Only Pizza place I go in the area. Pizza is thick and always fresh. Wait times on Friday or Saturday nights can be long but it's because their so popular. I drive every week to pick this pizza up. I've been in the area a while and these guys are the best.

I walk the line between being interested in trying new things but poor enough that I need to stick to what I know I like. Pizza-wise, for me in Ridley, it's Cocos. I've tried a few others but there's just a certain style of pizza I can't stand and around 60% of the places around here utilize it. I can't even put my finger on it but mostly has to do with the crust. I prefer either big floppy Boardwalk pizza or crispy brick oven. Unfortunately, both of those options are usually more expensive. Did I mention I'm poor? Cocos , with many locations in Delco both meets my needs and budget. However tonight when I tried to order both their phones and website was down which made me choose another. Emilio's has the best reviews around so I used this opportunity to try their spot which is just as close. The first odd thing I noticed when I went to their web page , was that there were prices for everything but pizza. They had a price for 1 specialty pizza for about $13 so I thought I was safe. 3 mediums usually do it for me so I ordered them blind , by phone. I was thinking it would be about $25. Went to pick them up and I have to say that the facility was spotless and the staff very friendly, it was quite possibly Emilio himself that waited on me. But again, I found it odd that even on their board above, pizza prices weren't present. That said, I've never been good at noticing things. I was called up when my order was ready and was surprised to see what looked like 3 large pizzas there. Just a note that their medium seems to be about 16". Many places would call that a large. I also got a little sticker shock when the cost was about $40. I don't really blame Emillios for this. I could have asked more questions about it if I was so worried. I chalked it up to a special occasion for my son graduating Middle School. I got the pizzas home and we dug in. All of us agreed that while they were good, we'd had better for cheaper. This is just a personal preference. I know there are many that love Emilio's but if I'm going to pay $40 for pizza I'm going to get the style I like. While it's not for me and mine, I would recommend it with the above mentioned caution.

Very good pizza! Delivery is a little long but hey, what can ya do? I'm from South Philly and this place is the best I have tasted in Delco.

Nice people. First time in 8 years living in ridley that I tried their pizza. But the pizza is lacking flavor big time. And the pizza crust has a silky texture to it that I can do without for the rest of my life. I guess something is always trying at least once, or maybe not.

Wow, I can't believe no one has reviewed this place yet because it's a fantastic place for pizza. The cost may be a little more than most other pizza joints in the area, but the quality makes it worth it. Try chicken on your pizza. It's well seasoned and has a good flavor. We usually get chicken and mushrooms. I don't know much about the other toppings because we ordered this the first time and it was so good, we always get the same thing! However, don't get the spinach. It tasted frozen and not fresh and overpowered the other flavors of the pizza. Not only is the pizza good, but the guy who runs it is super nice and friendly, and will remember you! What more could you ask for at a pizza place? Great pizza + great service! I have been back many times and will continue to do so! *Note* There are a couple tables if you want to eat inside, but this place is small, so it's mostly for take-out.

I will never go here again the pizza isn't that good and it takes a life time for delivery. No pizza is worth waiting 1:45 for.

Pizza was ok. Topping was awful. I got hamburger as a topping. It's that same processed, hamburger meat you see at Dominoes or Papa John's. It comes pre-cooked in a frozen bag. I remember it well from the lunch room at school. Again, the pizza itself is good, but please, if you're going to offer hamburger as a topping - brown up some ground beef. Don't buy that packaged frozen nasty crap that Dominoes throws on there. If I want that, I'll just order dominoes for a much better price.

So I've heard quite a bit of hype regarding this place. Apparently this is the same guy from Pizza Villa (which I never liked). I ordered 2 pizzas for delivery - 1 hour and 15 minutes later I received them. One plain and one pizzaz. The pizzaz was pretty tasty; white pizza with a couple different cheeses and sliced tomatoes. The plain was blah. The crust is nothing special, on the thick side, the sauce is good but I'll bet you 20 bucks that you'll find a giant can of Don Peppino's sauce in the kitchen. All in all, not the worth the $24 or the wait time.

I've been having Emilio's ever since I was a little kid, so over 30 years now! But of course back then it was Pizza Villa in Southwest Philly!! They have the freshest ingredients and the pizza is amazing!! My husband particually likes their sausage and I love their white spinach pizza! Their crust is good - not the cripiest but still very very good! If it was possible, I would eat here every day of the week!! Best Pizza by Far!!!!!

I'm looking for a good DelCo pizza not too far from home. Based on the reviews I thought I would give this place a try. I'm not super impressed by the pie here. The crust is too thick and not chewy. There was plenty of sauce and cheese but there was no flavor - no seasoning -- think salt, pepper, and oregano -- for starters. Not my style of pie. It's thin or Sicilian - no in between. This pie is large for $13.50 or so. Pie aside, the folks here are very friendly and polite. There are three small tables inside to eat in but it was quite warm inside on this warm day. If you need to wait for your pie, you can watch the pies spin in circular spinning oven or the television above the soda case near the door. Park in front and exit through the alley to the rear, turn right and turn right on 420 north to get back on MacDade.

I'll give Emilio some props. Although I am loyal to my Glenolden pizza places, and don't often come to Ridley Township to get my pizza, of all of the Ridley places I've tried, Emilio's is one of the better places. They're bigger and thinner slices but not too thin. Probably a little thicker than Italian Delight if you know what I'm talking about. There's a lot of pizza in this area, and Emilio has competition right next door. But they hold up well for this area.

Eh, the pizza is okay. They told me an hour and fifteen minutes for pick up, which is crazy, and when I showed up after an hour the pizza was cold. The fried mushrooms tasted "odd". Still in search of decent pizza in Delco.

We stopped here 10 minutes before closing on a road trip home to Allentown, absolutely starving. The owner was so kind, I'll never forget him. He gave us all his leftover pizza for free and kept his restaurant open late for us. The restaurant itself is beautifully done up with columns and cavalcades. I wish I hadn't been too tired to take photos. The pizza couldn't have been better: we had a variety of Sicilian slices. Wonderful place, wonderful owner.

I've been looking for a decent pizza place in this area. I think I finally found it. MUCH better pizza than Venice and other places I've ordered from. Can't wait to try out their steaks and other items.

So far this is the best pizza that I've tried in Delco. A friend brought a pie over with steak topping. What a nice surprise...finally a decent pizza in Delco. I also had the french fries. They are the nice big fat steak fries....sooooo good! Can't wait to try the onion rings...

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
