I discovered Jioio's when I started attending the school across the street. Years later I still crave this pizza and have to make a trip with family and friends each time I'm in town. Jioio's pizza is not your typical pizza and because of this people either love it or hate it. The crust is more akin to a pie crust than the yeast based crust that most people think of when they hear the word pizza. In my mind, Jioio's pizza is in a category of its own. If you're looking for a traditional pizza, you might find this pizza to be too sweet and flaky. However, if you are willing to try something a little different, you might just end up craving this pizza as much as I do. Although I usually like toppings on my pizza, when I go to Jioio's I love their plain cheese pizza. I'd also recommend trying their famous pierogi pizza. I always end up getting pizza when I go but I know they have many other options that people seem to enjoy. The service tends to be a little slow but the servers have always been friendly.

I have family living 30 minutes from Jioio's and we always make a point to have pizza here when we visit. And we always buy a pizza to bring home to DC! (And usually bottles of their sauces as well!) Our families undisputed favorite is a basic cheese pizza. This is worth mentioning because Jioio's is the only restaurant where we actually prefer a -plain- cheese pizza. Jioio's pizza is simply so good no one wants to add anything to it! The taste is unique, Jioio's crust is more like a pastry than bread, and the tomato sauce is noticeably sweeter than common pizzas. Jioio's pizza won't be like other pizza you've had. Try it with an open mind and enjoy it for what it is, a delicious pizza like you've never tasted before! We drive past a dozen or more pizza restaurants to eat a Jioio's. Take my advice, don't pass up the chance to have a Jioio's pizza.

Get the pizza. It's not NY style by any means but definitely good. The crust is a buttery thin crust. Old school Italian restaurant.

Its a must when I'm at home!! They have the best pizza ever!! The dough is like pie dough and the sauce is awsome!! Everyone I know, agrees the Carbon location is the best! Latrobe always burns their pizzas.

Food is great. But be prepared to wait, and wait and wait and wait. The service was absolutely horrible. It has been awhile since we had been here last and it will be a looooong time before we go back. The dining room was probably 1/3 empty and we had to wait in the takeout side on a bench for 20 minutes before we were seated. Then probably another 15 minutes before the waitress came with menus. Then another wait before taking our order. We waited so long for the check I almost left some money on the table and walked out the door. I even got up a walked around. Neither waitress was to be seen nor the hostess. Got my own leftover container.

Yum yum yum. I love Jioios, and it's great that you can eat there butttttt I truly wish they had more seating! Sometimes you have to wait a while to get a seat because there's only about 12 tables. It's totally worth the wait but when you're mouth is watering it's hard to lol. The canollis are made when you order one and are delicious so save room!

This pizza has a sweet crust that turns out to be a new addiction once you have experienced it!! Really delicious and different! Service was great!

The sweet crust Jioio's pizza has is always a treat for me, but most other reviewers are right: People either love the sweet crust or hate it. The sauce and cheese complement the sweetness surprisingly well. Typically I order takeout here when I'm in the area, but I did dine in once and remember it being a pleasant experience. Apps are solid, too.

The best way to describe Jioio's is "heavenly." Everyone knows them for their famous pizza, which is thin, crispy, sweet, and unlike any other pizza out there. You either love it or you hate it. If you want to eat both dinner and dessert at the same time, this is the way to do it! But say you're in the "hate it" camp, Jioio's has fantastic food other than their pizza that is some of the best in the Greensburg area. Heck, it's just some of the tastiest food I've had anywhere. As for non-pizza related recommended items, you can't go wrong with their salads. I've had the grilled chicken, the breaded buffalo chicken, and the steak, all of which were absolutely ginormous, tasted delicious, and even included two slices of tasty garlic toast. If you can down one of these salads and both slices of toast, you won't leave this place hungry, that's for sure! They also have some other really delicious and massive dishes like the Chicken Parm and the Baked Ziti - you can't go wrong with either! So yeah, even if you're a Jioio's pizza hater, there's many other scrumptious items on their menu that surely won't disappoint!

