If you want drinks, and not food this place is great. The wings and fries are amazing though and I've never had to wait longer than a couple minutes for them. And the drinks are seriously sooooo good.

Sat out on the deck great atmosphere. Wait staff was fast and friendly. Food was very good total lunch for 2 was under 20 $. Philly cheese steak is very good , pulled pork sliders are amazing and the fries are the BEST. we will be back again

We waited 45 minutes for our food. I ordered a basket of boneless wings and the soup of the day. The soup apparently was swallowed by Satan. My husband ordered a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich with Potato Chips and they brought him fries. 10 minutes later she brought a small bag of potato chips.

Wow!! Don't expect to get your food anytime soon. 1.5 hours later and one person in our large party is still waiting. Everything came out individually so half of our table was done eating before others got their food.

This place is now Boro Bar and it's still awful. We came here at 830 at were told it was a 45 minute wait. 2 hours later we still weren't sat and were then told they are now on a limited menu, only fried food. Awesome. The manager, a woman with glasses, was too busy drinking and getting drunk to care. If I was the owner I would be embarrassed. I loved the original in Hummelstown, but this is awful. They need some real leadership here and new staff. If it was my place I wouldn't stand for a 2 hour wait and little to no communication. I will not be back and will make sure no one I know will be either. As a a restaurant that's established, you should be better.

Service was pretty slow. I ordered a Turkey Club. What I got was not a club sandwich. It was two pieces of lukewarm white bread with a little turkey, some lettuce, tomato and a little bacon. Fries were cooled already. My wife said her wings were great. Great view! Don't think we'll be back.

Would've loved to have given a review reflecting the level of service or taste of their food but were never given the opportunity. Why, you ask? After sitting at the bar for 15 mins watching the bartender make eye contact with us then walk away to refill other patrons beer pitchers or tend to groups of people entering the bar after we were already seated..we finally grew tired of being ignored, got up and walked out without ONCE being provided service of ANY kind!

My boyfriend and I stopped here yesterday wanting to enjoy a couple beers and a late lunch. We never got to try either because after waiting for 15 minutes we were never even approached by a waitress. We watched her walk past us at the bar a few times to assist a group that came in after us. Then when she came back behind the bar, she made it her first priority to help customers that needed refills. We left without getting as much as an, "I'll be right with you." If anyone else find themselves in this situation, head to McGrath's Pub downtown. Their staff was super attentive and friendly.

Stopped here with friends for lunch today. Deck was filled with customers, but we were able to get a table. Went here with some trepidation after viewing other reviews. Our experience was much better than others reviews. We were seated quickly, drinks served right away. Food arrived in a timely manner. Good portions of good food. Glad that we tried this restaurant.

We had been going there for the past couple months. Food was average at the best. Service depends so much on your waitress. This night started bad and ended with the waitress throwing a tantrum. When we first got there, we filled up a table for eight. Had to literally yell over to get some service. Probably didn't see us since she was standing at the bar station and the room was EMPTY except for us and two guys at her bar. She came over and took the order and was adequate at the best in service. Then she gave us the bill which we promptly paid with a 20%+ tip. Then came the tantrum. Unaware to us was that the "restaurant side" closed at 10 pm. I started to notice her slamming through doors and sitting in the corner pouting. We got up to leave and I glanced over to say goodbye as we went out the door and asked if anything was wrong. She then informed us the restaurant side had closed and she couldn't leave until we left. Honestly, if we knew you closed the restaurant side at 10, we would not have stayed. But here is an idea, next time instead of acting like a child that is upset, come over and say "Hey guys, glad you were here tonight but we are closing up this side, would you mind moving over to the bar side" or words to that effect. But no need to worry your tantrum gave us the same message. Again, place is okay, and they have some great servers there (we have had them wait on us) but this night was the exact opposite.

I was expecting less when my family, including 2 toddlers tried this place out. Turned out to be a great meal. The kids Mac n cheese looked homemade and my 3 year old loved it. Not just the usual Kraft stuff they give kids at most places. My sons chicken fingers had a lot of real white meat and a tasty thin crunchy layer. My salad was fresh and tasty. Service is perky and sitting outside on the front porch was nice and my son could watch the trains go by in the distance. Aside from a horrible Mojito, hopefully just a fluke, I will definitely go back.

Good food, great view and a good price point - what's not to like. Plus they were the only place open in the area on Sunday evening.

If it weren't for the view from the deck I would never go back. Sat for twenty minutes as the waitress served the couple to my left and the couple to my right before she finally acknowledged me and asked if I would like a server. Took another fifteen minutes before a different waitress approached me and asked if I would like to order something. When my beer came it was the wrong brand. OMG . If it wasn't for my cellphone battery being dead and not being able to get in touch with a friend I was meeting I would have been long gone. Unfortunately this wasn't an isolated incident. The worst management around.

Awful. The whole experience took two hours, maybe more. Ordered the seafood basket and the clams were raw. The management was willing to work with is but everyone seemed to be avoiding the table in terms of service. Won't be back, better places to go. View was nice. Outside of building dirty.

