A very beautiful dining room with some quaint outdoor seating. It sits in a prime location in downtown Gettysburg. The staff were very friendly although our waiter seemed a little distracted. The food was good with large portions. 2 of us had the buffalo chicken salad and it was a unique twist on a classic dish. The 2 other people at it take got the meatloaf and burger both of which smelled good and looked tasty as well. I'd be up for eating here again.

Five of us stopped by for lunch on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The dining area was clean and comfortable. Our server was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was almost empty. The food was okay. Nothing terribly special: Two of us had the Swiss Chicken Wellington; small portion served with a tiny salad. Dressings are clearly not made in house. One of us liked the chicken, the other did not. One of us had the Ham, Turkey & Swiss Grinder served with waffle fries. It was good. Another of us had the Crab Mac and Cheese served with chips. It was good. The last of us had the Greens with Cranberry and Gorgonzola. She added the Grilled Chicken. The salad was fine. The dressings are nothing special. The grilled chicken didn't arrive until most of us were finished eating and it was not cooked fully. In fact, it was raw in the middle. The restaurant is part of a hotel and the restroom is in the hotel, quite a walk from where we were seated. Probably won't be back to try this one again.

Dinner on a Friday evening ... was hesitant to go, because reviews were not very good, but every other restaurant had at least a 45 minute wait. One Lincoln is nice, clean and has a very pleasant atmosphere. The service was good, and our meals were delicious! My husband had the pork and polenta, and I had the beef and crab cake. The beef was juicy and tender, and the crab cake one is the best I've ever had! I would highly recommend this restaurant, and would definitely go back!

Food wasn't bad but service was horrible. Was not busy...Food took forever to come out, wife's meal was missing, had to ask for napkins and utensils.

Had a delicious dinner, our first night in Gettysburg. My husband had the scallops with shrimp succotash, which was outstanding! Jumbo dry scallops, seared to perfection, stuffed with delicious crabmeat, atop the shrimp succotash which was a combination of corn, lima beans, diced zucchini, a bit of pimento and mixed with mashed potatoes. Outstanding! I had the duck breast with apple and raisin sauce, served with fingerling potatoes, fresh green beans and carrots. Full of flavor and prepared perfectly tender. I highly recommend this restaurant for dinner. The only improvement would be to dim the lights. We found the lighting too bright. Our waiter, Nicholas was engaging, informative and attentive.

Very disappointing, especially for the price! Food is just bleh, also almost no vegetarian options. The "house salad" was basically iceberg lettuce that looked and tasted like it came out of a discounted freezer bag. Our server was not very knowledgeable and couldn't quite pronounce everything on the menu properly...

As a hotel guest, this restaurant has been a convenient choice a few times (Sept., 2012 & May, 2013). Even though it's convenient, I don't think I'll be going back. The food was mediocre and over-priced both times. Although the service was decent, the food tastes like it's from processed foods rather than fresh, if that makes sense. I had a pasta dish in May. The menu description wasn't very complete (had I known it had pimiento I never would have ordered it) and it was DROWNING in a bland sauce -- more like a soup than sauced pasta. The creme brulee we ordered for desert was kind of gritty, though the carmelized crust was OK. Can't say as I would willingly eat here again, though the hotel itself is OK (probably a Yelp 3- to 4-star place).

I'm reviewing this just for THE TAKE-OUT salad I bought! The Pub was closed! My husband and I were heading north towards Niagara Falls and wanted a salad to go, to eat in the car. This is the only one that's open, so I walked in. We passed here last night, so I'm glad that the salad came from here! I was the only one inside, but I was greeted right away, and @ the same time, the server helped me, and took my order and went out back to fix it right away. I didn't think I waited very long! It was VERY GOOD, the spinach was huge, and there were enough for 2! The server mis-informed me, that this was part of the Gettysburg Hotel!