I haven't had a ton of pizza in Greensburg since I've moved here, but this might be the best in town! A friend got takeout for game night, and I was excited to finally try it. The crust has good flavor and texture, and the sauce, while oddly a bit sweet, has a unique and very good taste to it. I tried one slice of veggie combo and one slice that had meatballs and spinach and enjoyed both. The slices were square-cut, but I'm not sure if that's standard or if she got it as a special request. Prices seemed reasonable. They don't deliver, sadly, but it's worth driving there for takeout.

Food is good, customer service is horrible. We order takeout quite a bit from them and every single time we order over the phone the employee on the other line is cold, rude and seems very annoyed. Funny thing is, it's different employees each time. Not sure if all you have to be is a teenager with a bad attitude and no people skills to work there or if the job just turns all of their employees into these irritating individuals. I sure hope after they graduate high school and start a career that they gain some personality and common courtesy skills. The ONLY reason it gets 2 stars is because of their baked ziti.

This is a great little restaurant!!! I've had their chix Parm, veal Parm, and spaghetti! Every time this food is HOT!!!! The server will say, this plate is extremely hot with the Parm entrees and baked entrees. The next time we go, we will try the pizza. All entrees that go by the table look good! Kim has been our server and she is friendly and always accommodating!!!

I wish i read the reviews before we got here. We didn't like the sweet crust and sauce. But the wedding soup and wings were great.

Tired the ziti dinner special - - - it was enough food to feed an army but I found the flavor to be a little bland. I like my Italian food with more spice to enhance the flavor. My wife had the gluten-free meat pizza which was really good. Excellent service made this a nice stop for dinner.

First of all- good to excellent food, especially for the price. However! They have massive management issues... Just waited over an hour for my take out order (ordered at 5, called to confirm it would be ready by 6, arrived to pick up at 6, did not receive food until after 7). I asked for a refund after 50 minutes and they initially agreed but then stalled until my food was magically ready and subsequently refused my refund. I understand the owner doesn't want to loose the 24 bucks, but he just lost much more as I'm not going back now. The food isn't THAT good to deal with poor customer service because to be honest, no food is.

I was so excited to eat here, it was pretty late in the evening and it was such a long day all I wanted was some good food and to relax... Our server did not come and greet us until we had to ask the hostess where she was, then she came over and just said "hi" it was super awkward.. So she gave us drinks and walked away... About 15 minutes later we were getting anxious considering she only had one other table on the other side, so again we asked the hostess to find our waitress. Well she comes scrambling in and reaked of cigarettes, so she was clearly outside smoking and forgot about us... So annoying!!!! So we order, she brings our salads and our salad orders were completely wrong. She walks away and we sat there waiting for her to come back asking how our food was... Well it never happened. At this point I just wanted to leave, I was absolutely disgusted. So I actually had to get her attention for her to come over and talk to us. We told her we weren't happy and she asked if we wanted her to re make our salads, no thank you cigarette hands. We left, starving...

HORRIBLE!I called on Friday 3 times. Each time I got hung up on. On the 4th try I told the girl what happened she said"look man, we're certainly busy and I don't have time for this. Do you want to order or not ?" Screw this place. My hard earned money isn't going to jioios wallet.

Good solid food. Very heavy Italian. Sauce is a bit to sweet for me but compliments the heavy dishes better than spaghetti. No wine.

Pizza Pizza and more Pizza!! Jioio's is a must must try for anyone visiting or living in the area. Jioio's has TWO locations, one in Latrobe and one in Greensburg. The one Latrobe is much bigger, incase you have a big group. When you first walk into Jioio's you think, I am at someone's house...It is a small, warm, intimate family friendly place. Once you walk in, you are greated by one of the waitresses walking around. Once at your table, you open up the menu... I haven't made it past the pizza!! If you order pizza beware, it has a sweet taste that comes from the pie esk crust!! It is out of this world! Each piece is square with a thin crust, just enough to get a nice crisp but not too doughy. The sauce to cheese ratio is perfect along with the tart sauce with the sweet crust. You will eat about 4 slices before you know it! Really nice change of pace when compared to traditional pizza. On top of the pizza the service has been good as well, so pts for that!! Overall great pizza that hits the spot but makes you beg for more!! So grab your bib and settle on in, this is gonna a tasty ride!!

