Another " Stumbled upon" when a YELP highly rated restaurant was closed we wound up here on our way home starving from a Hawk Mountain Hike. Imagine a place from the 50's yet still relevant in the new millenium. 50's? Yes in Service, portion size and prices. Pennsylvania Dutch food is served up by non Dutch but you'd never know that from the menu, taste and the folksy, friendly service. 2 diners were incredibly well fed and happy. Topped off by Homemade pie that would have been 3x more expensive in Philly. We are coming back just to eat real soon and it's a 1.5 hour ride.

It's a diner. As far as diners go this one is below par. Toast comes soggy dripping in butter. You can try wringing it out but it doesn't really work. Side orders are often forgotten and not Cooked the way you asked. Poor communication between servers and grill. Vastly superior breakfast is a mile away at cracker barrel.

This place says authentic Dutch cooking.... I ordered Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes... The Salisbury stark was from an Encore dinner and the mashes were fake.... I can understand using good that is inferior but do not post on your restaurant Dutch cooking if you are just gonna microwave some items and out then in the menu..,,, don't know how breakfast tastes but I will not go back to try..

I like their breakfasts. They'll make your bacon extra crispy if that's your preference. A large juice is HUGE, 24 oz.

This place is OK. Very local diner. It's somewhat difficult to find for a regular traveler. Not much to say about food - they serve regular breakfast food.

My wife and I stopped here one day for breakfast. The girl at the register was pregnant and had her whole belly hanging out of the bottom of her shirt and wasn't covered up at all. When the food came out it was not very good and had no flavor. When we asked for a refill on orange juice and coffee we got a dirty look. Another time when my mother went there, she was actually apologized too by the waitress for how lousy the place has become since it switched ownership. Not good for business at all.
