Just arrived in town and found this jewel! Good atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service and great food. I had the wings to start, perfectly crispy and smoking hot! Very tasty. Had the pork chop for dinner. Big, juicy and seared in a sweet glaze. Great meal with a good draft selection. This may be my regular place while I'm in town.

It has no ambience if that's what you're looking for but has amazing food. The Manhattan clam chowder was the best I have ever had and the 20.99 12oz New York strip rivaled Shula's. Fresh cut fries were amazing. Nothing bad about this place. Great menu, great staff, and proximity to I-78. We will come back!! Loved it.

Nice place. Food is definitely better than any chain eatery. Our server was really friendly and attentive the entire time. Could step it up a little with the housekeeping, dust on the ceiling fans and a light out in the bathroom. Food was good and the portions were plenty big enough. Would come her again.

The food is always good. They have music and great service. I like the prime rib. Today they ha a crabby Swiss soup that rocked. The waitress suggested a Irish coffee which was exactly what I needed. Excellent!!

I just moved to this area and this is a great find. I stumbled upon it and it's my go to place for great sandwiches and the BEST onion rings! I wish they'd advertise because there isn't much over here so it's good to know they exist! Great Burgers, Steak Sandwiches and even pork chops! Fast take out too!

Well I've been there about there 4 times and all time the service has sucked tremendously. ERIN the blonde bartender is a rude and inconsiderate...... We will keep it at that! Every time we needed a drink it took almost 15 minutes. Its truly sad cause the food is great and venue is amazing but they need a new main bartender with a nice and friendly attitude. She just lost about 40 customers this weekend alone. Sucks for the owner of this nice place!!!

Where do I start? Maybe with the fact that my husband and I sat at the bar, right in front of the THREE bartenders, for ten minutes before one of them made eye contact with us. I get that you are busy, but look at your customer and say "I'll be right with you". Clearly this bar is for locals but a very "special" kind of local. I am a local but not the kind this place caters to. That is fine with me. The girls behind the bar would also shout in their loudest voices to the "special" locals that actually get good service. I ordered a Guinness (mistake I know) and my husband ordered a Stone IPA. My Guinness took another ten minutes to pour. No, it was not because she was trying very hard to pour it correctly, it was clear she had not been trained. I honestly have no idea why it took so long. So, - 2 stars for service (it was that bad); -1 star for the scene. Another star was lost due to the fact that we just didn't trust the cleanliness of the place. We actually left and ate at Red Robin instead...yup, that's right, Red Robin...YUM. Just moving from Las Vegas, my husband and I have been searching for a place we can go and hang out at, our "go to" bar. A mix of nice but with a dive bar feel. Where the bartenders are nice to everyone...how about nice at all? A Krocks Pub but with good food. This certainly wasn't the place.

This is a rockin' sports bar for locals only. Excellent chili! Best I've had in distant memory. Steaks are superb. Tender. Excellent cuts of beef. Quesadillas are OK. Not great Very good beer in two selection. Stone IPA for me.

There seems to be a dearth of quality food in the area, but that's no reason to grade on a curve for this place. I've tried it twice now and can surely say the food isn't terrible, but it's by no means good. It's on par with Applebee's. The beer selection is good though, and there are plenty of TVs. I had a burger at my most recent visit. It was edible but wasn't even as flavorful as a Jack in the Box burger.

Wednesday is all you can eat wings. Wings were so bad I stopped half way and got a sandwich down the road at Arby's. This was my second and last visit here. The local diners seem to like the food? In town for an extended consulting assignment. Looking for another evening meal spot. Help.

Nice local bar and restaurant. I've eaten here for years, knew most of the waitress and owners. Great food, lots of food, efficient service. Kitchen may be slow when the restaurant is super busy during peak hours. We always dined before or after rush hours, very happy with service speed quality of food. They have all you can eat wings and prime rib nights; great time!

Good people, good food. Had the crab cakes tonight and my wife and I loved them. Added lump crab meat as well and it was great. Casual/nice environment with prices ranging from inexpensive to lobster tails and everything in between. Have eaten there a few times now and always enjoyed it. If you order the scallops, ask about the paprika. For some reason the butter, wine, and garlic broiled scallops tasted mostly like paprika. Server was great and took them off the bill. Only bad thing I ever had there. Great taps as well and a fun bar environment if you choose to eat in that section. Will be back!

3.5 stars. Food is good, had the prime rib. Service was decent. But they're wine selection sucks dyck. Really bad, maybe the worst I've seen. Now you say, Rhino how can this be? Well when a place is offering Barefoot wine, you know it's bad. Seriously, how does the management not realize that they have a few wineries in the hood and not incorporate them into the menu. Sad. Really a $10. Bottle of wine is better than Barefoot. I like the place, next time I'll bring my own.

This place is definitely a favorite for locals. It's convenient and always open. Wing night is pretty popular for young people in the area. The menu is basic, but done fairly well. They've been slowly doing renovations, which will definitely make the place nicer (once they're actually finished). My only complaints are that there aren't more young people at the bar on weekends and that the motorcycles are WAY TOO LOUD when they leave at night.

Good food and good value, nice "country inn" atmosphere. The only negative was that for some strange reason, there are NO prices on the menu for any of the drinks! Given that of course all the other menu items have prices, not sure what the strategy behind this is, but it's very annoying.

We just ate the hotel, and WOW Stacey our sever was the best. Food to die for. A must stop the hotel was built 1784 and looks great.