The food is great but the service and organization of the wait staff is abysmal. They do not control their dining room and seat people out of order. They promised a 15 minute wait and we waited near 45 minutes for a table along with 2 other families while people were allowed to walk in a seat themselves. I am very quickly learning to never come here. The same issue occurs with their takeout orders are never on time and the staff is disorganized and rude. Just real disappointed. Used to be one of my favorite places. Go to Lupe and leo's instead.

Lucked out! We're new in town and we needed a pizza. We ordered a meat pizza and holy amazing! I'm not sure what they use... but that pizza dough, haha. I think the best way to describe it is like a pie crust. And oddly enough, a bit sweet. But the meat pizza with hot sauce on it is the way to go. Will be back soon! Also, the nicest server, can't remember her name but great all around!

Very unique, great pizza. Thin crust with a sweet sauce, it's easy to eat and delicious. The sausage pizza here is probably my favorite

This is a family favorite & it may be my overall favorite place ever. Everything is homemade & authentic - this is how Italian foodd should be! We ate here last night; it had been awhile since we ate here. I had my favorite, Veal Parmesan. It is SO AWESOME here, I have a hard time ordering this dish at any other restaurant because other places simply cannot come close! 2 huge pieces if veal, covered with cheese and the trademark Jioio's sweet spaghetti sauce! Yum!! And it comes with a side of spaghetti. Plus, you get a side salad or cup of soup. Do yourself a favor, get the wedding soup!! Like grandma's "pastina." I didn't have it last night, but the Italian chili is worth trying. Unreal. Other favorites here: chicken parm, meatball parm, and the pizza....oh, the pizza. My favorite pizza of all-time!! The cheese & toppings are so fresh; the sweet Jioio's sauce, my favorite; and the thin crust is so awesome that it's like a dessert!! I would say, if I had 1 last place to eat on Earth, Jioio's may very well be my choice!!

Love Jiioios Pizza!!! The fried cauliflower and French fries are also amazing!! Mustard sauce with everything is delish!! Finish with gob cake for dessert!! Kim is our go to server she treats us like family knows our order and takes great care of us!!

Pie crust style pizza, which is good if you enjoy a sweet crust. The dining room is claustrophobic you can literally touch fellow diners with a bent arm. Service was pretty bad, very slow staff that was rude to us and other customers in the room. Does not have a full service bar. Bathroom was very dirty.

  • Steve M.

The sauce is what makes Jioios the best around...the pizza dough is also quite nice. It's always hard as hell to stop eating and I always find myself walking out in pain. Certainly get a salad with the house dressing...you'll be happy you did. My biggest complaint? They stopped serving the 1.5 liter (I think that was the size) Stewart pops. I used to pound one of those and a small pizza every weekend with my high school friends. Ahhhh...the good old days. Be careful on the parking lot and drop mom/dad at the door...it's a doozy.

I was talking with my customer about Italian food. She recommended this place as one of the best in the area. I checked it out, here on Yelp. The reviews were mostly outstanding. So between my customer and all these great reviews, I had to try it. I have to say that this place is average. I ordered the gnocchi dinner. The sauce was sweet as everyone described. It was good. But I was expecting home made gnocchi. I get these same gnocchi from Sam's Club. Don't get me wrong, the food was good and the restaurant is nice but it not a place I would write home about or make a special trip for. Would I come back, yes, but because the party I'm with wants to go there.

I live in northern Michigan and constantly crave Jioio's pizza. I tell everyone I know that is traveling to the Pittsburgh area to look them up. The thin, flaky, buttery, sweet crust on this pizza is to die for. The sauce is rich and flavorful and the toppings are abundant. IT IS THE BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD. It is very unique and I'll agree that i may not be for everyone, but its definitely worth trying to find out if you're in the crowd whose lives it touches or not. If I could give Jioio's 10 stars, I would.

