Wanted to have a better dinner after a long day of visiting the battlefield. Found this place on Yelp and the family decided of the options around the area this was the best. Location is a little outside the usual Gettysburg tourist area, but reasonably easy to find. We were quickly seated and the wait staff was friendly. Restaurant has a decent amount of seating and an interesting decour.. They serve Coke products and have Mr. Pibb! We ordered at wide range of dinners including Baked Stuffed Shells, Chicken Sandwich w/French Fries, Ravioli, and Spaghetti w/Meat Sauce. Pre-meal salads were fresh and delicious and I usually do not like salads. Bread was good, served with a mixture of herbs/spices and olive oil. Main courses were delicious; the Baked Stuffed Shells looked small at first but ended up being a large portion. Chicken Sandwich was huge and French Fries were well prepared and delicious. The Spaghetti could have had more sauce, but that's a personal preference. Prices were reasonable for a family of four out to dinner. Absolutely worth a stop if you're looking for a quality meal in the Gettysburg area.

Well I read all the reviews and thought 4.5 stars should be something to try---and I played it safe with a cesear salad and a 3 cheese pizza. Three cheeses were suppose to be Parmesan, mozzarella, and cheddar. What I got was a DISASTER! There was mozzarella, PROVOLONE, and nacho cheese product. I am not exaggerating because I spoke with the owner and he confirmed the cheddar was the same stuff they put on philly cheese steaks--really? It tasted like Cheez-wiz--"cheese product" in a jar for those who don't know what that is. I doubt they serve this in Italy or any real Italian restaurant. The crust was nothing to savor either. The owner did agree to make another pie but after the 1/2 slice I did eat, my stomach said stop! The place was busy but after this experience I would say try somewhere else.

Best pizza in Gettysburg and pasta very good too. Beer selection is outstanding (see pic) but no wine. You can bring your own and they will open it and supply glasses, and best deal is NO CORKAGE FEE. Service here is friendly and owner Giovanni is on site always and makes this place the best restaurant for the money in the tourist town that has so many high priced poor places to eat. I've never had a bad meal here, menu is massive, Italian dishes consistent and an occasional steak not bad either. Try the "Mussels Mediterranean" for appetizer if you are a mussel fan, standard mussels marinara are excellent too. This place is always packed so make reservations or plan to wait on weekends.

This is the second time we've been here. It wasn't as good as last time. We had the bruschetta appetizer which was great. The pizza bread was soggy. They did try to accommodate our vegan in the group which we appreciated. Three of us had shrimp and pasta ( pommodoro, fra diablo and parmigiana ) the sauce has great flavor but the pasta isn't drained enough so,you get a puddle on the plate. Also the shrimp have an old frozen shrimp taste to them. But my two big complaints of the evening were the leaving the tails on the shrimp. I hate that. Shrimp parmigiana with tails on them is messy and annoying. The second was the fact that they added a 17% tip on a party of four check without any mention at any time I leave a much bigger tip than that and almost double plus tipped. Be aware of this and check when the bill comes

Great Alfredo. Good pizza. Good sauce. Cheese steak Stromboli was good too. And the Italian trio was a bit small. The service was outstanding! Family owned.

My boyfriend and I ate at La Bella yesterday and absolutely loved it. Everything was delicious, especially the mussels. You can tell a lot of love, pride and tradition goes into their recipes. Everyone was very friendly, too. Will always make a point to visit La Bella whenever I'm in or near Gettysburg.

