Nice place. JOLIE is a awesome waitress. Kept her going and she was good at keeping me refilled. She caught me on a thirsty day. But she was very good. Much attention and lots of smiles. For appetizer I had the Wild West Shrimp. Prepared very well. Came out as well. Most shrimp for appetizer I ever had (forgive the half eaten portion photo). And for my main I had the Pork chop. Came out juicy and tasty. The cook here prepared it very well. When I cut in to it. You could tell it was very tender as well. Loved my corn on cob with it. But could not eat it all. The shrimp and bread was filling. Lol Great job Longhorns in Hanover Pa. I am a first time visitor and you made me a return customer.

This is a good Longhorn chain dinner place although it is expensive, especially with the local area choices I gave it 3 stars mainly due to pricing and chain nature of meal selections/sides. First - this is a great place for a steak or lobster dinner. The prime rib I had was fresh, not frozen, and cooked to my order. The lobster tails my family had was better than the Red Lobster across the street. This is a huge place with nice western decor - saddles, long horns, pictures on the walls. The ambiance is quiet. But the food choices are limited by the chain menu. The meals are pricy and the portions are not huge. So, this is best for dinner when you might want t special meal and pay for it. This is not good for dropping in for a quick lunch. No breakfast. The service was attentive and the server asked specifically how we wanted items cooked. Nearby are many chain places and local restaurants. So, there is no reason to charge full bore for meals and drinks - except to pay for the huge building, stone and artwork and staff.

Again here on a Friday night. Started with The strawberry rock candy drink . Which definitely hits the spot . Half hour wait which in this area is not bad . . Had the shiitake mushroom steak . And my fiancé had the garlic provolone steak . Which both were great . And very price conscious. . Our server Erica was great . Actually fantastic . Been there three times in the last year . Never once was disappointed or upset or had anything less then the best steak dinner . With the nicest and most excellent staff . Thank you for a great night with great food . Ps bring back the three pepper ribeye. Please !! .

I've changed my tune a bit from the first review. My wife and I don't go to chain restaurants often but if we do, Longhorn is our go-to place. Their ribs are fantastic, it's hard to find better chicken dishes, sandwiches are delicious, and for a short while they have lamb chops on the menu. Those are awesome. The staff is friendly and professional. We really enjoy coming to Longhorn. The Montana Mule drink is awesome. I tried to duplicate it at home but was unsuccessful. This place is still a bit overpriced but the quality of food is well above average for a chain. **One note** You know how you get your receipt and there's a survey on the bottom of it? It varies from place to place but at Longhorn, you have a chance to win $50 for completing this survey. Well, one day, I filled one of these out. About a week or two later, I received a $50 check from Longhorn! I never knew these surveys were legit! You might be wondering why only 4 stars. It probably would be 4.5 stars. They don't get the 5th star because of the prices. That's the only reason. This place is very solid.

The new calamari appetizer with sweet chili sauce is really tasty. Steak preparation and service has been very hit or miss. One steak so charred it was inedible, but other steaks mouthwatering. There isn't a lot of consistency in steak size between visits.

Food was great. They ran out of the prime rib too early. It did take awhile for the food to come. Waitress was very good. Over all a good experience.

Generally speaking, I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants, but last night, the LongHorn Steakhouse in Hanover did everything right and, in my opinion, deserves four and a half stars. Since we can't split stars, I'll give 'em 4 for now because there is room for improvement, however little room that is. For instance, while we waited for a table, my wife and I decided to have a couple of martinis at the bar. The drinks were very well prepared; ice cold, with large queen olives, in pre-chilled glasses, which is exactly how a martini should be served. Sure, it would nice if they had a better selection of gins which included, say, Tanqueray No. 10, or Bluecoat, but Beefeaters still works in a pinch. After we were seated at our booth, I ordered the filet stuffed with white cheddar and bacon. I know, don't tell my cardiologist. It came with a Caesar salad and baked potato side. The salad was surprisingly good. Fresh romaine lettuce, with Parmesan cheese shavings, tender, buttery croutons, and just the right amount of dressing. In short, it was much better than I've come to expect at chain restaurants. As for the filet, it was exceptional. It was broiled just a little past what I consider to be "medium rare," but I really didn't care. It was so-o-o delicious! And it was just the right size, so after I finished it, I wasn't so stuffed that I couldn't move. Perfect, in every way. That's why I give LongHorn Steakhouse a good review. It was a great meal!

I like Longhorn, especially the one by my house. The service was good and the people were friendly. They ran out of baked potatoes when I got there around 9pm. The steak was good but this time it had too much fat. Not enjoyable to eat. Everything else was good.

This was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had. The food was amazing. The drinks were excellent. The service was even better! The best part - it is all reasonably priced

After the second time at this new restaurant in Hanover, PA, I was impressed with the cleanliness of tables/booths, friendliness of staff and greeters, the pleasant atmosphere (no loud music or TV), great choices of light meals (under 500) and prompt service. This is the place to go if you want to enjoy your meal without being rushed in and out.
