This is a newly built Noodles & Company located northwest of Hersey Medical Center. We went for lunch but were running late so we ordered to go. Usually I would use their online to go app but this was a spur of the moment decision. Anyway, ordered the Japanese Pan Noodles and Garlic Bread, both items came out in 3-4 minutes which was awesome. Very nice interior with outdoor seating. This location is going to succeed due to the quickness and awesome service.

I was excited when I saw the signs go up, but disappointed when I went too soon. Although they weren't open at the time, I returned the following week much to my satisfaction. This place has a very diverse menu with excellent pricing. The portions are nice and the taste is superb. Now, before you scoff and say "well you only went one time" make sure you realize that I sampled 3 dishes while I was there and took another 2 home. Everything was good. My only complaint would be the dining area. It felt a little cramped. Alas, I went on a Friday and business was booming. I'll definitely be frequenting here!

    Nice atmosphere. I would prefer for a table outside. It's a nice environment and ppl friendly (;

Good stuff. Love the Pad Thai and the Japanese Pan Noodles. The mac and cheese was also really good. Haven't been disappointed yet. Cooked fresh for you and not too heavy. Nice and clean, I stop whenever I can.

Went here for lunch 11:30 Saturday morning... It was so packed with customers that people were standing up to eat. All the tables were taken. We had a toddler & infant along and decided to eat somewhere else rather than trying to wait for an open table. I suggest to wait a few weeks until it calms down if you have kids! I can't comment on the food, unfortunately, because we didn't get to eat. Note: All meals come in small or large sizes and if you don't specify, they will "upsell" you the large one without asking. This is probably OK I suppose, but I only wanted a small portion.

Had the pesto dish, pretty disappointing - very little flavor. Won't get that again, nice atmosphere and cool decor, others in our party had good dishes, but mine was blah. I LOVE pesto & this was such a let down!

Not fast-food, but they did serve our orders quickly. Pay at the counter, eat at a table of your choosing. Noodles Noodles Noodles is a little pricey, but the quality and quantity was very nice. 7 bucks for a small plate of noodles might seem high, but that plate filled me up. Minus several "cool" points because this location used to be a Jiffy Lube. Come on Noodles Noodles Noodles corporate real estate people, just because you CAN buy a location doesn't mean you SHOULD buy a location. Ask your PR people if you have questions. Go for the noodles, stay for an oil change.

It's been great every time. Fresh ingredients and quick service. Yum! I recommend the Pad Thai or the Pan Noodles. Can't wait to try more!

I did a take-out on a Friday evening. Ordered following dishes: 1) Penne Rosa with Parmesan crusted chicken - very good 2) Indonesian Peanut Sauté with Organic tofu - not as good as the Penne Rosa. It was little too dry for me 3) tomato basil bisque - excellent 4) Thai curry soup - ok (wish it was spicier) 5) Tres Les cake - loved it I'm glad that Noodles and Company finally opened in Harrisburg.

Not a fan. Flavorless compared to the more authentic (at least owned by foreigners) options for noodles.

steak stroganoff was good, I can make it better but it was good. little heavy on the parmesean cheese and could have used more bite (sour cream) but still was good, different. The young ladies who took order, served the food etc were very pleasant and nice change of pace since you do not always get that at other fast food type places. This is still fast food to me but a big step up from the burger/chicken joints. There is little seating area so take out seems to be popular. As I try more menu items I will adjust my review accordingly buy so far, good 4 stars.

Our first experience was a weeknight on the week they opened. Yes, it was crowded. There was even a large group celebrating a birthday, but we still found seating. The service was a little slow, but they were still working out the kinks of opening. Our food was delicious. Today, at 2pm we ordered online for pickup and it was ready in 8 minutes. It took us longer to get there! DH said it was ready when he arrived. Our food was hot when it got home and it was so good we devoured it. DH ordered the Thai Hot Pot and I ordered the Penne Rosa with Parmesan encrusted chicken. We love it and will go back. And recommend it to others.

Was excited to try this place but was very disappointed. The portions were insanely small for the price and the Thai noodles were the quality of the cup of noodle style you get at the grocery store. I think they could have made one of those in the back threw it on a plate and nobody would know the difference. Would never recommend this place to a friend.

Service is subpar. Second day of opening is no excuse for poor service. Waited 30 minutes for takeout. Absurd.

After the completely lackluster and borderline inedible food my girlfriend and I just had here, we have vowed never to waste our time nor our money at a production line/non-independent restaurant again. I was expecting a bit more from a place with Noodles in their name. The staff were friendly folks but the food was icky, even by what seems to pass for local standards. If you're a fan of paying good money for thrice-cooked noodles, pre-scrambled "eggs" and reheated meat from a microwavable pouch, this is the place for you!

