Service, drinks, and atmosphere are absolutely excellent. I've been about 7 times since moving here last year. The chef(s) do a great job with the menu and there is always something that will satisfy a variety of people in your group. My wife and I come here on Fridays for drinks, sometimes dinner, but always the tater tots (which are the best I've ever had). The owner is frequently present and does a great job making sure all guests are taken care of. Are you going to have a perfect 10/10 meal every single time? Maybe not, but this place has either done so or come close consistently. I'll keep coming back as long as I live in this town. Also, the bartender is prompt, cordial, and knows how to make a drink. If you just come for the bar he takes care of you.

Eating out on Valentine's Day is always risky, right? Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and New Year's Eve tend to overwhelm restaurants and make the lose their mind. With that in mind, we still wanted a fancy dinner on Valentine's Day this year and didn't want to cook it ourselves, so we gave The Supper Club a try. Overall, I was very impressed! The restaurant is built into the old train station, and actually shares a building with Amtrak, which is kind of cool. Making an Open Table reservation and confirming it was easy, and we had great service from everyone we interacted with. They have jazz music on weekend evenings. It was actually a little bit too loud, but it definitely added to the atmosphere. They had a special menu for Valentine's Weekend, and overall it was definitely successful. We had some of their specialty cocktails to start; mine was a mixture of gin, prosecco and chambord and was delicious. We split the cheese plate appetizer and it was fantastic-- all of the cheese was local to Pennsylvania and I wish I'd written down where the blue cheese came from. For dinner, I had the wild boar ravioli with roasted turnips and a smoked tomato soubise. The ravioli themselves were house-made, and the edges were a little bit more chewy than you'd hope for, but the filling and the sauce were great, plus I discovered I like turnips. My husband had the petit filet and said it was great; he even liked the brussels sprouts that came with. For dessert we both had the Guinness Stout Cake. Perhaps it's not the fanciest option in the world, but you cannot go wrong with mixing Guinness and chocolate in a dessert and then topping it with ice cream. This wasn't the best fancy meal I've had in Greensburg-- but it was lovely, in a great setting, and overall very successful for a holiday special menu. I'd definitely come back on another special occasion.

The restaurant gave off a good vibe when I first walked in with a competent jazz band playing, lively bar scene and friendly hostess/waiter. The food was nothing special. The grilled vegetables on my Mediterranean plate looked very tired in desperate need of grill marks and olive oil while the hummus in the glass jar appeared as if someone had stolen a few bites on the way out of the kitchen. My local burger was so overlooked that It was dry. The "to die for" roasted chicken was bland as was the polenta while the broccolini was almost charred. I'd go back for drinks and pass on the food.

I loved the burgers, salad, and almost everything! My favorite dessert was- and I suggest it to all- the Death By Chocolate Sundae. It was the best dessert EVER!! If I could, I would give it a 1000000000000 star rating. Yeah - It's That good.

Just had another wonderful dinner here tonight. We went for my husband's birthday- his choice. I ordered the veggie burger and my husband had the lamb burger. I have ordered the veggie burger almost every time and it's absolutely wonderful. Make sure to get the homemade condiments, they are to die for. We rarely order dessert, but it was a special occasion so we got the cinnamon donut beignets with cream cheese gelato and maple-blackberry coulis. Heavenly. Pros: Friendly service Intimate atmosphere Unique beer selection Delicious food Cons: The only negative thing I'd have to say is that service can be slow, but when you're on a date or celebrating a special occasion, there is no need to rush.

My wife and I frequent here often. Usually sit at the bar - the service and the gourmet pizzas are excellent. Their bartenders are top notch. We've recently taken some clients/friends to dinner and the food and service were exceptional. We had some personal attention from Chef Greg....Awesome experience. Greensburg should be proud to have them. Brian M

My friend suggested we do a double date dinner here. Turned out great. It was beautiful, lights were splendidly casted around the interior. The waiters are formal and old school. Can't find this kinda place in a big city

The supper club... This place is run by a nazi lieutenant ... Limited menu that'd you need a god damn phd to decipher how to order and it's organized so you must spend at least $29 per person... In other words we couldn't just order a soup or a salad- we had to order an appetizer main meal then dessert for a flat rate... Well what if I didn't want a fucking dessert? This place will be closed once again soon because of the dipshit running it (into the ground)...the service was very nice and attentive no complaints there but if you have a choice you might want to choose downing a liter of gasoline before getting wallet fucked here

Worst meal i have ever had at a restaurant. period! Went there because every other restaurant in town was packed. No problem getting into this place, because it was empty. I knew the reputation before i took my family, but we were desperate. 4 different meals plus appetizer and soup. All terrible and cold except for my $13 burger. How does this place stay open?????