Have been here through several different owners/names. Never really all that good but has not improved at all and is not reasonably priced. Other than the deck/river not worth the trip.

Ok, I was here with about 6 guys, on a Thursday night. Happy hour was lively with locals, half blue collar 40+/ half something else When we walked in, there was no wait staff . About 4 mins later a lady showed up and asked us if we were lost. We said we would like to eat, and she said something like sit anywhere ( attitude) Once we settled in , she turned out to be pretty cool We ordered burgers, filet mignonette sandwiches, tuna, apps Food was decent pub I might go back in the spring , huge deck with outdoor seating, view of the Susquehanna river

I really came to this place with low expectations. However, I was impressed with their effort to incorporate their food & drink menu into their theme. They actually make it work pretty well (although I will never truly understand the concept of a beach bar in the midstate). I like the drink menu - the actually have an orange press for their orange crush! Appetizers were decent. Haven't dined or drank inside since it was Morgan's Place so I can't really comment on that part. Bartenders were nice.

I would actually give this place 3.5 My husband and I went for dinner after the movies. Ate outside on the deck. Nice view of the river. The food is average. I had chicken tenders salad- the chicken tenders were yummy. My husband had a sandwich with fries. We each had a soup. The service was decent. The prices were good. I would go back to this place for the view. It seemed like a laid-back place, like a lot of people were regulars. Friendly place.

went here based on recommendations from many friends. The black angus steak was one of the best I ever had. Very large steak, they cooked it to perfection. I did not even have to add salt, pepper or A1 it was that good all by itself. The tortilla's were really good as well. Very fresh tasting tortillas, fresh ingredients throughout etc. Everyone else in my party was very pleased with their meals. good service. I was impressed and I can be picky and my VERY picky wife even liked the food. She has eaten there before during business functions and always raved about their food. In my opinion this certainly is not a 1 star review like the other person rated but have to respect their opinion.

Orange crush is amazing!! They have a orange press, so it's nice and fresh. Mild wing are very good. I'm very picky about my cocktails and wings. But all of it was perfect. :)

We had a horrible dining experience here today. The waitress had only 3 tables in the main dining room - one of which was already finished eating when we arrived. It took 35 minutes to get drinks, took at least 90 minutes to get the first item of food we ordered (which was dinner rolls - served cold - for the toddler at our table), then we were served cold beef tips and rubbery/cold fries. Apples were ordered with a children's meal, we were given applesauce. We were told they were out of apples, but offered grapes. They then brought canned peaches and said "oops, I brought the wrong thing." We finally received grapes. One person had to wait 25 minutes after the rest of us were served entrees - and even then only a portion of her order was delivered and some of her beef tips (ordered med-rare) were raw. She ended up canceling the rest of her order. Worst of all, our waitress was completely unapologetic and offered no explanation for the delays or errors. Overall, it was a 2.5 hour lunch in an empty restaurant. The manager's only compensation was to give a 50% discount on 3 of the food items served cold. So from a $200+ bill we were discounted $19.50 for a disastrous afternoon from which one diner had to leave early to catch a flight. This is a restaurant at which we were guests of frequent diners at this restaurant - our hosts were horrified and vowed never to return.

This is definitely the place to go if your on this side of town. Excellent service & great drink prices. We had the Santa Fe chicken salad - lots of chicken & well done! Great views from the deck with a relaxing bar inside. Highly recommend!

So I have been three times now. My first visited encouraged the second. Now the second leaves me iffy on a third visit. First I do not smoke. So I do not go to the smoking side of the restaurant. Most of the reviews I read say it is smokey. I did not witness this. It was very clean. The restaurant did fill in and get quite busy both times I went. I ordered a simple chicken caesar wrap (this was a late lunch) This was handled perfectly. The wrap did not fall apart. The chicken did not cook the lettuce. The whole wrap was a perfect temperature. You could taste the fresh parmesan cheese, and the delicate caesar dressing, croutons were small enough and crunchy. The lettuce was fresh clean and crispy. the way it should be. They have fresh cut fries, which tend to always be a bit soggy. So if you are into that or don't mind that the fries are nice. I am not picky about fries and these were not drenched in grease so I enjoyed them. This was a Sunday around 3 pm Second experience I am excited for the wrap again, I had such a great experience. Well this would be the following Tuesday afternoon. I am assuming a different chef was working because our experience was that of the complete opposite. My boyfriend's grilled monte cristo was undercooked. Meat still cold and cheese not melted, this is not an enjoyable experience to endure. The ceasar wrap this time was something of a similar disappointment. The chicken was slimy and was too hot. The lettuce was all mush from being roasted by the hot chicken. The wrap quickly turned soggy and fell apart. Croutons were soggy and I did not taste any dressing. The chicken needed to be cooled for a few minutes longer before cut and wrapped together. Timing is key and this chef had it wrong. I did not experience the deck although it looks like a nice outside spot to eat. I don't know that I would recommend this place. The staff, on the second visit, was not professional either. Gossiping at the bar, not trying to keep private. Arrogantly gossiping amongst themselves. Just Sayin.. Go in for the Happy Hour Special on the deck