Jioio's (pronounced: JOE-eee-Ohs) Restaurant serves up what could possibly be the most extraordinarily singular pizza on the planet. It draws a line in the sand and demands that you stand on one side or the other. It has been the nail in the coffin in many relationships, it has caused a few sleepy Southwestern Pennsylvanian villages to be raised to the ground, and has won one for the thumb (go steelers!). OK, I exaggerate, but only ever so slightly. The pizza served here does have quite a cultish following. It is the best pizza in Pittsburgh, PA without a doubt (many yinzers would agree) and it's an hour drive away from the city. Pulling up to the restaurant and it looks like an adult bookstore with no windows in sight, but I feel that a pizza this pornographic can only be served in such a joint. Upon entering you are faced with a take-out counter and a beer and pop mini-mart style cooler hugs your right side. There are two dinning rooms one on the left features numerous dead animal heads mounted on the walls and the one on the right contains old photographs of the Jioio family from the 30's - 50's. Depending on my mood, I usually prefer one over the other on any given day. Dining rooms are scattered with patrons with there families, couples dining in their sweatpants or real-tree camo just coming back from hunting whitetail deer. (yes, i have seen it). It is the type of place where anyone a little cosmopolitan or different causes the needle to scratch the record to a halt. You people watch and they watch you back, which is sorta like a queer staring contest of sorts. The cantina scene in Star Wars would be a fair comparison. Uncomfortable with the dagger eyes from this 300lb. bearded woman wearing a floral print mu-mu, you glance down at your menu. There are salads (which are of the small town iceberg lettuce, white onion and tomato wedge variety), pasta dishes, pizzas, and the drinks available are pop and beer. Beer comes by the glass or by the pitcher and Latrobe's own (bought out by A.B. and moved) Rolling Rock is on tap. Pizza. Ahhh the pizza. It is unlike any other. Jioio's prepares something so unique that it can be categorized as an appetizer, dessert, main course, and snack. Speaking of their plain: Jioio's starts off with a foundation of sweet pie crust dough--this makes the pizza thin, crisp, and gives it that flaky texture. A very thin amount of tangy and sweet sauce goes on next. Finally the browned and bubbly cheese blankets the sauce. Toppings are standard small-town; onions, green peppers, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms. I usually go with one plain and one white. The pizzas here are rectangular and due to the astonishing crust, the corner slices are prime real estate. Biting in is a shock if you are expecting something, something meaning anything from what you have learned about pizza thus far. It is sweet, salty, savory, and mmmmm.... It is at this point that you will find out what side of that aforementioned line in the sand you stand on. Finally, Jioio's is the most durable pizza I have ever met and perhaps that is due to its pie crust and lower moisture content giving it super structural integrity. It reheats, freezes, good room temp., and even good cold (note: i don't like any other pizza cold). A good friend & fellow pizza fiend, Ryan, drove 4 hours each way (Baltimore to Latrobe) to get some Jioio's. Upon returning from his pizza quest he said to me, "It would be unfair to call it pizza. It transcends pizza." Please take note that this was not fresh in the restaurant pizza, this was 24-48 hours old, reheated pizza!!! Jioio's draws the line. NOTE: The same for the food could be said about this Greensburg location. However, some of the charm and ambiance is lost here.

I love myself some local cult favorites so while visiting relatives nearby we decided to check out this sweet pizza. I wanted to like it, I really did. And I get the sweet-savory-salty thing the aficionados love. But after eating several squares, both plain and pepperoni, I just can't get behind it. I think it's the richness of the crust which doesn't sit well with me. We also ordered a plate of spaghetti and meatball to try the famous sauce in a simpler habitat but it just didn't work either. Too thin and didn't marry to the pasta correctly. However, the sauce was excellent spooned over the cheesy garlic bread. The staff couldn't have been nicer and I respect the local following, so 3 stars to encourage others to try it. Btw They sell the sauce in jars and the first two ingredients on the label are tomato paste and "meat juices".

