I have eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal. Consistent quality. Good service. Priced right. One of best restraunts in Greensburg! My favorites... 5 cheese ravioli, turkey burger, Monday spaghetti special.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. The place was really crowded but it didn't take all that long for the food to come. I had the "little Tony". It was an Italian sub that was pretty decent. Not too big and not too small. The sub also came with homemade chips that were pretty good.

Best pizza in town! Always have a good experience dining in: food is good, beer is cold. In the summer they have a large deck which is nice. When we do takeout there is always a waitress asking if I'm being taken care of, and even after one goes to get the order, multiple other employees ask if I'm being attended to! That's great service!

Good pizza, service was very good. Bar atmosphere. Kinda loud but fun. Price was right, pizza for one, side salad and a couple beers for $21 One odd thing, salad had beets in it...that's right beets. I loved it but I could see some folks being suprised. All in all a good place to eat.

Love this place. The pizza and spaghetti are to die for. Reason for the 3 stars is the last few times the pizza was not as good as in the past. The last time it was pretty lean on red sauce and the taste of basil was overwhelming. Service is usually ok, but this last time, the server was trying to give us a box after 4 pieces were eaten from an x large. She asked if we're ready for our check after our 1st beer. Felt like we were being pushed out...and it wasn't that busy.

Really good pizza! Took the family here on a sat evening. Was seated at 6pm and was out the door at 6:45. Good service. Family had a 8 cut pepperoni pizza, salad, french onion soup, garlic bread, a craft beer draft and a coors lite draft and bill came to 32.00. Not bad at all. We'll be back.

Food-wise, Parkwood does a good job overall. Their red sauce is a little much sometimes, but everything I've ever had has been on-par. I'm especially fond of Monday Spaghetti Nights, but I've had salads, pizza and their DELICIOUS turkey burger. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy, but I must admit, some of the older waitstaff aren't too friendly or welcoming. The younger girls are always more than pleasant and make it easy to feel the whole "family" vibe they try to convey. If nothing else, they get a 4 for being versatile, reasonably priced, tasty and (mostly) kind and welcoming. Rock on, Parkwood.

Went here for lunch one Saturday afternoon with a larger group of people. The food was pretty good with decent portions and affordable prices. The parking lot is always packed and busy even on a week night so I figured it must be pretty decent place to eat. I'd like to go back for dinner sometime and try out some of the other menu items. The dessert menu looked pretty darn tasty too! parkwoodinnrestaurant.com

I'm in the minority but using pie crust for pizza dough is just obnoxious. I did like the crispy brown cheese though. Couldn't taste the sauce not much on it. The wings are typical, same as every where else. Same sauces no originality. Might try something else but pie crust for pizza dough really not good eats.

My boyfriend and I have driven by this place several times and decided to stop in yesterday while we were in the Greensburg area. When we walked in, there were a lot of people waiting and we went up the sign where it says "wait to be seated". After standing there for approximately 10 minutes (with several people who came in behind us asking if we put our name in yet) a lady said to us "You just have to grab someone who walks by. They are bad at this". Having never been here before, we didn't know if this was the norm, or if they were short-staffed. We finally found someone who did take our name. We were seated in the bar, which was fine, but a little loud. There are lots of Italian options on the menu, and the pizzas that we saw looked delicious. After some discussion, I decided on the Homemade Spaghetti with Meatball and my BF decided on the Chicken Parmesan. It took a lot longer than what we would have liked to just get our salads. (A couple that was seated after us got their salads and entrees before our salads arrived). Overall, the food was very good, the portions are large (I took half of mine home) and prices are reasonable for Italian fare. We will most likely stop back and give them another try to see if the poor/slow service was just a fluke. (which is the reasons for only 3 stars).

I have only had things like pizza and salads from their menu as take out, but I will say, they are both REALLY good. My wife and I struggle to find places with good pizza since it is a regular in our dinner rotation, but Parkwood has something that is not like typical pizza places, and very delicious. The other thing to note is when I walk in to pick up my order, the average number of people who ask me how they can help me is typically at least FOUR! These are servers and bartenders that always have other obligations, so to quickly ask how they can help is rare anymore and very appreciated. Great job in having delicious food and a very helpful and willing staff!

My boyfriend and I usually come here every Sunday for lunch and we always get the fried raviolis for an app and the pizza for a meal and every time the food is amazing! We always sit at the bar and the bartender is always super friendly! Love this place and always recommend them!
The day-to-day menu isn't the greatest. Your usual Italian stuff. The specials keep me coming back. Tough to find something without fried food in it, but you can usually dodge a ton of fries if you try. Otherwise I go for the turkey burger. They'll sautee some jalapenos and other veggies for me. Very good. The beer selection is the best in Greensburg outside of Headkeeper. But the vibe is way better. Now I've only been to Parkwood during the day, so I can't speak about what the vibe is like during drunk hours. Parkwood has Hop Devil on tap and Lagunitas, Thunderhop (Church Brew Works, Pittsburgh) and others in bottles. Tracy is great, the bartender (owner?). Very friendly. Nice little spoon.

The pizza here is as close to Lombardi's in NYC as I have tasted; absolutely delicious! They also have a great antipasto salad and their homemade spaghetti is comfort food from heaven. Apparently there's a spaghetti special, but I'm not sure what day. I would definitely recommend finding out and stuffing yourself.

What a great find. We have seen this place from Rte 30 for a long time and finally decided to stop for dinner one evening. I;m glad we did. Prices are good, food is terrific. I love the home made pastas and gnocchi! Wait staff was really helpful, she recommended her favorite appetizer, the "Buffalo Chips", Excellent! We have been back since and it is always worth the trip. Do not leave without a piece of their Carrot Cake!

This is without a doubt my favorite pizza in the U.S. That's coming from a New Yorker. This is one of those spots that deserves to be visited by Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. It has it's own neighborhood atmosphere, and it's share of regulars. Their red sauce (gravy) is second to none. I had a bowl of spaghetti, and felt like I was sitting down to Sunday dinner at my Nonni's house. I have given this place 5 stars because they do exactly what they purport to do. Serve great food, at a really decent price.

I wish I could give this place more stars, because the food is good. The problem is the atmosphere is awful. This is a bar, period. We visited it on a sunday night and there was a 50's d-jay in the bar part of the restaurant cranked up the whole way. You could barely hold a conversation in the dining room. I won't be back.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I ate dinner with my family at Parkwood Inn last night. Our service was wonderful. The waitress who tended our table was there when we needed something and quick to bring us anything we needed. The food was good. I ordered an Asiago burger. You can tell the buns are homemade- light and airy. The burger itself was delicious- burger, sautéed red peppers, asiago cheese and greens in balsamic sauce. It's safe to safe I would definitely suggest this burger.