Maybe a true 2.5 star Was staying down the street at a hotel and wanted carry out for myself. Rest of family was fine. Drove by several times and saw location plus heard "the buzz" about how good it is. Went in not 100% sure what I wanted - a pizza or maybe a nice Italian dish. The guy at the counter was lacking customer service skills for his demeanor to me was a little bit standoffish. I settled on manicotti and a cannoli. Two true Italian dishes that should be able to show the true culinary talent of this establishment. The manicotti was good. But I have had better elsewhere. Ample amount of cheese on it but just a little light on the pasta sauce. It included choice of Caesar or toss salad - I chose the later. It was fine. Was fresh and the blue cheese dressing was ok. But once again I have surely had better. The sauce they use isn't anything that great. Kinda sugary and a Kraft can from the grocery store is just as good. True bummer. Now to the cannoli. I do not know who designed their particular filling recipe but it sure was not what I expected. Didn't notice any ricotta cheese, mascarpone, vanilla in it. No pistachios or chocolate chips to add flair to its presentation. Just a major disappointment when most of it went into the hotel's fridge only to be tossed into the trash the following day when we checked out. My point behind this review is this.... Sometimes what you read on the cover isn't what you get in the book! Don't get me wrong, the place isn't awful. Neither is it great. It's just average in my opinion for whatever my opinion is worth. I'm not trying to dissuaded you from going here. Just want to give you my 2 cents worth. Finally - when doing take out, ask for utensil. Apparently they do not see the need to automatically include a set in your bag. I just so happened to check at the counter & had another awkward encounter with the staff. When I could not find any utensils I spoke up and asked. The young man sorta said "we don't include utensil with to go orders, you need to ask." Sorta a strange thing to do if you ask me. Oh well.....

Since I've first visited this place, I have altered my view a bit. I made the mistake of visiting it by the light of day and realized what I had considered rustic ambiance was actually the desperate need for a paint job. The walls are soiled from excessive traffic...or something. The food is still pretty good but the beer is overpriced. I haven't been back a third time.

Make a wide pass around La Bella if you are craving for anything Italian. They do not have a clue. Ordered Veal Parm. They deep fried a veal cutlet and put it on a plate with a handful of over-cooked ziti. They then covered it with a bland tomato sauce. Probably could of had a better Italian dish down the street at Ruby Tuesday. I will give it one star for the beer selection..

  • Rich Y.

Food was below verage. Waiter refused to bring bread until the dinners were served. Waiter was rude. Appetizer was served with the dinner. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere

My mother always said "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." Following what she said, I will say that the Yeungling Bottled Beer was good.

I graduated from Gettysburg College and I make sure to stop in whenever I return to town as they have by far the best pizza in town. Their pasta dishes aren't as good as Mama's but their pizza more than makes up for it. I do enjoy their baked pasta and they make a good chicken parm sub. I ate here for breakfast and dinner the day before winning the Gettysburg Marathon.

This place is amazing. It is one of the best meals I've had in a long time. We spent $80 on dinner the night before, and it didn't even compare to the quality and taste of the food we had here for dinner the following night. I had the baked stuffed shells with a house salad, my husband had a stromboli with pepperoni and sausage. Everything we had was fresh and made to order. The sauce is delicious - I couldn't stop eating the bread or the sauce (which is sweet, red sauce - you can tell it's made from Roma tomatoes and that it's homemade). The salad dressing was my favorite, though - I literally want it injected directly into me it's so delicious. The service we received was outstanding as well. We go to Gettysburg often and will definitely be back.

Call me crazy but if you boast an Italian name, you should have real Italians working there. The food was OK. We had 2 pasta dishes. I asked for Al Dente and it was a little more cooked. The Latino waiter was very nice. While we were paying at the front, one of the waitresses actually put her hand into a container of croutons and placed them on a salad. She wasn't wearing a glove! Who knows what else they get away with.

Had a quick dinner after visiting the battlefields in Gettysburg. La Bella Italia provides a value meal with large portions. Our two entrees could have been shared with a third person. Our order of baked lasagne and baked ziti came with salad and basket of warm bread. The menu is expansive. Service was attentive. Total damage with tax, before tip was $30. La Bella Italia is a worthy consideration for visitors to Gettysburg.

Huge menu, friendly staff. Being a foodie, I usually go for large portions. This time I went for the 12" sub (the smaller version) and took half back to the hotel. Philly with an order of fries was delicious. The bread with the olive oil and herbs also damn good. They even sold beer in 6 packs, that kind of humored me.

  • Pam R.

