Last minute decision to eat here as we were leaving the mall this evening. First time in BWW and I was impressed. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a friendly host who seated us immediately. Our waitress - Laura or Lauren was great. Came right over to take our food and drink orders. We got the Pretzels and fried pickles for appetizers. The cheese sauce that came with the pretzels was more of a nacho cheese then cheese normally found with pretzels. The pickles though were awesome. I also got the pulled pork sandwich with sweet bbq and it was perfect. Lots of flavor. Would definitely go back again! Seems like the perfect place to just relax and have a few drinks with friends.

When this place first opened I have to admit I had a favorable 1st impression but every visit since has been a COMPETE TRAIN WRECK. Not sure why I keep going back but the food for my last couple visits has been absolutely terrible.Tonight was the final straw, I had the ribs and they were the most disgusting by far that I have ever had. They were undercooked chunks of rubber that had the taste of meat that is either improperly stored or maybe improperly thawed/cooked in a microwave topped with A BBQ sauce that barely had any flavor. When my "server" asked me how everything was and I told him my opinion all i got was "oh well we usually get good feedback on them" . I guess he might wonder why he's not getting o tip? With all the terrible reviews I was wondering how this place still exists but then I realize that it's Harrisburg and like the rest of this crumbling city even the dining is going downhill. I WILL NEVER DINE HERE AGAIN! !

Buffalo Dry Rub wings are Awesome. Never a bad meal at this location. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is the restaurant's choice of what they put on the TV. The bar area is one thing but in the dinning area how about not having the TV on UFC or Hunting shows that actually show animals being killed. I am eating with my children. Again, the dry rub wings are the best in the area.

So I've been here a few times actually. This was the smallest one I've been to. I've ordered their Fish Tacos a couple times, which are amazing. You get two fish tacos with your meal. I think they're very good. And you can get a side of your choice as well, either fries, chips and salsa, or salad. I've tried their only veggie burger, which is their black bean - and I am actually pleased with it. As well as their fried pickles, really good with the sauce it comes with! It's a nice place to come when there's a game on. This one particularly at Colonial Park is really small, but the other restaurants I've been to have about 4,000 TV's to watch from. Ok, maybe slight exaggeration - but I feel pretty close. Their cinnamon desert I don't recommend, I've tried it twice (just to give them the benefit of the doubt) it's so disgusting and dry. The big downfall to this restaurant is that they don't have a big menu selection. That's all I can say, at least their food is good though. If you don't like loud places, I don't recommend you come here when a game is on - just sayin.

If I could give less than 1 I would. This place just plane sucks... Waited 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged by a not so pleasant waiter just to sit us at a table. I should mention the place only had 4 tables seated... Then after he sat us, it took the server another 5+ minutes to greet us. We ordered or drinks and 10 minutes later got them. This place is horrible I will drive to Lancaster to go to bww if I ever decide to go again.

We frequent the one on the west shore in Mechanicsburg. This one is closer to me however the service is definitely inferior. It's not horrible but just not as good when it comes to good customer service. They could really learn a lot from the Mechanicsburg location and whatever they do to train their team.

Worst experience ever! Waitress was ditzy and horrible! Our order was placed at 9 pm, but wasn't given to the kitchen until 9:26! She didn't know what types of beers were on tap and added our friends beer on our bill. Will never be back!!!!

We were here when it first opened and didn't have a great experience. We went the other day for a quick lunch. Chose items from the lunch menu and were then told the were out of them. The food we did order was terrible. Expensive for the quality and just plain gross.

Now I love me some wings. And I love bwws. But this ones to go is terrible. They will overcharge you on a trad mix n match if you don't pay attention. Also, I have had my wings shorted twice now. In summary: count your chickens before you leave. They haven't passed math class yet

