Was pleasantly surprised, who would have thought that hotel food could be so delicious. Will definitely eat here again ! We are staying here at the hotel but it was a local on the bike trail that told us how good the food was . Thanks for the information!!! Service was excellent too !!

Under new ownership this little restaurant located in Quality Inn offers a variety of American style dishes. I went here during Applefest, so they had a condensed menu due to the demand. We were seated immediately and drinks were served immediately. Several waiters and waitresses stopped by our table during the course of the meal to ask how we were doing, including our main waitress. I never felt neglected. The food was served quickly and the portion sizes were hearty, but the food itself was nothing to demand a second visit. The French fries were cold and overly greasy to the point they glistened in the light. The cheeseburger was decent, but underwhelmingly. I wouldn't discourage people from here, but it is not on my list of recommended restaurants in Franklin.

Quick review: food was over-cooked/under-cooked. Service was slow. Don't know their beers. Don't eat here. Extended review: We went here to try something different, but we should have stuck to something we knew was good. The service was incredibly slow, especially since we were only one of three tables that were full. I ordered a beer (it is an ale house after all), and the waitress gave me a different beer from what I ordered THREE different times. I ordered a medium rare steak, which came out well done and way over seasoned. The chicken dish was over cooked and dry and the veal was undercooked. No one ate more than 1/4 of their meal at my table. I would skip this place and head to Dawndi's or McGinnis' instead.

Ate here recently and was pleasantly surprised . The waitress was friendly and helpful and was quick to respond to our party. The salad bar was very good and came with our meals. There is a good selection of beers and the beer I got was cold and crisp. Our meals were very good and we all remarked at the quality. I've eaten here before the restaurant was revamped and the food and service wasn't that good. I was resistive to eating there due to that but relented and was really pleasantly surprised ! We will definite eat there again.