Solid three stars. We don't do the bar, only eat there as its right around the corner and offers more than the other local eateries. Consistently "ok" waitstaff, friendly. Family atmosphere in older dining rooms. I've had the chlii, open face tuna melt, patty melt and white fish with crab topping. The seafood offerings are small, better off with a big juicy sandwich. Their onion rings are great! Try the red pepper ranch dressing, really good. Varied beer menu, lacking wine one. Pretty good dessert menu. Prices are average.

The owner, Mr. Hoppy, is a rude, arrogant piece of work. He also owns Hop's at The Paddock. Thinks he's got all the PA State authorities in his pocket book. Watch out. On 5/4/14, I nearly got killed by an off duty employee at the Paddock. Would not review the security tapes, no problems until, he claims, ex employee, "Elliot" created an issue between myself. Claims I was at fault even after security intervened & said otherwise. Owner acts like a thug on the phone, treated me like crap. Waited five days to call me after I sent a Facebook public message a day or so later to him to resolve the matter as "men", as he says. He clearly has the local PA Dept. of Agriculture in his pocket. That guy must drink all day(DPA) & was easily turned on me. If you want to get solicited for drugs, have biker's or mercenaries, whatever they are as security, fraternizing with the customers, allowing drinking outside the patio area, did not try to stop a second mass attack on me on the same night inside 30 seconds (Elliot allowed back in after swinging a "wet floor sign shamshing my beer, then a second one toward my head), then go there. This "Elliot" was a server there, apparently off duty, & Mr. Hoppy claims no responsibility for his "off duty actions" I got perma banned for trying to stay out of harms way, before hearing my side or looking at security tapes. That happened before I made any negative remarks, reviews, etc. Security said it was NOT my fault & took me inside for another beer. I didn't even dial 911 until I saw the 5 or so coming at me with me having no way out. Took the word of his "employees", obviously coached. SWT Police did nothing but get my butt out safe, made no report, & Mr. Hoppy thinks he knows all the laws in PA. He claims the Paddock was a run down dump when he bought it. It's worse now. Looks nice, but try the booths.. Can't fix the seats? He called me today just to try to muscle & bully me. I gave him ample time to contact me. He claims that there is no female GM but in the next sentence she is the manager, what's the difference? Hides his contact info. Also is a contractor as well, so if he runs his "establishment's" , like his contracting business, I'ld steer clear. Full details are on the South Whitehall Patch, here, & all over face book for starters. Still got your appetite? Bottom line, don't complain to that place or this one. He tried to have a guy arrested at the Paddock because he refused to pay for his food that was made wrong, completely wrong & the cop's were going to do it. Claims 3 complaints in 3 years at the paddock? Guess again & read the reports on here. He doesn't care. Tries to scare people into submission. The constitution protects us with our 1st amendment rights. Last threat was to tell me to just drop it & it'll all go away. F*** that. I have my second amendment rights if he or his thugs come near me or my place. From what I saw on the Fogelsville site & what I witnessed hands on at The Paddock, he's a 2 bit thug with money. I won't be bullied & he opened a HUGE can of worms now. Word to the wise, his "manager" at the Paddock, dates a law enforcement officer. Wonder why he gets away with all? Maybe his "alphabet soup" as I call mine isn't quite as deep as mine. I smell graft. That's the Rica Statute, F*** with me again Hoppy. He called me up acting like he wanted a old fashioned "duel". I draw fast if that's the case. Now keep in mind, he never said "physical violence" possible on me, but I wouldn't put it past his goons. In my opinion, he's too wimpy to do something to me himself. Tough guy on the phone is all. Want the law? NP, my friend. Want the "wild west" NP either. Want even more bad publicity? I can make that happen. Want the REAL alphabet soup you do not have access to, we can go there too. Get ready for a long stay in Leavenworth. Yes, Mr. Hoppy, you just pissed off the wrong dude.

Lively bar scene in nicely renovated old "roadhouse" that dates back to the early 1800s. The food is pretty good, with special themes during the week, ie. all you can eat Italian and all you can eat wings nights (wings are good!) You can chose to eat in the bar area, or in one of the dining rooms.

Fogelsville is a good solid bar. It used to be better than it is, but i think its coming back. The food is consistently good quality and the service is good (see comment above). However, they are pricey for what they are, you can get the same food and same service at somewhere that isn't as expensive. Their menu does not change at all. Its a good local bar, but usually these days we choose to go somewhere else.

We pass this place all the time on the way to Girl Scout meetings and after checking it out online, decided to try it out. We've eaten there 3 times in a week. It's that good. First time we stopped in we weren't that hungry so we shared the appetizer sampler. Pierogies, Chicken Fingers, Mozzarella moons, eggroll and broccoli cheese bites. All were great, and very good amount for the price. We saw on the board by the door that Tuesday is Italian night (all you can eat Italian for 10.99) so we tried that next. They had Chicken or Veal Parmesan, Fettuccine with Gorgonzola cream sauce and mini meatballs and Italian Sausage (with peppers, onions and tomatoes). Between the two of us, we tried all four dishes, and the Gorgonzola fettucine was definitely the best dish and we learned from our server (Marcie, who we will always ask for from now on due to the awesome service) was something new from the chef that night. We came back on Thursday night for the AYCE Prime Rib. The first piece was really more than enough for anyone, so I expect most people would stop after that. I ordered it rare, and got a beautiful red piece, nicely seasoned crust, and very tender and juicy. My wife ordered the cheesesteak and we agreed it was one of the better ones in the area. The roll was a little too soft for me (I like crusty rolls) but decent size and plenty of meat in it. I think the next night we'll try is Wednesday for the AYCE wings.
