Love this joint. The burgers are incredible. Put blue cheese on. Always the finest bands! One band in particular, Derryl Perry, came from Nashville. They were exquisite!

Have you ever had a "movie moment" in your life? Well I had one here. A bunch of city kids from Philadelphia had headed out to Grantville for a wedding and the after party was happening at this "happening" joint. Drunkenly we stumbled from one hotel to the other, paid our cover, and entered a world so foreign to us it's amazing we were able to keep our cool. Like a scene out of a movie it felt like the girls walked in, and with that the record screeched and everyone stopped and stared. Did that really happen? No. But a number of gentlemen clad in plaid did tip their stetson's in our direction, the word "darlin'" was floating around quite a bit, and a country singer by the name of Lenny was sitting at the bar with a glass of whiskey flicking off Kyle Busch as he took part in a NASCAR interview. One of the ladies of the bunch muttered "I'm in my own personal hell, I knew it existed, but I never thought this would be it." I on the other hand kind of dug it and grabbed the groom for a few shots at the bar. "When in Rome...:" right? So "Rich Springfield" starts playing up on stage and everyone's going nuts, I mean the dancing going on here was absolutely outrageous. I just thought that line dancing meant that the dance fell to a certain beat in a song and everyone would just kind of fall in suit dancing along. Oh no no, on the contrary it was made known to me that every single song has it's own dance. That just boggled my mind, I mean, I know the Macarena and on occasion I'll get down with the Electric Slide, but this was nothing less than hardcore...it was actually enthralling. I can't comment on the food, but I can say that the drinks were made with love and the employees were so friendly and nice...I mean almost to a fault. Even when the groom's brother-in-law hit his brick wall and looked like he was about to puke everywhere, two gentlemen helped the groom carry him out to the car and made sure he had a glass of water for the road. Strange as it seems, for an environment so far removed from that of the Philadelphia bar scene, this was one of the more entertaining and memorable of my nights out with some of my best friends. Would I visit again? Well, I don't exactly see myself in the Harrisburg area again for anything other than MAYBE a trip to Hershey, if that were to happen I would absolutely stop back here on a Saturday night.

I ate 6 meals here in three days during a work convention. The food was always well prepared and the servers were very friendly. My favorite two dishes were the stuffed chicken breast and the grilled by strip smothered in onions mushrooms and blue cheese. I normally loathe anything peanut butter. But the peanut butter pie here is to die for. Great breakfasts too. I like the cinnamon roll French toast.

Visited the Winners Circle Saloona few weeks ago, which along with The Great American Grille is inside the Holiday Inn in Grantville. Live bands on the weekends and dancing lessons during the week. Fair prices and decent food. We tried the "Build-your-own-burger" 9.00, the italian grinder 9.00 and a Full rack of ribs, 22.00, service took a little bit longer because it started to fill up for a wedding party. It has a strong Western feel to it, two flat screen tvs to watch games and a fully stocked bar. Restaurant.com has gift certificates available.

One of my favorite places! Live bands every weekend. And alot of great ones at that. Laredo, Wanted, American Posse... Great dance floor and very country western in it's decor. Lots of line dancing going on here! They offer free dance lessons Sun Mon Tues and Thurs. Smoke free and clean. Can get really crowded on wed and sat nights. The food is good. I love the ribs, wings and sweet potato fries but the service can be terribly slow.

Service, fried catfish and wings were okay, but plates were small. That's what you can expect for a place out of nowhere. Not a Guy Fieri recommendation there.

Clean and well run place with a pretty good dance floor. The band was ok as was the DJ but I wish they could have played at least one country 2-step. The crowd had a nice family atmosphere with no visible drunks or rowdys. Wine for the wife was weird and no PBR for me so our drinking was kept to one each. For us going out to a night club means a little drinking and dancing of which we got too little of. We have to look for another place when we are in town next.

It's always a pleasure to come home to where you grew up to discover things that were right under your nose. I'm only basing this review on one experience here, but I know if I still lived in the area, this would be a frequent haunt. The Winner's Circle is truly a saloon and country-western bar. The decor screams this fact, and puts you right in the mood to start tapping your toes. The band was excellent- their choices of songs kept people dancing while still giving everyone a chance to slow it down now and then. It's a great place to line dance, even if you don't know how. Everyone there that night was super friendly and willing to help learn the moves. The bar area is large with lots of drinks available. Beer prices are reasonable for being a hotel bar. Despite the location, there were clearly a ton of regulars and locals. I would definitely love to come back to dance, have some drinks, and enjoy Central Pennsylvania.

Being at a bar in a hotel I presumed the normal, overpriced food and drinks. This place is the complete opposite. I travel to Harrisburg frequently for work and have gone here several times. All the food is quality, delicious, and priced reasonably. On Wednesday nights there is wing night (Just over $4.00 for a dozen), which is accompanied by a live band. From looking at the menu advertisements, it seems as if there is a live band a few nights every week. BTW, the wings are awesome. The atmosphere with the band made for a fun night. Beer by the glass is priced normal and they have pitchers for $7.00. For a small bar, they are perfect on TV's. So if you're watching a sports event you won't be anywhere in the bar out of view of a TV. There is a large dance floor with a stage to the left of the bar. There seems to always be line dancing going on at night. Growing up in Philly, I had no idea what line dancing was until I came here for the first time. It seems to be a bunch of people making a bunch of small turns to random country/ hip hop music. They all look miserable but it is amusing to watch. My only complaint about The Winner's Circle derives from the line dancers. The Super Bowl means a lot to the American Culture. About 2/3 of the people sitting at the bar during the Super Bowl were at training for work, so we were already a little shaken up about having to be missing the Super Bowl festivities. When I came down to the bar to watch it, my nerves were settled with all the TV's and also that there was decent audio. About five minutes into the game the line dancers turn on their music (BLASTING). Please Winner Circle, let them have a break one day out of the year! Lastly, all the employees were super friendly and attentive. They definitely make sure you are satisfied with your service. The one bartender (Tim) was great. Very friendly guy, fun to talk to, and took pride in his job (Found out he has worked here for 20+ some years). This bar isn't great because of its convenience, the bar makes itself great.

I'm not a big fan of country music and I'm not a line dancer, but I am married to a line dancer, so I have been to my share of places like this, and I have to say - I like the Winner's Circle. It has good food, great service, and for a country bar, they play pretty good music, though some days are better than others (depends on the DJ). I was also impressed by the etiquette that most dancers display when they are on the floor. And the facility itself is clean and well-maintained. It's a cool little place.
