Nice place decor is older, food is whole some. Upper end place for Harrisburg Pa. Good happy hour specials. Parking is on site.

Created a shrimp and scallop Alfredo meal for me since I couldn't decide. Was amazing. One of the best Alfredos I've ever had.

Stopped into this place when I was on government travel. Sat at the bar for dinner, and was happily rewarded by the nice bar tender lady immediately asking what I wanted. I ordered a scotch and asked to see the dinner menu, ordered the steak dinner with lobster tail. Was pleased with the food, and the drink. Nice place, kind and attentive staff and decent food. Would definitely go back.

Nothing redeemable about this place. The food was not tasty, staff didn't seem competent, and worst of all, it was seemingly overpriced for lack luster food. I ordered the fra diavolo sauce with some linguini and asked for a lobster with it since the waitress insisted they were known for their seafood. I was served 2 tablespoons of pasta with a lobster tail on the side that was so over cooked, I literally bounced it on the table like a ball. The only redeeming aspect of this entire evening was the dinner being taken off my bill. Even the bread that was served came out doughy, which normally I enjoy but this was doughy because it was still undercooked and had that yeast smell to it still.

This place is beautiful inside! Very high scaled restaurant for sure. The food was alright. I didn't like the lamb, and the Chicken Dijon taste didn't stand out. Although, I loved the tuna with - I believe - was avocado in a martini glass, that was just outstanding, along with the Brushetta and Clams. The service, too, was excellent! The only negative things I can come up with is the walking areas. Inside the dining area (because there is a bar as well) you have to walk through the chairs of people, there's no pathway. Luckily we were against a wall and didn't have the traffic of people walking through us because that would be absolutely disturbing. The bathroom had 3 stalls. Also, the menu wasn't big enough for me. It had the option of chicken, seafood, or soups/salads, but the variety just wasn't satisfying. It was just difficult to choose. Oh, and it's an expensive place. Make sure you have money before you take your date here.

Excellent! A buddy and I went to Leeds on a Wednesday night. The parking lot was full of cars, which is always a good sign. Brad was our waiter and he attentive and helpful. He recommended a Cabernet for me and the Black and Blue Filet. An 8 oz cut with melted blue cheese. Fantastic! The bruschetta was fresh and flavorful. The salads were good, and our steaks were perfectly prepared. I would eat at Leeds again!

we ate at Leeds on the evening of 1/28/14. on a scale of 1 to 10 we give it a 5. the service was good. The food not so much. The sea scallops had sand and some of the pesky abductor muscles were not removed. The ice cream served with the apple crisp was grainy.

A best kept secret! Lovely surroundings, excellent food and drinks, attentive and friendly staff - all the things that a restaurant should be. The restaurant itself is a large and roomy environment. Four-top tables are large and never feel cluttered. I've had a variety of seafood dishes on several visits and all were beautifully prepared and presented. Why this restaurant is not packed every night is beyond me!

Nice ambiance, descend wine list, very good service at the bar and in the booths. Banquet quality food when I was there. Entre was ok, sides were pretty poor.

In town for business, my co-workers and I stopped by Leed's. One person out of our group of three had been there a couple of times in the past and spoke highly of the place. We split two orders of crabcakes (one broiled and one deep fried) and the calamari. Cakes came two to an order, about the size of a hockey puck, with plentiful shredded crab (but no lumps). Both preparations were tasty, but the broiled was slightly better. Served with lemon wedge and tartar sauce. I only used lemon, but the two guys liberally applied tartar (it was sad to see). The calamari was a huge app, and also pretty tasty, served with warm marinara. Something in this dish had a nice spicy kick to it. I ordered the prime rib and scallop special. Prime rib, ordered medium rare, was only slightly pink and a bit tough. Bonus points for having horseradish (not just horsey sauce), and flavorful au jus. Four large scallops, pan seared - tasted fresh and sweet. Dinner came with a salad, very good mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley (blech). $33. My co-workers had the filet and fried shrimp combo and the salmon dish with spinach and a creamy gorgonzola sauce. I didn't try any of their food (they aren't my husband, so I can't just shove my fork in to their food), but the shrimp 'breading' was nice and light, and looked well seasoned.

One of the best options in this culinarily-depraved area for traveling business people. Nice old-school dark-wood bar atmosphere, attentive and friendly bartenders and staff. Good stiff drinks and draft beer selection. My crab bisque was tasty, but lacked any noticeable crab meat (fail). My broiled scallops were excellent. The accompanying salad was fresh and crisp, the baked potato was done to perfection, but the bagged frozen vegetable medley was a major fail. You should serve fresh veggies if you're going to charge $26/entree, especially in Harrisburg. Would I go back? Sure. Much better option than Friday's, Chili's or Ruby Tuesday chain-hell.

Unremarkable steak-and-potatoes in an old school, 70s-plush, "loungey" atmosphere. The hospitality was chipper and helpful. However - and I do apologize for this - but when I hear "We don't got that no more" from a server, I don't blame her for the poor grammar; I blame management for the poor training. Furniture note: the booth in which I was sitting felt a little flimsy, especially after they seated someone directly behind me, and I began to feel every twitch and shift from the booth next to me.

I had the spicy meatball with Angel Hair. I asked to substitute the Angel Hair for Linguine, they said no problem, meal came out with Angel Hair. The sauce had no flavor, the pasta was mush and they broke it in half. Felt like I was a 5year old that had his pasta cut up for him. The meatball was more breadcrumbs than meat. I never realized how soggy/ mushy a meatball can get.... I guess that's what happens when its over 50% bread and not meat. To add insult to injury this lunch cost $20...

