AMAZING diner! i would go here every day if i could. excellent decor, neon lights and polished stainless steel everywhere. friendly waitresses too. the food was great, i had the "garbage pile" breakfast (a mix of biscuits and gravy, eggs, home fries, bacon, ham, sausage, peppers, onions, and cheese) that was heart stoppingly good. I wish i could transplant it into my home town, but i'll have to settle for visiting every time i go to the National Pike Machinery Show in Brownsville.

Unless you really don't have a kitchen or more than $2, don't stop here. Its cute, 1950s dinner appeal is completely a front for food that is from a box and unappetizing.

Another great experience! This was our second visit and the food really can't be beat, especially for the prices! I ordered the western omelet and added mushrooms. It was excellent. The hashbrowns were crisp without being greasy. My husband ordered the chicken and waffle. Very good chicken, and I don't know if I have tried a better waffle. I think they must use cake batter instead of pancake mix, it is so sweet, crisp, and fluffy. The staff is very friendly and the service was prompt without feeling rushed. Only thing to note, they accept cards, but you have to leave the tip in cash. Definitely give it a shot if you are in the area.

Frozen & fried is the name of the game. Nothing here is homemade, yes the decor is a cute throwback but I wish more emphasis would be put on the quality of food they are serving. Don't expect to see Rt. 40 Diner on Triple D. Just throwing in my $ .02, but they should have put the money they spent on the diner into the drive-in they are so desperately trying to save.

We have tried this place several times and the food was not good at all. One time they served us a burnt breakfast with all the burnt sides facing down as if we would never notice.

Great place to eat. Typical 50s diner, classic tables and seats. The food was fantastic, the twist was playing from the jukebox, old style paper reciepts for the bill, fantastic waitress. What a perfect start to a perfect day.

A friend of mine ate here and was treated badly by one of the wait staff. Owner did not care.

Unfortunately this diner has gone downhill. The last few times we were there, quite a few things were unavailable. No turkey for the Cobb salad, no hard boiled eggs for salads either. We asked for French dressing; they said they were not ordering it anymore. (It's really easy to make homemade in the blender with a few basic ingredients. I ordered pancakes one evening for dinner and they tasted like onion!???? Plus our favorite waitress Ginny is hardly ever there, she is the greatest server and entertainer and we miss her. Hopefully it will turn around soon.

Cute diner with nice waitstaff and fairly good food. A good place to go for a casual breakfast, but nothing fantastically special.

Expectations from the type of restaurants I frequent are pretty much middle of the road I guess. Half decent food, half decent prices and half decent service. If I rave it's because I've beaten the odds and found something truly special. If I gripe it's because it isn't that hard to offer what I expect. Three stars from me is middle of the road and that's what this place is. I've never had a bad anything here, meal or service. I've also never been amazed and had one of those "wow" moments. Others I know go out of their way to come here so maybe I'm just being too fussy. Another reviewer said the place has gone downhill. I won't agree entirely with that but something does seem different and not in a good way. Sort of like they don't care as much about the place as they used to.

Loved this place. My family went here as part of an east coast diner tour. Ginny was our waitress. She was unbelievable. Attentive and kind with a great personality. All of the staff was kind. Restrooms were clean. Meatloaf was homemade and the milkshake were rich and full of strawberries (strawberry milkshake). The turkey dinner is a specialty too. Definitely stop here. Worth the trip.