Never got so sick eating at a restaurant. Ate at 5:20pm and sped home as I was feeling I'll. I canceled my plans for the night and spent the rest of the night violently sick stuck in my bathroom. It's 11:06am (next day) and I'm still not feeling well enough to have any confidence that to leave my bathroom. I had originally decided to not put forth any effort to leave a review. I instead thought I would call to inform them that they should be aware of my circumstance. But After being told on the phone that maybe my body wasn't used to the "grease" they use in their food, I decided that once I felt stable enough to look at my phone I would leave a review. If their standards are so low that my body has to "get used" to their "grease" then they need a reality check on what all customers in a civilized world come to expect. While the staff was kind, I felt uncomfortable while being there. For lack of a better word the experience was trashy and congested. The real highlight of the visit was a sweet older couple who were raising money for MDA. I am happy that bww was supporting the older couples effort to raise money and awareness for MDA. I believe that for every customer who received an MDA slip and left it with their check bww would donate a dollar. My hope is that this is true and it seemed to be. So, while I am still sick and will not be returning at least I felt it all wasn't a lot cause. I know mistakes can be made but overall the food was quite tasteless and my chicken wrap was tainted with either ill prep processes or severally undercooked. To be even more detailed I thought the menus were very hard to read and were over complicated with distressed fonts. The typography layout had no real hierarchy and thus hard to understand. I mentioned to my friends before ordering that if this is any constellation to how their upper management makes decisions then it's a pretty bad sign. My friends had different meals than me so they did not get sick. But I had no clue that my observation of their menu would prove to be such a foreshadowing of the next 12hrs of my life.

Ordered aps and wings. She brought us our drinks then started talking to a guy I guess was her BF, After 20 min She brought the wings out first. Then asked us if we still wanted the appetizers, which she brought out right away! The orders were wrong, service sucked ass and the manager only took off the chips and Salsa! Which they screwed up.

Food was over cooked and way over salted... OMG I'm not picky but this place sucked!!!

  • Daniel R.

The service was excellent, but that doesn't make this a place I would want to return to. The price of the food (figure $10 - $15 on average) exceeds the quality. I thought the chicken wings average and the fried Buffalo Ranch Chicken sandwich also mediocre. Actually, the bun on my sandwich was cold - like it just came out of the fridge. Fries were ok. The highlight of the meal was the cherry mojito my wife got; it was really good. In short, my local bar has better food and better prices plus good service.

Came in and stood at unattended hostess station waiting to be seated. Finally had to go find someone to seat us. Staff standing around talking to each other. Once seated no one came to wait on us. After seeing folks come in after us and be waited on before us, we decided to leave without ordering. Awful experience.

I've been to the new one in the Colonial Park Mall several times. The wings are best if ordered crispy. The trio nachos are delicious - especially the pulled pork part of the trio. I also love the Buffalo Chicken wrap and the flat bread pizzas. Don't order the burger. It's pretty small compared to what you'd get in a burger place like Red Robin. I've had great service on all but one occasion. And if you sit at the bar ask for Kevin.

Best to order the wings only. All of the other food is expensive & cafeteria like. Bad service. A lot of confusion. Not worth it. Will not be returning.

My husband and I ate here for the first time yesterday. The food was great and we will definitely be going back! Hubby got the buffalo chicken sandwich and I got the fish tacos, both with medium wing sauce. French fries were crisp and well-seasoned. The only bad part was the 10 minutes it took for the lazy hostess staff to get us seated, but the rest of the experience certainly made up for it!

Let me first start by saying I LOVE WINGS! With this being said, if you are looking for a place with good food overall and a great place to watch a game, play trivia or grab a few beers during a full day of watching football... This is one of the best places in the area. The wings are good and a decent size. The choice of different sauces is outstanding without being overwhelming (think Arooga's) and yes, they let you divide the sauces per order of 6 wings. The burgers leave a lot to be desired, it is tasteless and has yet to be a big juicy burger. If it were not for the toppings/extras it would taste like cardboard. The restaurant is located in a mall, which is a huge plus if you are spending the day shopping or for killing time while others shop. Staff is friendly and servers were knowledgeable and quick. Overall Buffalo Wild Wings is your average chain restaurant geared towards sports fans who just want something to soak up the alcohol while watching the game. The average food, wide-open atmosphere and loud dining experience leaves a lot to be desired if you are going out for an enjoyable sit down restaurant. Buffalo Wild Wings is great for groups of fans and High school/College kids to meet up for a quick bite/beer.

Slow service...kind of ridiculous. Got in at 7 and they couldnt find our waitress. Ordered food and it took forever too. Not a fan that they no longer let you order by amount. Now its based on weight and you pretty much pay $1/wing with no fries.

Meh. Overpriced for the quality of food.

Fun atmosphere -- TVs everywhere, spacious, clean. This is inside the Colonial Park Mall so there is a lot of parking. Food is so-so -- I have been here several times and still haven't found a wing sauce that left me wanting more. They have a lunch menu with reasonable prices. But the kicker is the painfully slow service.