We love to stop here for dinner when we are in the Gettysburg area! The food is incredible! The sauce is homemade and very delicious.

    (5)
  • Kelly M.

Quick and friendly service. Huge portions! Skip the spaghetti (sauce tastes like the inside of a can), but order a pizza to share with friends. Great beer selection, but they do not serve wine.

    (3)
  • Sam S.

Great pizza, some of the best I've ever had. The last time I was here was 3 years ago and I still think about the pizza till this day

  • H B.

Good pizza. Friendly service. We had a large group with many kids that showed up on late notice. They sat us promptly and provided great service. Although the BYO wine is an inconvenience if you don't know ahead of time, bringing your own wine can reduce the cost of dinner.

  • Rob R.

Dined with a total of 6. When food was delivered mine was missing and was told it was coming. When everyone else was finishing their meal, we went and asked where my food was (waiter never returned after initial food delivery) At this time I was told they forgot to make it, but was almost done. No apology other than "sorry about that". When the bill came my item was on the bill at full price. If you deliver food after everyone else has eaten, some type of compensation should have been made. The food is always good, but not always the service.

Worst place for dinner.. not sure what the good reviews are about. Only good thing about this place was the byoWine. When we pulled up I was a little excited being it was packed. Thats usually a good sign till our food came... it should really be listed as a dinner cuz the food was like I said diner food. I'm italian so I know italian this place by far is diner italian food... what a waste of taste buds... by far the worst italian food ever... maybe good for a pizza place but dinners lol...

    (1)
  • Jason M.

Pizza was extremely greasy, so cheese is probably very low quality. Salad was not very good either. But if you are going for quantity over quality, the portions were huge.

  • Kim H.

Excellent Food, great service. We always stop in when we are visiting Gettysburg. Excellent Italian cuisine, very reasonable portions and not expensive at all. The interior is nice and cozy as well.

Great Italian food! Their Full House large pizza is my favorite in town. Great atmosphere and carry out beer selection as well.

  • Jessica H.

Not a lot of great food in Gettysburg, but this place is good and we never would have found it (touristing) if it weren't for Yelp! We walked, and yes, it's walking distance from "downtown" if you don't feel like driving, though I didn't get the sense this part of Gettysburg generally sees a lot of pedestrians. The decor was flamboyant "italiano," kind of like Olive Garden, in a sort-of-kitschy and also energetic and enthusiastic way. We got a pizza and salads, and it was all good. Friendly service and lots of locals and their families. I recommend.

    (4)
  • Joseph P.

Horrible, horrible service. Sub-mediocre, half cooked food rushed out of the kitchen to turn tables over quickly. Pizza worse than Dominos. If they tried to get away with that pizza in Brooklyn, they'd be run out of town! Stingy subs. Place takes reservations but doesn't seem to honor reservations once made. NEVER AGAIN. Left a $0 tip on a $60 bill and never felt better about it!

The reviews were great, but we were so disappointed. We went to Labella Italia on Saturday, August 10, 2013. The place was cute, and not in the main part of Gettysburg, so we went here so it wouldn't be terribly busy. We sat ourselves, as was indicated on the sign, and a waiter came over with menus and took drink orders. We ordered sodas, and took a few minutes with the menu before noticing a considerable amount (15+) of flies on the chandeliers in the area with the booths. We debated whether to still order, and a fly flew right at my eye. My husband went to the front to get change to pay for our two drinks, and I wish I would have just told the waiter why we were leaving, but I was so disgusted, I just said we had an emergency and had to go. We left the $5 on the table and left immediately. We would definitely not return, and we didn't even get to try the food...

Visiting the local college, we chose this place based on reviews. This place is a pizza joint and the reason I am giving it only two stars is the pizza (at least the Neopolitian type) was not good at all. The sauce had a strange taste and I would swear that the cheese was not mozzerella. The place is old and looks like it is from the 70s, the kind of place I would visit when I was in high school. If I find myself in Gettysburg again, I will try someplace else.