Went here for dinner and had the Asiago chicken - quite tasty. Drinks were nice and strong. A good solid choice for food, wide variety in the menu. Quality of food is good, just don't expect to be dazzled. Food's a bit pricey for Central PA and for what you get.

Met a business connection here last night. Has a very large bar area and two different seating areas. The greeter was very nice as was our waitress. I had the salmon gorgonzola. It was excellent. Nice portion of salmon with fresh steamed spinach over the top and then on top of that a gorgonzola cream sauce. It was a very nice combined taste. On the side were potato wedges cooked perfectly. Salad came with the meal for $22. This is not on my beaten path, and it was not that crowded although we met and ate early. We both enjoyed our meals and I would come back

Much better than expected. Several people recommended this place, but their recommendations were all in the context of a working dinner. So I was a little worried whether Leed's would be good for a regular meal. It was. Had the fillet, it was one of the better ones I've in Harrisburg. Service was good.

Good dinner with great company A few of us went to Leeds for a company dinner and we did receive good service and I did like the eclectic acoustic music that was played. We had great drinks. The rolls were hot from the oven. I had the Tuna cocktail martini. the lime vinaigrette was awesome finish to the seared tuna and avocado. I also had the spinach salad with the warm bacon dressing. One of my colleagues had the scallops and had to be sent back for being overcooked, he ordered the four seasons which he said was absolutely great. All in all the food and service was great for the Harrisburg area around our hotel.

I ordered in from the hotel across the street and wasn't sure what to expect but it was pleasantly delicious. They were great on the phone and delivered in about 25-30 minutes as promised. The caeser salad was delicious but the crab cake broiled was by far the yummiest part of the meal. For the main I ordered the filet medium and it was cooked perfectly, could have used a little salt and pepper but the mushrooms on top made up for a little flavor. The boiled potatoes had no flavor and the spinach was steamed with nothing added. I would say overall it's pretty good however a little pricey.

Leeds is a quirky, but generally enjoyable restaurant which approaches the level of fine dining. Clearly consistent is their service, which is cordial, friendly and attentive. I've eaten here at least 15 times and only had a reservation when we had a party of 10; never a delay in being seated. Aside from the quirkiness, which I'll address in a moment, most menu items display a high ingredient quality and moderate skill in the kitchen. Their portion sizes are somewhat small for their prices, but Leeds does serve a fine dining niche which is underrepresented in the area. The first idiosyncrasy, which is hardly unique in this part of the world, is a stubbornly maintained prejudice against beef cooked to less than the mid-well stage. You really have to stress the point if you enjoy a steak or roast cooked to a lesser degree of doneness, and the reaction of your waiter may approach the level reserved for evidences of demonic possession. Repeating "medium rare" four times when placing your order is still no better than a 50/50 that it won't be delivered medium (or mid-well). The other quirk, one which I believe to be unique to Leeds, is their vision of what creamed spinach should look like. Much to my disbelief, I've been served a small saucer of warmed milk with a pile of whole (unstemmed) spinach leaves. These quibbles aside, Leeds is one of the 2 or 3 best restaurants in the area and a place which I would return to.

Their Penne Rustiche is SO incredibly good! I was staying at the Courtyard Marriot, which is right across the street, and I ordered this dish. As a vegetarian, I am always on the lookout for good food. It was SO GOOD! The order was ready quickly and the wait staff were incredibly nice! That pasta was so good that even when I had to go to another part of Pennsylvania, I rerouted my trip so I could come back and get the pasta again! Love, love, love this place!

just ok. WAY overpriced. French onion soup was the worst I ever had. Not much flavor, little cheese (none oozed over the bowl and had about a tablespoon of cheese in it) and looked to be wheat bread instead of real french bread or croutons. It was just plain bad. The person in my party who got a steak was pleased but hard to screw up a steak. The person who got a crabcake said it was just ok and my spaghetti with clams was salty and just ok. The waiter was very good but overall It was just ok and would not go back. Prices are too high and you do not get a lot of food for the money.

We went to Leeds because we had heard really good things about the food. I can't say that I was really impressed. The atmosphere is Ok but it looks as though it hasn't been updated since 1970. The food was only Ok for the prices charged which we thought were about 2 dollars higher than it should have been per entree. ( although it did include a salad ) Also they only have one option of vegetables. The night we went the sides were sweet potatoes and broccoli. Our thought was that this place caters to banquets and businessmen from the Sheraton and the Wyndham. My lovely wife added a star because she liked the waiter. My wife and editor thought this review was mediocre, much like the restaurant.

Have visited this restaurant for several when in town for a trade show. However, this year will be our last time to go to this restaurant. It is good food, a little pricey, but it shouldn't take 2 hours to serve a simple meal . No explanation. Server was okay but treated the situation like a joke. Since we had worked at the conference, we didn't consider it a joke.

6 of us had a wonderful meal and evening at Leeds the other night. Welcomed at the door, quickly seated (no reservation), we were welcomed as guests. The decor is spacious and the space a bit noisy. Our server, and the food, was terrific. He recommended a good wine and entre offerings, and they were delivered to order and of high quality. I asked for my tuna steak "cold" and it came barely cooked, and of the freshest taste and quality. Perfect. We'd gladly return.