Well I thought I would try this several times before reviewing and must say I will not be going back after 3 visits. The food is average at best. I did not have high expectations based on consumer reports findings of chain restaurants and would have to agree with them. Consumters had this place at the bottom of the list for food quality. I had worse but for a $10 burger or sandwich there are much better options. First the good, the staff. Very friendly and helpful so 5 stars for the staff but I go there for the food, not nice staff. The pulled pork had a metalic taste to it, odd..My wife thought so as well.. I did not say a word to her but just said try it and let me know if you like it and she said the same thing, metalicy tasting. Next the burger, not bad, not over the top, average but the bun was so small the bread to meat ratio was way off.. Lastly the fries, think of McDonalds fries and step them up one notch. I am not sure why all the hype about this place and maybe over time people will realize its not that good. Long wait times is also a problem. We went at mid-afternoon and still waited 40 minutes. maybe once the fuss dies down and people see this place is just ok the wait will no longer be an issue. I really wanted to like this place but for the price I will go elsewhere.. almost $30 bucks for burger and fries with some sodas is is what you will get. I know this place is known for its wings but quite honestly, I have my favorite wing place across the street from this place so not even bothering with them and oh, their wings are a buck a piece unless you buy a lot of them and then they are a wee bit cheaper but not much..

  • Chris C.

Wings were hot and not greasy or dry. I indicated that I am allergic to gluten and the waitress brought the allergen specific menu (great for more than just gluten) and helped me pick a sauce that was gluten free. They have a separate fryer for their fries and they were really good: skin-on boardwalk style. There was enough Mango Habanero sauce in the plate to run my fries through as well. I got the "wings and fries" lunch special for $9 and was very pleased with the value. Some places want to charge extra for celery and blue cheese. Those were included. They had a gluten free beer (Omission) available as well as Angry Orchard on draught.

I was pretty impressed with the food. Got the fried pickles, honey bbq wings, and cinnamon cubes (not sure if thats the actual name) for dessert. I would come back, but they're a "gun free zone" of those who are mentally stable and responsible gun owners (of which I am). How much good did the "gun free zone" signs do for Columbine or Sandy Hook schools?

The atmosphere is nice and it looks like a good restaurant, but that's about all I can say that's positive! The staff was mediocre at best and the food was poor. I didn't have that high of expectations since it is a chain, but we didn't even eat most of our meals (southwest wrap and boneless wings and kids Mac & cheese) oh and cold cheese fries. Totally bummed! Will go back to sit at the bar, but hope we don't get hungry while there!

The service was horrible! Nothing wrong with food at all! The waitress was complaining everytime she stopped at a table to pickup her tip, but she was horrible. The supervisors that wre captain shirts were screwing around. Would not patronize again

Loved the one in MD so decided to try this location. Was disappointed when they didn't offer the variety sample of beer to purchase BUT the manager nicely gave me samples without hesitation. I would come back here but not with a crowd for this place is one of the smallest locations I have seen

i was there in a Saturday night. Service was ok. the place was empty and it took about 15mins to get the bill. there is two sides to the place and the second side was empty so not sure why it was abit slow. wings were decent. i will have to try the place again at a different time just to see if its better.

This is a sports bar. Think lots of tvs, sports, noise, beer, bar food. If that's what you're into, then this place is for you. This is one of the best places for wings in Harrisburg. The wings are no doubt the best thing on the menu too. They aren't the cheapest though, but are meaty, have lots of sauces/rubs to choose from, and the flavor is consistent. The chips and salsa is also a good choice if you're going to start with an appetizer. The fries are average at best, but are better with the salt & vinegar seasoning. I don't recommend the burgers, unless you enjoy thin, well done (that's the only choice) patties. If you're looking for a good burger though, then you should be down the road at Red Robin. This place is usually pretty busy. There is ample seating in the waiting area though. Or you can walk around the mall to kill some time. The staff is friendly, very attentive, and the food usually comes out quickly -- even at times when the restaurant is busy.

i was a little hesitant to try Buffalo Wild Wings, because of the horrible reviews that I read about the Carlisle Pike location. I decided to give this location a chance In Harrisburg. It was moms birthday and we were hungry. The boneless wings were on sale, because it was a Thursday special. I was impressed with all of the TVs and the atmosphere. This was my first time ever at this kind of a restaurant. Mom liked the music that they were playing on the sound system. The manager announced on the speaker that it was moms birthday and for the customers and workers to wish my mom a happy birthday. This made my mothers day, and made us both feel welcome and valued as customers. I will be telling my friends about this cool place, and the cool manager and workers. If you are hungry and like to shop till you drop, then you will like this location. It is convenient and inside of the Colonial Park mall, near the food court entrance. Enjoy some yummy boneless wings, and then pick up some cool swag from the mall clothing stores.

