OK, I'm a DelCo kid, and DelCo is the king of the cheese steak and hoagie (only tourists go to Pat's and Geno's and they suck anyhow). You don't go to a great steak house and order chicken, so why would you go to a place known for fresh roasted turkey sandwiches and order a cheese steak? Duh. Start out with the standard: a fresh roasted turkey sub (yes, they are from Delaware where 'sub' is the acceptable term, deal with it). I'm a purist so I get it with mayo, american cheese, lettuce, tomato and pickles S&P and oregano. I have to stop myself from eating the whole thing. It's freaking delicious, period. The first time I had one, I was borderline obsessive. I think I had three in three days. So you're feeling adventurous... and famished? Because you have to be hungry to put a dent in the Bobbie. It's thanksgiving on a roll. All the ooey, gooey goodness that you love on a plate, not so neatly contained on a roll. And it freakin' rocks! Get the works: stuffing, cole slaw, cranberry. Get it all. if you die after you eat it, you will die happy. The Capastrami? Another winner. The pastrami is nice and spicy, cut thin and not all fatty. Best bet? Go with a friend, order two different sandwiches (one being a turkey or a Bobbie) and split it. It's the best of both worlds and I think it's illegal to leave Capriotti's without something turkey. It's not a hoagie joint. They have them, and for Delaware, they're fine. It's a turkey joint, so order the turkey and move on into turkey nirvana. Oh, and one other thing... the place is CLEAN! Spotlessly clean. You gotta love clean, right?

It would stand to reason that since I gave their Springfield location 5 stars based solely on the quality of the Bobbie sandwich alone, I'd have to give this location the same benefit as long as they taste the same. Well, they do. So here you go. Honestly, I personally won't order anything else from here. MacDade Blvd has enough hoagies and cheesesteaks to choose from for me to start getting those here. Not that I have anything against them, I just don't need to. But that Bobbie is unique enough and tasty enough that I can definitely make Capriotti's a regular stop for those alone. They're that addicting to me. If you don't know what they are yet, just go there and find out for yourself. By the way, as far as service quality and general look of the store goes, no complaints. Everyone there was extra friendly, much more friendly than you get at some of the local take out places.

The menu is limited but the rolls were fresh and the meat was fresh. The staff is very friendly. The sandwich i had was pulled turkey, cranberry and stuffing. It had a very good taste and was filling (12"). The only downside was that the sandwich was not warm. Cold turkey (roasted turkey not lunch meat) is not my favorite. I would eat here again but would try something else.

The usual fare at this Delaware original chain outlet. We ordered 2 Capastramis and two Bobbies. Both met the usual Capriotti standards. It's nice to have one closer to home.

Heard ALOT of great things and couldn't wait for this place to open....ugh totally disappointed with the cheesesteaks...too many other great sandwich shops in Ridley , I'll pass on Capriotti's.