Beautiful location and ambience. However, pizzas are overwhelmed with cheese with barely any of the tasty toppings promised on the menu. Very limited beer menu.

We stopped here while travelling in the area. The menu and reviews were pretty positive so we thought we'd give it a try. One other table was occupied when we arrived so I was surprised it took the waiter quite a while to reach our table. No worries as the restaurant is in an old train station (still functioning as an Amtrak stop) so there was plenty to look at. The building, inside and out is beautiful. When the waiter stopped by I asked if they had Bacardi Limon. He said the only Bacardi they had was coconut. He offered no other rum choices so I assumed they had none even though the bar seemed to be well stocked. So I ordered a Coke instead. I ordered the 'Famous NYC Burger' and tater tots. I couldn't tell the quality of the meat as it arrived closer to well done than medium. My gf said her salmon was perfectly cooked and very tasty. For me, the tater tots were the highlight of the meal. These are not your Ore Ida tater tots but big, crispy chunks of perfectly browned potatoes. The sauces were also the standouts. An Amish ketchup which looked like apple sauce but was so much better. The coarse ground mustard and rosemary mayo were also excellent. A standard ketchup was also included but paled in comparison to the other sauces. Next time we are in the area, we'll stick to having a drink and the tater tots and enjoy the building. The 'famous' burger needs some work.

The Supper Club has always been a favorite of mine. The food and drink here is great and the menu always has a great special. I ate the lamb last time I was here and it was superb.

I am totally disappointed. After living in New England, where farm-to-table is available pretty much everywhere, I was thrilled to hear about Supper Club. My husband and I finally had time to stop in for lunch. My first impression was that the building looks beautiful (I had been in there years before when it was Red Star). We sat in the "pub" area and our waiter gave us the menus. The drink menu came on a clipboard with 4-5 random pages- some laminated, some not, I was not impressed by this display or the wine list. I ordered a glass of wine and the brie, pear, arugula pizza. My husband ordered a simple burger and "tater tots." The wine was okay but not a generous serving. The pizza was bland and tasted like it was missing something, even something as simple as salt. My husband was extremely disappointed with his meal. The burger was small, very overcooked, and dry (he ordered it medium) and the bun was also dry and lacked any flavor. The tater tots were weird. We hate complaining at restaurants but we told the waiter we were disappointed but he didn't seem like he cared to fix it besides telling the chef. We paid and left. I was really expecting this place to be excellent. We will not be going back for food. I may go back for drinks at the bar because I love the atmosphere, but I will not be recommending this restaurant to friends.

My wife and I live in Greensburg and go to The Supper Club pretty regularly. The deserts are fun and delicious. I've never had a burger or steak or lamb that was overcooked. In fact their grass-fed burger is the best in the area. The atmosphere is unmatched, its a beautiful building inside and out. The place is not pretentious. Just cause a restaurant doesn't have a bunch of goofy stuff on the wall does not mean its pretentious. The bread is amazing and different all the time and it comes with a seasoned butter thats out of this world. The handmade spreads are a nice touch. The farm to table is genuine. The service has gotten a lot better over time. Their fries are great. They mix a good drink. And most importantly they are working extremely hard to bring something special to my hometown, and I appreciate that.
(5)A. H.
I thought I was going to be a bit more impressed than I was. The atmosphere is very cool, as the restaurant is inside a train station. In the main area by the bar, there was some live music (guitar and bass) which was a nice touch (albeit it a bit loud). They offer two menus, a farm to table, and regular pub menu. Off of the farm menu I ordered a spinach salad and the Jamison lamb Trio. Lamb was ordered medium-rare, but was served medium. Nothing to write home about. Good, not great. Service was very good.
(2)Alex P.
Really nothing special here. Given there "farm to table" gimmick I was expecting some delicious organic cuisine. I got the lamb steak and it was rather average. The Mediterranean salad was sub par. The lemon cheese cake reminded me of a cold desert found in a grocery store fridge. Basically, for the money this place is not worth it. I did like the wine selection but beyond that I equate this food to a chain along the lines of Applebees or Outback steakhouse. I understand the place is relatively new and they are still getting the kinks out, but it's just not worth the $$

The Supper Club is the latest restaurant to occupy the former Greensburg train station building. The building sat derelict for many years, but has been completely restored. It seems like a lot of restaurants have come and gone in the old station and I don't know if it is the location or what. Amtrak still stops here, so you'd think they'd get some foot traffic. My cousin Cindy and I were in town for the Robert Cray Band concert which was right around the corner. If you look at their website, you'd assume the place is a little pretentious. It's divided into the regular restaurant, which is a little pricey, and the brewpub. Cindy and I ate in the brewpub. I tried the lamb burger with a side salad and it was so savory good! They use as much locally produced food as possible here. Cindy said her chicken burger was amazing. Just how pretentious is this place? Their menu shows "proteins" (bacon, chorizo, egg) and homemade ketchup for toppings!