The atmosphere and service in this adorable restaurant were fabulous! Caesar salad - delish! Bread yummy! Pasta delightfully al dente! I would only ask that the food be a bit better seasoned.

We found Labella Italia on Yelp and pulled off the highway in the midst of a 12 hour roadtrip for dinner. We'll be stopping through Gettysburg from now on. The food was amazing. Fresh, made-to-order, and entirely delicious. I had the chicken scallopini, my husband had rotini with garlic/oil, and our friend had the chicken marsala. Delicious, delicious, delicious. Valentina was our server; she helped us order and made sure we were back on the road in excellent time. The staff was friendly and fun to be around.

Our meal was below average. The one positive was the buffalo wings--they were excellent! The italian food, on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. We all had classic dishes. I had spaghetti with sausage, my wife had chicken parm and my daughter had penne with meatballs. My spaghetti was way overcooked but the real failure was the sauce. My 8 year old daughter, who happens to be a bit of sauce expert, said after her first bite, "Dad the sauce has no flavor!". She was right. It was very bland and way too sweet. It tasted like they took crushed tomatoes out of a can, added a bunch of sugar and served it. There were very few herbs if any or garlic that i could taste and it didn't seem like it had been simmered at all. To be honest it was probably the worst sauce I've ever had at an italian restaurant. To add insult to injury, this restaurant doesn't serve wine-just beer. It's a good beer selection to be sure, but this is an italian restaurant not a sports bar!!! On the plus side we enjoyed the atmosphere. They did a nice job making it feel classic "italian". Also, our waitress was very friendly and efficient. We noticed another italian restaurant downtown but chose this one because of the reviews--big mistake.

Dinner in Gettysburg is alway an interesting experience. The service was great but the food was so-so. Not too bad to bring your family on a quick bite and then hit the battlefield for an amazing American experience. Happy 4th of July!!

I know this place has A LOT of fans--the parking lot is always full--but I have to say it's pretty over-rated. I've gotten food poisoning twice after eating here.... The beer selection is great though!

Really good pizza. Staff friendly and very welcoming. Open till 10pm which is a real find in gettysburg. Employees went out of their way to talk about the town and make us feel at home. Would definitely come back and recommend.

  • Wanda S.

Spaghetti was way over priced and terrible tasting. Complained to the staff but they charged us full price for a meal we couldn't eat. Didn't offer us anything else in exchange for poor food.

    (1)
  • Michael F.

I've eaten here multiple times over the past couple of years and never been disappointed, but I stick to what they do best; pizza, stromboli and calzones. The Stromboli and calzones are huge; order a small unless you are planning on taking some home or have a large party. Make sure you ask for extra sauce when you order.

My best friend and I were on our way home from our road trip when we decided to get dinner. I accidentally made a wrong turn and ended up seeing this place. When we stopped at a restroom, I used my Yelp app to see what users had to say about this place and decided to get dinner here. It was DELICIOUS! The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was attentive and courteous. I ordered the eggplant parm and was pleasantly surprised. I thought the eggplant was going to be too greasy but it turned out to be just right. My friend had the tortellini in an alfredo sauce. She made a complaint when it first came out about how small it looked for it's size, but she tried it and said it was heavenly. Her father ate the leftovers when we got back home into Jersey 3 hours later and devoured them. If I ever end up back in Gettysburg I will stop by again for a delicious meal!

all the food was tasty-house salad, caprese salad, shrimp scampi, chicken tenders and fries. service was good and pricing was fair. if you're looking for Italian around Gettysburg I suggest this place.

  • Scott A.

The decor was a unique. The host and waitstaff were very friendly. The selection was a bit better than your standard Italian restaurant. The food was good to very good. The owner is from Sicily some of the owners family works in the restaurant as well. I ordered the cheese ravioli (very good) with a side of meatballs (good). The marinara sauce which came with them was also very good. My wife ordered the penne pasta with a garlic/olive oil sauce and she said it was good. The guys at the neighboring table loved their pizza.