Jioio's pizza is one of the best in town. Of course, you have to like a sweeter pizza to be a fan, but who doesn't love something sweet!?! I am not sure which Jioios are affiliated with each other. I know that there is three different Jioio's Pizzas; either way, all of them know how to make a great pizza!! Seriously delicious. I drive over 20mins just to pick this pizza up! Please come open up a pizza place in Harrison City. Not only would I come work for you, I would also be the best customer. Absolutely fantastic.

The thin crust and sweet sauce pizza with brick cheese is simply amazing. Best pizza you can have in the area. Their other Italian offerings aren't bad either. One of the best pizza's I've ever had!

We are truly addicted to this pizza! Once you know that it's supposed to be a sweet pizza then it will become your fav. But...don't only think its only sweet, its also a savory pizza too the salty pepperoni and cheese mixed with the thin crust and sweet sauce are the perfect combination. The flavors compliment each other so much, go try it! Everyone should have this pizza at least once in your life, you'd be missing out if not!!!

i've always heard that the greensburg jioio's is better than the latrobe jioio's. i've never been to the latrobe location so i can't say for sure, but i do love this one. the first time i ever had jioio's i tried the pasta, but to honest that was years ago and i don't remember how it was. after that i tried the pizza and just can't bring myself to get anything else ever. my personal favorite is the white pizza with black olives. a close second is the perogie pizza with saurkraut instead of onions. yes, you heard me, saurkraut subbing in for the onions -- you can do things like that here. they're very accommodating and want to make sure you have the pizza you want. a friend of mine is vegan and asks them to make a cheeseless onion pizza and they usually will. so what makes jioio's pizza stand out? it's sweet, literally. the crust is slightly sweet, as is the sauce. but no, it's not too much, it doesn't taste like dessert, it's just super super yummy. so why not 5 stars, you ask? well, i've noticed the white pizza (yes, my favorite, which is too good to pass up despite what i'm going to tell you) upsets my stomach almost every time. maybe it's the mix of sweet crust and the oil sauce? who knows. also, for a short period of time, jioio's refused to make my friend's vegan pizza. they had for a long time before and do again now, but for a good few months in between, they refused to be accommodating. and my last complaint (believe me when i say, jioio's still deserves a strong 4 stars and i recommend it despite my complaints) is that the regular red-sauce pizza never has enough cheese. it's tasty no matter what but i'm a cheese lover, and especially if you're taking it home to reheat it... extra cheese is definately necessary.

I just LOVE Jioio's Pizza, but it definitely has a taste where you either love it or hate it. It's extremely sweet, the sauce and the crust (which is more like a pie crust, than a pizza crust). It's very thin, sweet, but oh so tasty! Some of the downfalls....it's a bit pricey for what you get, and if are you choosing to eat in, you might have a wait, as it is a small restaurant, not a lot of parking, etc.

  • Christina R.

The most unique and delicious pizza I've ever eaten! It really is one of those things you either love or you hate and do I LOVE it! Think flakey crust, generous toppings, and that amazing sweetness that clashes so perfectly. This is my ONLY pizza destination.

  • Mark Z.

I love Jioio's. Some of these reviews complain about the sweet crust but i'm fairly certain every pizza place and pizza is different in a variety of ways. I would also never go to "Philedlphia" just for a pizza. The square pizza is perfect for parties and the crust is always crisp. I love this place.

  • Maura G.

this is the worst pizza i've ever had in my life. they use pie crust! PIE CRUST! the sauce is extremely sweet, not a lot of cheese. the pizza is a big rectangle, not circular (not a big deal). other than sweetness, there was no taste. we also had the fried sampler which was just as gross. very greasey and soggy. the fried eggplant was the only thing that was crisp, but the coating had way too much parmensean in it-it's all i could taste. i guess if you live around here, you might think this stuff is good (frankly, that might be because your other options suck as well). i come from a land where we have good pizza, so this stuff made me want to barf. if i wanted sweet, i'd eat dessert. pizza should not be sweet. i had a hard time finding good food in this area during my visit and this was just the final straw. come to philly and we will show you what pizza is!