04/17/2015 UPDATE: I have upgraded from 2 stars to 4 stars This is the first time back since my initial visit/review. ORDERING: again, placed an internet order - it was flawless and was ready when they said it would be. The only item of note here is that they are setup for two registers (one for pickup orders and one for walk-ins but only one was in use so I did have to wait behind a person placing a walk-in order, but it wasn't busy so that wasn't really a huge issue. FOOD: My wife again got the pan noodles with chicken breast, and I got a sweet curry noodle dish with pork. This time, they were served in physically larger bowls and was considerably more food than the first time (both times, we ordered regulars) - my guess is the first time they messed up and gave us smalls when we ordered and paid for regulars. With the noodles and soup, we were both full afterwards. Both dishes were good - both could have used a bit more sauce as they were just a tad dry. They did not forget the chicken this time and the tai curry soup was once again delicious. I still believe the prices are a bit high but not totally unreasonable. I do intend to go back and try a few more dishes and based on the quality of those dishes may revise my rating once again END OF UPDATE.................. Now, I know this was their second day, so for some items in my review are unfair - HOWEVER, some of them could have been avoided I think with better management as they need to expect and mitigate issues based on early opening issues. ORDERING: 1) Placed take out order via internet. System told us food would be ready at 5:19pm. We were not given our food until close to 6pm. This is TOTALLY unacceptable, even for second day of opening. The reason people place orders this way is because they are busy and don't have time to wait. Again, unacceptable to wait that long. 5:30, even 5:40 would have been acceptable for second day opening, but not 6pm - 41 minutes after time promised. FOOD: We got the regular sized buffalo mac and cheese (side of tai curry soup) and the regular sized Japanese pan noodles (with chicken add on). total bill just shy of $19. Very expensive considering the amount of food you get. $19 can be better spent at other places that don't leave you still hungry. Even the expensive chipotle, $19 buys you more food. (and to those of you that say food isn't about quantity not quality - that is true to a point, however to still be hungry after paying $19 isn't something that should happen On a positive note, the taste of all the food was pretty good. 1) They forgot to put the chicken on the Japanese pan noodles (we were charged) and it was even written on the lid - but no chicken. Maybe this is new employee training issue, so I'll give them this one (although, makes me wonder about their quality control measures) - seems to be an issue that could have been avoided with proper management and procedures. 2) The amount of food in the Japanese noodle dish was very small. It barely filled the bowl 1/2 way. My wife was still hungry afterwards which nearly never happens. (granted, it was missing the chicken, but still, the chicken was extra - the base dish was still small). Not sure if this is normal or another employee training issue - however in reading reviews of other locations, I think this is normal 3) Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese - this dish filled about 1/2, or slightly above 1/2 of the bowl. For $8.50 expected more. It was quite tasty, but was a tad dry - in that it seemed to need more cheese. When you order mac and cheese, you expect to clearly be able to see alot of cheese - was not the case with this dish 4) Tai Curry Soup - This was the highlight of the meal - it was very very tasty. Unfortunately it was luke warm (trip from restaurant to home less then 4 minutes). I suspect it was poured into the bowl and sat a bit while the other dishes were getting ready. Fortunately, I simple fix for us in the microwave. I was so excited when I first heard the announcement this restaurant was coming to our area. I will give them a second chance, perhaps early next year when they have a chance to settle down. Hoping that my second visit will be more positive. Will update my review at that time

The service was very friendly. And was clean. And the food we ordered was delicious. I'd recommend it to anyone. And we will eat there again.

The food was ok make sure u pay attention to what is hot and spicy and what's not their version of spicy is very spicy . It was very busy when I was there and there was just not enough seating for the amount of customers coming in there were a lot of people standing . The waitresses also seem to be very lost they give u a number to sit at your table once u have one so the waitress knows where to bring your food yet they still walk all over looking as if they are lost. Also the girl at the register was very rush rush with everything. Seems like a awkward combination of a fast food restaurant with sit down restaurant service. I only recommend this place as a to go option not a sit down.

Went there today for a late lunch and will never go back.... First, we walked in and there were only a Few other people there eating, however every table not in use and the coffee bar (?) top were covered in dirty dishes and trash. Then, we waited for five minutes for anyone to even acknowledge we were there to order, although three employees walked by. After we finally were able to order, we moved dirty dishes off of the high top table and sat down and waited. And waited. And waited. The single guy and a large party that came in after us were all served their food before us. Finally, we asked the cashier where our order was. Answers were excuse excuse excuse.... And so we waited a little longer. A half hour for a bowl of Pad Thai! When we finally got our food, the noodles were still crunchy, like they didn't soak long enough, it had tiny little rock shrimp on it and, worst of all, it was flavorless and just bad. I thought we'd go there and try it out as someplace new, but I was so disappointed by the service and the food that this is one noodle place I will never step foot in again. Take my advice, if you want noodles, or more specifically, Pad Thai, go to a Thai restaurant, not this place. It's HORRIBLE!

I've gone here twice, the first time I got the Alfredo MonteMore. The second time I got the Indonesian peanut Saute. The Alfredo was Ok, but the Peanut Saute was overly spicy and the noodles were overcooked- almost gummy. I wasn't impressed and the quality of food isn't worth the price.

Amazing, they have been open a few weeks now and my wife, my daughter and me, love the food. We have tried many of the dishes and have yet to have a bad dish yet.

I really wanted to like this place, honestly. About 30 dollars or so got us 3 dishes - pad thai, a curry dish, and japanese pan noodles, 2 drinks, and an order of pot stickers. The curry dish was good, pad thai didn't taste like the usual (a bit bland), and I really wasn't a fan of the japanese noodles. I'll have to try their soups or salads, but for asian noodles I can think of several other places that do it better. I was thinking I should've had lunch next door at Chipotle afterwards.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