My wife is a chef and this place sounded good (despite the fact that their web site does not have the menus available) and it was her birthday, so we figured a good dinner at a nice place with the family was a great idea. First impressions: the place looks great, considering they took a brewpub and turned it into 2 separate restaurants. The bartender rocks! Drinks were amazing (I'm into mixology and they were just delicious). We had a reservation, but were 10 mins late (we called to let them know). They explained that there was a reservation for just after us, so we had the choice of sitting at a different table or being moved when 7:30pm rolled around--I considered this inappropriate for them to even tell us at all. A reservation with a different guest is not this patron's problem; though I understand their concern. The food-to-table menu only had 5 entrees in the $25-32 range. Appetizers/soups/salads in the $8-12. The gastro-pub menu had pizza and several burger choices (seafood, lamb, beef) in the $10-15 range. Appetizers were the same as the food-to-table and there were several great sounding options. I decided to get only appetizers and ordered: mussels, the Lola salad, and their house-made sushi. The mussels were bad--when I say bad, I mean they smelled wretched and evoked a wretched feeling (I'll never forget that awful flavor). I love mussels and have never had mussels that bad. I sent them back (the server noted the horrid smell as well; however, the chef said they smelled and tasted as they should). The sushi was good, not phenomenal (never got chopsticks so used fingers). I ordered chicken fried steak and waffles to replace the mussels--it was dry and under-seasoned. All the food was under-seasoned--no excuse for this style of restaurant. Everything begged for salt. My wife had the scallops, which looked good, but she said it needed salt. Dessert was boring. The chocolate cake was like soggy brownies drizzled in butter. The blueberry cupcakes were more blueberry breakfast muffins and didn't even please my 3-yr-old. Service was excellent. Drew did his best to accommodate us for the mistakes in the kitchen. It got crowded and the other staff helped him to ensure that we were still being attended to. Our bill for 4 adults and 1 child came out to $58/person+ food for the child, which seemed high considering the food just didn't hit the spot and since I felt nauseous for the rest of the evening from the putrid mussels. We will probably go back to give it another shot, but I think we will just stick to the bar.
(2)Kathy S.
I absolutely love the supper Club. Took 8 girls for Holiday lunch, and we were blown away by the innovative food, Holiday cocktails, and Chef Greg's incredible " orange Beurre Blanc" served with the grilled salmon. (one friend said "this sauce is sooo good, I want to take a bath in it!") Have enjoyed my anniversary dinner at this romantic restaurant as well, and loved the grilled NY Strip steak, topped with wild mushrooms. When it comes to dessert, you feel like you are on the food network, with presentation on narrow white china, featuring various components of delicious sweet treats. The decor is stunning, you wont be disappointed!

Came here with coworkers and delighted in this restaurant. The restaurant offers both a fine dining portion and a more I'll rate this experience based on the fine dining portion. Lamb steak. Medium Rare. It was cooked a tad bit longer than I prefer. Comparing this with two others at my table that also ordered lamb steak, it turns out that it was cooked very similarly, even though they want it medium and medium-well. I came here on another occasion and got the Porterhouse Steak--medium rare, and it was still a bit too cooked for my taste. Still delicious though. I liked the Porterhouse more than the lamb steak. It's bigger too, if quantity is your preference. For what it's worth, four of my other colleagues seem to like their meals a lot. The chef also comes out and check up on you in the end, which is plus in my opinion. The cinnamon ice cream with cranberries is also unusual, but I admire it's bold stance in flavor. At times, I do feel as if the two flavors conflict more than they harmonize as the cranberries can be a bit overbearing. The most memorable dish that I liked here was the housemade gnocchi with sweet bell peppers. The taste is quite delectable! This combination is filling and enjoyable to eat--just don't eat it with the lamb-steak dish, it doesn't go well (due to the red pea rice pilaf). But with the porterhouse steak that comes with the spinach and potatoes--I highly recommend it (even moreso on its own). ====== On the other end of the fine dining scene, is what appears to be a party, with a full bar and burgers galore. I would probably fancy that side more as it is more casual and the area is larger and more accommodating--doesn't feel as stuffy. Oh well, it looks like I'll have to make a trip out here again to experience this portion!

