crab cake sandwich. My mom swears by the pretzels rolls - and ALWAYS orders her beef and cheddar (or other combination of meat and cheese on one). And they have super yummy pickles! Don't be discouraged by the fact that there are only 5 spots to park in front - there's another lot behind the building and you can enter through the back door. They also have a daily special menu of beers and "bar food" and other football specials on Saturdays and Mondays.

Went here this evening after 9. First time. The place doesn't look like much from the front but is pleasant on the inside. There is an outdoor patio in the back. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich. I asked the server if there was lettuce or anything on it, to which she did not really answer but said there was blue cheese dressing on the side. I got some fries with it. The sandwich came on a kaiser role. The sandwich look sort of depressing as there was no lettuce or anything on it. I expected the chicken to be a bit more piquant in flavor. Hate to say it but I would have enjoyed a Wendy's spicy chicken more. The fries were nothing special. Everything came out hot. I didn't see when walking in but they had a sign for a $5 mojito. I would have been interested in trying that. My friend got the potato wedge appetizer; it wasn't bad. I will probably give the place another shot.