Today was our third trip to Labella Italia. We have been impressed during each visit. The service is always quick and the prices are reasonable. I'm a huge pizza lover and their Philly pizza is the best I have ever eaten.

    (5)
  • Glen W.

Great Place. I just had 2 slices of pepperoni pizza (they sell by the slice) but it was good and service was fast. Clean restaurant with courteous staff. Reasonably priced too :)

    (4)
  • Aja A.

I prefer La Bella's to Mamma's. It is less expensive and the food is better. The service depends on the current population of high schoolers in the area. They recently re-did this place so it is nicer/bigger than it used to be but very " with our frescoes and strange nets hanging with fake foilage from the ceiling, don't you feel like you're in tuscany?!"...in the decor department it just tries too hard. But the pizza is really good. The best you'll find in the area. And the rest of their menu is standard Italian, although it can't hold a candle to Al Tiramisu in Dupont. But it is a tiny little town--what do you want tonight, Perkins, Ruby Tuesdays, or a restaurant owned by Italians? I think the choice is obvious...

  • Rick K.

Visited after hiking the Appalachian trail with a group of hungry adults and teens. The waitress was entertaining and helpful, the servings were large and the flavors were great. We had two Sicillian pizzas and a medium calzone. The calzone crust was perfect, crispy on the outside and the filling was fresh and flavorful. The filling wasn't soggy like some calzone's we've had. We'll go back next time we're in Gettysburg.

    (4)
  • Moe G.

The battlefield guides may tell you that the Battle of Gettysburg began because the Army of Northern Virginia invaded in search of shoes for the troops....I personally think Lee and the rebs were fixin' to get their hands on some of that Pesto Pie at La Bella. That's a slice worth goin' to war over. Our very friendly waitress explained that WINE was BYOB because Pennsylvania legislators have some strange ideas about the distribution of grape-based alcoholic products in the fair state of Pennsylvania. But they have a pretty extensive selection of bottled beers on the menu, so no harm, no foul. Very good pasta and pizza at very reasonable prices.

  • Robert B.

OMG! The pizza here is great. FYI- the medium sicilian can feed you for days so be forewarned. The pasta dishes also deserve favorable mention. Overall I would say this is probably the best italian restuarant in town.

  • Ed P.

I agree with Aja about the faux Tuscany decor, but what I like even less is how noisy the restaurant is! When they're busy, which is every time I've been there, you can't easily carry on a conversation or hear the waiter. On the plus side, their lasagne is very good, and I appreciate that the owners let you bring your own bottle of wine. Good food at good prices. A solid three stars, though I'd give 'em a four if it were quieter.

  • Bridget H.

On a busy Memorial Day weekend, I stopped here with my boyfriend for lunch (picked it based on Yelp reviews.) We split a medium calzone -- definitely big enough for two! It was yummy - cheese was melty and great, and the spinach was nice, whole leafs (not pre packaged chopped up stuff). The crust was perfect - not too doughy and a nice crisp on the outside edges! Definitely worth recommending - good food, friendly people, reasonable prices, and a nice, clean place to eat!

  • Cari M.

Great classic Italian food. We ordered, salad, baked Ziti and the Veggie Stromboli. Both were generous proportions, seasoned with fresh herbs and delicious. Friendly and prompt service. Perfect place for traditional Italian. Atmosphere is casual and it's on the louder side, so great for groups or families not so much for a date or romantic dinner. Proportions are large , many could be shared.

  • B. S.

My FAVORITE pizza place in the area. We love the meat lovers on the thinner crust. The pasta dishes are a bit pricy, but the pizza is so good that it doesn't matter. I love that the sauce has a lot of flavor. Around here a lot of the pizza tastes like plain tomato paste has been used. Our service there has always been great.

    (4)
  • Ingrid H.

Great atmosphere, quick service, and friendly staff. We only ate off of the sub menu but would recommend that two people could split a 18" sub and side (sides aren't with the sandwiches). The prices were reasonable, especially considering there size.

I found a growth of gray mold on a cooked tomato in my entree. When I talked to the manager about it he denied my finding and proceeded to be rude to me. I told him I was going to complain about it on yelp and he said he didn't care because he had plenty of customers.