The food and prices are decent, but the service is awful. We visited a few times and service was slow every time. It once took 30 minutes for our lunch to arrive, despite being one of only a handful of diners. Unfortunately, we ended our amazing wedding weekend on a sour note at One Lincoln. After being told that we could not make a large reservation for our guests for breakfast, we encouraged them to come early and be seated in smaller groups. Imagine our surprise when we arrived before 9 am on a Sunday to find that half of the restaurant was out of service, as they were reserving the tables for a party of 20 later that morning. Instead of trying to accommodate us and our guests, all of whom were hotel guests that weekend, the staff was rude and unhelpful. One of the servers nearly ran over my 91-year-old grandfather, instead opting to yell at him to move. It was embarrassing for my family. When my husband and I return on our future anniversaries, we will avoid this place at all costs.

Had two breakfasts One Lincoln this weekend. Food was ok. This was our second visit while vacationing. The decor is sophisticated. There were three or four young girls there in charge. One girl dropped dished on the floor trying to juggle too much in her two hands. One of the servers juggled three plates with food on them by carrying one plate up her arm and anchoring it with her stomach! Really! Food was delivered on serving trays from the kitchen, why don't they deliver the food to the table on this same tray! These girls were all nice but need educated in service of an upscale eatery as compared to a fast food joint.

The banana pancakes are the only reason this place deserves 4 stars. Potatoes were hard and the eggs tasted like McDonalds eggs. Had to remind the waitress 3 times that we wanted coffee. If you're in the mood for amazing pancakes, come here. Skip everything else.

Worst restaurant ever! I would give it a negative rating if I could. Restaurant wasn't busy yet it took over 45 minutes to get a cup of soup, two kids chicken platters, a monte cristo and a tiny order of Mac and cheese. Waitress never refilled drinks or even checked on us, and we had to ask where our food was. My son's chicken was raw!!!!! Disgusting. Thank goodness we cut it up or who knows if he would have realized. My children were supposed to get ice cream with their meals; they never got it. We spoke to the manager who was dressed like a slob so no wonder the service is the way it was.

Awful service. Food was mediocre. Went there in the middle of the afternoon with my family and another family we are good friends with (total 4 adults and 4 kids). The waitress seemed very bothered that we were there. She came over a total of three times (took our order, gave our food, gave the check). She did not ask if we wanted drinks, provided 2 glasses of water. Gave the check when we were still eating (never did they ask if we wanted anything else). The kids meals came with ice cream (they never got it). My wife complained when we paid that we are customers and were not treated nicely. They did not seem to care and could wait to get us out. Note: the kids (all under 4) were well behaved.

We were staying at the Gettysburg hotel and decided to have breakfast here on our first morning in town. Bad move. Service was slow, the chicen fricasse had no flavor, my over-medium eggs were not, and we won't be back.

I have eaten at this location many times when it was McClellans and gave it two tries since it renovated to "One Lincoln". Unfortunately I won't be giving "One Lincoln" a third visit. Food was much, much better when it was McClellans and the new decor just isn't appealing. Much better places to eat or drink within a block of this location.

Not quite sure why the mediocre reviews. I went here 2 days in a row for lunch. Unlike another review, the prices weren't outrageous at all...actually very good for the portion and quality of food. The first day I had a craving for a burger and it didn't disappoint. It was juicy and tasty...and the fries were excellent. The second day I had a cobb salad without the egg. It was large and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. I'll go back here without a doubt the next time I'm in Gettysburg!

I don't think I've ever rated a restaurant this low before. But, in short, this meal and the service were just plain awful. Firstly, the waitress plopped down out unsweetened iced teas without sweetener. That's pretty much a given for me. I know some people drink iced tea plain, but I don't think that's the norm. Then arrives the watered down onion soup, with some sort of cheese that stunk like feet. Already expecting the worst we got it. I got a chopped salad, which was large, but was supposed to come with marinated chicken, and vegetables, but instead came with bagged salad mix, chopped, unseasoned deli chicken, and more chickpeas than I can express. And, to clinch it, watered down balsamic dressing. Really???? My mom got a watered down version of chicken pot pie, again unseasoned. It was milky chicken with celery and lima beans. Gross! We ate what we could, and made the best of it, knowing that the unprofessional staff wouldn't know what to with a complaint, but we will NEVER be going back there again. Did I mention that the iced tea tasted like plastic?

Had dinner back in Jan 2012. I had The crab dip and it was not good. The crab cake I had for dinner was fair. I won't be back. It's just not worth it.
