Hilarious. Lindsey from this place wrote a reply calling me uneducated. Lindsey the word is absurd not obsurd. And we did complain to the rude owner about the crappie food and he simply said "don't come back" no problem dude I prefer restaurants where owners shower. There are toothless waitresses. I looks like a nursing home. They have to give free beer to lure people in.

Been here several times over the years to meet a friend since it is about half way between us. Have had breakfast menu and lunch/dinner menu and both are extensive. Yesterday I ordered off the lunch menu and had a cup of soup (chicken corn) and a turkey club sandwich. Both were tasty and quick to come out. The server was pleasant and attentive and most times that has been the case. Nothing fancy here, but that is ok. Usually get lots of food with whatever you order.

Friends who live in the area brought us here. Pleasant, kind of retro place, with a lunch counter, and a dining room. It's clean and bright. The wait staff is friendly and funny with that rural Pennsylvania humor. We had two kinds of soup, and I can't remember what they were, but they were creamy good. My wife had the crab cake, I think. It was good. I had the fish and chips. They were nicely done.

I really wanted to like this place. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. But both things that were ordered at our table left a lot to be desired. Maybe there are other things on the menu that we would have liked better. But my sandwich had a very dry chicken, and the spaghetti was very weird tasting. We ate it, and did not complain, but it needs something to improve. I wish I could report it was a find--often, when I get off the highway and search out something to eat, I am stunned by how much good food is available. Sadly, this was not it. I would not avoid it by any means. Just order carefully--basic things.

Service was good. Ambiance is quaint. My eggs were good. My bacon and breakfast potatoes were well-cooked as I requested. My wife's lasagna was good. Very busy. Though we didn't order it, each person can get 2 free beers per meal! You can also bring your own wine. Coffee was bad. We would come back.

We like the place. Been here several times for breakfast and lunch. Everything we got was always good, fresh, hot, and decently priced. I see a few review that are not as favorable, but my family of four enjoyed the visit. We tended to get breakfast or the wraps for lunch. The staff were attentive and pleasant to deal with. Sundays can be busy, so prepare for a wait. Any time we take 83 to PA from Northern VA, we always make an effort to stop and eat. Give it a try.

Wonderful local family restaurant. Nice selection and very tasty. Especially the homemade desserts. Servers are friendly but sometimes forgetful about the small things like syrup, Straws etc. Nothing a friendly reminder won't fix. It is kid friendly but never loud.

My husband was thrilled as we were visiting his old stomping grounds from 15 years ago. Kids loved their spaghetti and my husband enjoyed his"broasted" chicken. I did not prefer my onion soup as it was extremely greasy. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Service was a bit slow.

First time with the family eating here.... Our waiter (Jeremy) was very knowledgeable of all the meals and desserts. His suggestions and opinions were spot on! Very personable, and eager to assist! Thanks Jeremy! The food was fantastic! The meal portions were huge! Crab cakes were gigantic, not over seasoned and very little filler. Fries were done to perfection. Shrimp bisque was tasty but a tad spicy. Texas Roadhouse steak was thin, very fatty, and slightly over cooked for my preference, but otherwise tasted delicious! The pierogies appeared to be homemade and were nice and crispy. The pickled beets were diced, I wish they were sliced. The chicken corn soup was great! Maybe a little more stuff instead of broth and I'd say it was perfect. Tilapia and chips came out looking amazing. Beer battered and Wrapped in a makeshift newspaper with lettuce and everything. Fish was great, chips were good. The coffee was delicious as well. We took home some dessert but have yet to indulge. I will definitely be going back to try something else! The menu is huge!!

Been here MANY times and have always had a great experience. Extensive menu, fast service, and dazzling broasted chicken. One of the few diner-fare restaurants I've actually driven an hour to get to, and that says a lot. Food is consistent, restaurant is casual and immaculate and the menu has everything you'd expect and lots of surprises too. You won't be disappointed.