I've been here 4 times now the staff is friendly tried about 1/2 the sauces they are all ok, ask for chipotle rub on your fries makes them A lot better. I got one of the coupons for free wings for a year which Is why I've gone so many times so far. I have had a few problems though 2nd time their my son ordered a kids meal they gave him a full size drink with it and charged separately for it even though drinks should come with a kids meal we didn't ask for a large cup that's just what they brought. 4th time there had a chicken sandwich with bacon added. It came without the bacon and they acted like they were doing me a favor by taking it off the bill. The Table right next to us had the same issue they had something that was missing bacon and cheese. The Beer prices are quite high $5.75 for a draft beer for a beer that is made close to their location is a bit ridiculous. It's also very loud the volume of whatever game they are focusing on shouldn't be blasting so loud that you can't hear someone sitting less than 2 feet away.

I have never been there before. They told me about the wing place and other things. They had a decent price lunch menu. They were friendly and they can actually do plan wings well and that is rare because it either needs a sauce or salt. I just wish there was more meet in those bones lol. I would come back again for sure. It would be interested to see it when it was crowed. I think it will last for a while for sure but "time will tell if they deserve it" ratatouille the movie. If you love sports, good food, and good service. Go here.

I have been to this location several times. The most recent I must say the service was TERRIBLE! Our group of 6 ordered wings, fries and beer. It was a Saturday afternoon and the place was pretty empty. The people who sat after us had their wings before us. We ended up being here for over an hour without food. The manager approached us and said there was an issue but the wings had four minutes to cook. He then tried to say nobody has been getting wings served when in fact we watched the other tables eat! it was another 20 minutes before we asked for the manager again, our food was still not served. He attempted to make small talk and tried distracting us which irritated us more. Finally our wings came (great food), he offered us a free snack size wing order to be used next time then was irritated when we asked for something that we could use for this visit. Overall, the food was good, manager and service not so much. The waitress never apologized or even brought up the wait for the food.

My first visit here and I really enjoyed it. We came to watch a football game and spent all afternoon at our table. We were not rushed to get out even though they had a long line. Great customer service and our waitress was very friendly and talkative. A little pricey - $6.00 for 6 wings, but we knew that before we went. Just wanted a great place to watch the game. We tried the soft pretzels - $5.99 and they were excellent. They give you two large sauces - we chose the cheese sauce and honey mustard. I really liked the mustard and my boyfirend liked the cheese sauce. They aren't stingy with it either. Liked the wings - my favorite was the Jamacian Jerk sauce, very yummy. The pulled pork was good, served with a pickel, shoestring fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw needs some help but I think it is so bland to balance the heat if you get a hot sauce on your pulled pork. We ate too much, but a nice afternoon. We loved that they will put any game on for you if you don't have a good view on one of the TVs. Get there early, as it fills up quick. Can't wait to go back.

I love the wings here and the atmosphere. The lemon pepper wings (dry rub) and the garlic parmesan wings are delicious! I always order these here. But the customer service is much to be desired. It seems like there are a bunch of young girls that work here that are more interested in their social lives than actually serving customers. I called in an order and when I came to pick it up I had four employees pass me by before anyone even asked if they could help me with anything.

Go here.

Loved the one in MD so decided to try this location. Was disappointed when they didn't offer the variety sample of beer to purchase BUT the manager nicely gave me samples without hesitation. I would come back here but not with a crowd for this place is one of the smallest locations I have seen

Been there twice. Both times bad service and cold wings. Will not be going back there anytime soon.

i was there in a Saturday night. Service was ok. the place was empty and it took about 15mins to get the bill. there is two sides to the place and the second side was empty so not sure why it was abit slow. wings were decent. i will have to try the place again at a different time just to see if its better.