Disappointing. The room decor is nice. The food is just OK. I had a sushi roll that was no better than something out of a grocery store shelf. Our pasta lamb ragout special was better, but no special, 3 stars. The waiter was incompetent in every way.

First, upon logging onto Yelp I was shocked to find any bad reviews of this place since I think it's a homerun. I don't want to belabor the point about everything being local, but if you happen to have friends/family that are farmers it is a big deal. Getting the names of the farms our there is great... especially since their products are so good. I ate there twice in a short period of time so here is my ratings 5 stars - lamb burger, homemade tater tots, the homemade condiments, homemade potato chips (I realize all this stuff is made from scratch in-house but want to reinforce), the quail appetizer, the beers especially the Golden Monkey tripel and the Lancaster Milk Stout, oysters on the half 4 stars - the bread, the lamb steak, the sides 3 stars - dessert menu creativity..... about the most negative thing I could come up with. The setting is great. You definitely could dress up if you want...so feel free to wear a dress you wore to a wedding... guys collared shirt are fine, but if you want to wear a jacket you won't look out of place. The best part about this place is that the menu can be whatever you're in the mood for. If you want REALLY good pub food, check. If you want an amazing salmon (5 stars as well) and a glass of savignon blanc, check. Point Brugge was my favorite restaurant....now it's this place.
(5)Tina L.
There are no stars for this establishment because after sitting for 11.5 minutes and having the table behind us waited on without even a hint of a server at our table..we have nothing to review..not even a glass of water. We were long time and loyal patrons of the establishment that was located here prior and after not living in the area for almost 7 years we decided to go back and see what has replaced the old venue. Now living in the Washington Dc Metro Area we are used to the pricing on the over inflated and somewhat insisted upon itself menu..but with charging those prices there is a level of service that is expected..they fell short..as even me laying the menus on the bar in front of the manager and the hostess did not even raise even and eyebrow as we walked out the door. Really..are you that pretentious? My husband went back in to express his displeasure and the only one that even had the good sense to be embarrassed was the server that never came over. Needless to say..never going back..and just a little advice..no service is way worse than bad service in any business!

TURN ON: The food at this place, unlike all the bacon n' cheese smothered restaurants 'round these parts is FRESH and LOCAL, and they have a nice long list of all their farms on the menu in case you don't believe them. TURN OFF: The preciousness with which it is treated. Yes, I understand they need to give you the spiel each time about how it is all fresh and local since the prices match the quality. After all, it's not thaw n' serve like everywhere else. And what's with the segregated menu? It must be a difficult balance to introduce slightly more pricey, yet savory food to some people who can only taste ketchup anyway. Speaking of ketchup, theirs is home made and very unique. It has a familiar spice / herb in it which I can't quite place. TURN ON: The ambiance. Grand old building, built back when this country could afford nice architecture, someone tickling the ivories, candles a glow, men who decided to shave, and women who don't look like the heifers they are eating. TURN OFF: As a consequence of this being an old train station, the acoustics aren't the best, but when you're biting in to that pink, bloody grass fed pampered piece of cow, there's no need for chit chat, all you can hear is mooooo.

AVOID!!! This place is awful and WAY overpriced. I went there last week and the experience was as bad, if not worse, than when it was Red Star. They advertise "Farm to Table" vegetables, but the vegetables were horrible. No flavor whatsoever. The service was even worse. Our waiter was non-existent; never checked back to see if everything was alright and took over ten minutes to get fresh ground pepper for my wedge salad. When the main course was delivered, the tuna smelled like fish, was overcooked and tasted like it was rotten. I wanted to return it, but had to take it to the bar myself since my waiter was nowhere to be found. After telling the bartender to replace the tuna with a burger, both the bartender and the waiter had to come back to the table to apologize for the tuna, explain that it was two days old (what restaurant serves two day old tuna???) and confirm I wanted a burger - which took another 10 minutes. I wonder what wasn't clear about me telling the bartender that my waiter was awful, the tuna bad and that I'd like it replaced with a burger??? When all was said and done, The Supper Club had the nerve to charge me for the burger!!! The entire meal should have been complementary after all we had been through! So, please AVOID! You will pay exorbitant prices for terrible food and service.