  • Kari B.

OMG!! So very very good!!! The place was very nice. Staff was very pleasant. The food amazing!!! My son had there pizza and looked so good and was huge for a child's pizza. My other son had there spaghetti as did I and was so so delicious!!! The bread and oil dip was very good. My husband had their veal parmesan and he said it tasted so good that it reminded him of a place back home that has since closed! I totally recommend this place for out of towners!!!!!

I'm a local and have been coming to this restaurant since the beginning! I'm not a huge fan of pasta...or any Italian food, but I LOVE this restaurant. Their bread is amazing ! Last time, I ordered the mussels appetizer with orzo and it was amazing!

  • Neil E.

We have ordered pizza and subs here about 6 or 7 times. Only once was our order correct. I called to complain. and after I explained what the problems were was told OK we will get it right next time. HUH?!? There are not a lot of places to eat around here, so we go back. I say we have gotten incorrect orders in the past may I speak to the owner or manager? She says that's OK what's wrong (again I complain..again it's wrong) I used to own resteraunts. I am sorry our order was never offered to us at a discount or free...we have had enough, our friends won't be going there anymore either. Have a nice day...

  • Tim B.

Very good food! Got the meat pizza Sicilian. Pizza was excellent and service was good. There's a 2 dollar charge for sharing plates, and a party of 6 or more can't split the check. Other than that, it's a good choice for Italian pizza.

    (5)
  • Christine W.

I've been a customer here for years and loved the place. Not anymore. I don't know what happened! I asked the server if she had veal (sometimes they don't ). She said yes so I ordered the veal piccata. I don't know what that was but it wasn't piccata. It was wrinkly and swimming in a curry flavored sauce. So okay I'm game. I'll give it a try. Except that I couldn't cut it with my knife. I told the server and she took it away. I waited while she walked past me three times in the course of her duties without communicating at all. After about 15 minutes I walked to the register and told the cashier I wanted to pay and leave. They charged me full price. Th e server came up to the register and tried to tell me and the cashier something. Neither of us understood. I left angry and $23.04 poorer.

Good food. Authentic homemade. Consistently good. Oil and pesto accompanies your bread. They serve bottles of beer, but NO WINE. Major disappointment to not have wine with Italian food.

  • Connie M.

Not a big fan. Came here on a recommendation, wait staff was not very friendly nor did she check back in with us to refill drinks, etc. My husband was talking to her and she turned around and walked away. The pizza was luke warm. Large pizza was good sized tho. Chicken parm was very small. Would not recommend with so many other options close by.

As Gburg Alum, "Bella" was one of my favorite haunts for good pizza. I was born in a self-proclaimed pizza capital, and finding a great pie is quite difficult outside of NEPA. La Bella's pies really do the trick. When I returned for a recent homecoming, I noticed that they completely renovated the place! It looked really great. Can't wait to have another nostalgic slice when I visit again next fall!

The portions were large. The food was adequate but not special. If you are visiting Gettysburg and do not want to leave the town center, this place will do for a meal at the end of a tiring day of sight-seeing.

We have eaten here multiple times and it gets better every time. And that is saying something since it started out delicious. Always fresh and homemade even the salad dressing is perfection. Our favorites are the meat ravioli and the lasagna. My bf, who has been to Italy, says this is the best Italian he has had in the states. Just wonderful! A must eat in Gettysburg!

The server that took our order was very knowledgeable and we took up all his food and beer suggestions, he did not disappoint us! His suggestions were spot on! The lasagna was perfect cheesy and just a tad sweet. My husband ordered the spicy shrimp fettucini which was true to its name-- definitely spicy! and we also enjoyed some local brews that we were able to purchase a six pack to go home with so, score! This place seems like its meant more for the locals to dine at then visitors who want a touristy place so I felt it was a good place to have our last dinner at Gettysburg as we definitely loved being outside at downtown Gettysburg people watching where this location was more far off the main streets.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