I'm in no way exaggerating when I say that just seeing the profile picture for Jioio's Pizza made my mouth start watering in a way that nothing else here in Pittsburgh ever has. I have never ever craved pizza like I crave this. Extremely thin flaky buttery crust, sweet sauce, browned cheese on top... Oh lord. I know this is very very much a "love it or hate it" pizza, I just happen to want to marry the pizza. That's all... completely normal, right? Truth be told, I'm considering renting a car and driving back to Greensburg right now for a slice of this decadent pizza-gasmic creation.

  • David K.

No pizza will equal this in my mind. I've tried a lot of different "Best pizza in (area)" before, but Jioio's isn't the best pizza in any particular area; it's the best pizza in the world. Seems like a strong statement, and definitely not one that folks wouldn't deny, but I know I'm right. The secret to their success is also the first thing you notice about their pizza: the crust is more like pastry than pizza. However, it's not the only thing they have going for them. I generally order my Jioio's pizza with pepperoni and sausage, and every ingredient used is a step above, and definitely lends something important to the flavor of the pizza. Downsides? No delivery. Expensive. No longer located anywhere close to me. If you eat in, the service is slow, not because the wait staff isn't trying, but because one downside to the quality of a Jioio's pizza is that it takes quite some time to make one. Still, if you're in or near the Laurel Highlands, Jioio's is an experience you must have. Otherwise, you've never had the best pizza in the world.

  • Trish H.

Prices were ok, but after reading the reviews, we expected better. Sauce was VERY sweet, ( i prefer a spicier tangy sauce) portions were good, will likely not return. The pizza was a very thin almost flakey crust that was not finished cooking in the center, and again uses the same sweet sauce that the Ziti had. The desserts are from a cake company and are not in house desserts. They were ok, but obviously not fresh. (they had been refrigerated) I think with soda, meals were around $12 a person.

  • I.E. C.

Jioio's has great, um well I guess you can call it pizza? However, it's better to think of this as dessert. The crust is like a flaky pie crust and the sauce is very sweet. I saw the review where they said it was undercooked and that happens. Hence, I always check the bottom and make sure it's very brown, and if it's not I send it back. The best part is, this pizza tastes amazing cold as well and I don't eat cold pizza. As far as the other food goes there, just do yourself a favor and don't eat it. They use the same sweet sauce of the pizza on the pasta, and for some reason I can't stand it. Additionally, the salads are gross, mainly because of their dressing. So if you stick with their pizza, you'll most likely find yourself returning, craving that yummy dessert pizza.

Jioio's pizza is something that you'll either love or hate. It is also something unique that you should try if your in the Greensburg area. I personally like unique food and while I really love a typical NY style pizza I also savor the buttery crust and sweet sauce on a Jioio's pizza. My family and I love to get Jioio's take out on a Sunday. We order the baked ziti special. You can't beat the price and it's plenty of food to feed 2 adults and 3 children. Throw in a family sized salad and you have a great affordable meal under $20

I was not a fan! As all the reviews say the sauce is sweet, so if that isn't your thing STAY AWAY! Also the pizza was wafer thin. I like my pizza to have some body to it or otherwise it needs to be huge. The pizza's here were neither. The large comes out on about a 13*18 rectangular cookie sheet that is pitch black from what I assume is about 20 years of burnt pizza on it. To sum it up the pizza was neither filling nor tasty.

Jioio's, I love you so much. I have never tried anything but your pepperoni pizza and I never will, for fear of ruining my opinion of you. Why ruin a perfect relationship? My boyfriend hates you, but I will never let him tear us apart. As long as you are still around, I will order entire pizzas and eat them by myself and feel NO shame afterwards. Jioio's, you and your sweet thin crust are my life now.

If you want dessert pie crust with sauce and cheese then this is the place for you. Interesting, but not for me.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
