Don't bother the food is nothing to rave over. The one great server they had is gone. . The service now is less than even good. When I was there their one cook was so worried about talking to everyone he was not cooking. Back of the counters were less than clean . All in all I will not go back. I don't care to have the cook making jokes with me and talking down to me about my food choices. Nope not going back.

My wife and I had the pleasure of eating at Like My Thai tonight with seven of my in-laws. Ordering was a feat in itself, since we had more opinions than people, but we managed to order more than half the items on the menu. Getting to the point - although the menu was small, the service was perfect and the food was awesome! I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and Thai is one of my favorites. I would not have expected to find such great Thai food in a small town like Erie. We were all pleasantly surprised.

Their food wasn't bad, not the best of Thai I've had. Vegan and vegetarian selections were good (my dining companion is vegan; she was pleased). Personable server. I was bothered, however, that he was wearing flip flops!! That's like a health dept. no-no, isn't it? He was serving, possibly even assisting with prep (don't know). Nevertheless, a restaurant is no place for flip-flops or super- open shoes! He also carried on an inappropriate conversation on the receipt (or lack thereof!) of tips. Overall, it was pleasant. I would go again, especially because Erie has limited Thai/ethnic foods. Like My Thai is more casual than Khao Thai Restaurant (who's food is more authentic, no 'spin/interpretation').

They were good before and they're good now. Service is excellent and the owners are very kind. They have a very diverse menu that includes Vietnamese specialties such as Pho Bo and Banh Mi. They do both very well--although remember that these are two Americans cooking, so it's more of their interpretation of these dishes (e.g. it's not exactly pho, but it's as close as you'll get in Erie). Next trip, I'm trying their drunken noodles and red curry!

Average Thai. High prices.

I have only ever had exceptional meals at Like My Thai. Ingredients are always fresh and flavorful. I love that I can ask for the spice factor to be kicked up a a notch or ten, and actually taste the difference. The staff is great, always friendly and polite. The lunch counter is my favorite on days when I just want to pop in and have a bite by myself or with a friend. I do not eat grains and they have been ever so kind to accommodate my requests. I love Thai food and I am continually pleased after every meal I enjoy there. Highly recommend, nice clean environment, diverse menu and all are welcome.

My husband and I have been eating Liz and Mikes food since they were a little pop up at La Bella. We were hooked! Now back to the food, we've had the Bahn mi sandwiches, pho, curry and all the appetizers and no not all at once. It was all absolutely delicious. Now that we feel like we are experienced diners we have our favorite and mine is the Bahn mi. The pickled vegetables and the pate is so good and the price is great! I always take one home for a snack later. My husband loves the pho. He said it reminds him of the pho back home in California.

Food was good and flavorful. Service was on par and friendly. .. Prices were acceptable with the bonus of lunch prices run to five pm which can make for a great early dinner value. The lemon grass pork salad was a great surprise...

We just had a wonderful dinner there - perfect traditional pad Thai - with great service and super friendly staff.

On a trip to Erie from my home in Pittsburgh, I ate there on Friday and then again on Saturday evenings. Couldn't resist--it was excellent! I am addicted to their Thai Basil at a spice level of 2 out of 5. My sister loved their Vietnamese Caramel but I tried it at a spice level of 0 because one person in our party didn't want any spice, and I found it too sweet. I will try it again at my spice level of 2 but it's hard to deviate from the heavenly Thai Basil now that they have me addicted to it. Note that they spice on a scale from 1 to 5, as opposed to 1 to 10. However, you can go beyond 5 if you let them know you're really serious. My brother-in-law Larry has gotten them up to what they estimate is a level of 25, and the owner/chef says his supplier was out of hotter pepper spice when he checked last, just to please Larry. By now you probably can tell that the chef/owner (Mike) is quite personable. Go figure: He was trained in French cooking and pastries but decided to open a Thai place. Others have said that it is Americanized, but I find the Thai Basil to be just like I've come to expect after eating at countless Thai restaurants. Maybe one exception is that they are more flexible on their spice levels than I've experienced in some Thai restaurants. This place will adapt more to your tastes. I look forward to my next trip to Erie to visit them again! It's rejuvenated my excitement about Erie food again!

I love Like My Thai. If you walk in expecting a standard Thai restaurant, you might be disappointed, but if you stick around and try the food, I you'll leave happy. The Pad Thai, Vietnamese Caramel, and Dandanmien noodles are all fantastic. On two separate occasions I left thinking the dish I just ate may have just won the prize for best thing I've ever eaten. Four stars because while I like the flavors of the Bahn Mi, I find the bread it is served on unpleasant and while the service is always friendly, it sometimes seems a little disorganized.

Went for the first time during lunch today. The servers were all polite, the restaurant was super clean, and it was busy. It took about 45 minutes to get our food, which is a bit long for a weekday lunch; that was the only real downside. The menu looked amazing and it smelled awesome inside. We ordered the drunken noodles with chicken and the red curry with beef. The drunken noodles were amazing. The red curry was pretty bland considering I ordered a level 4 heat but still decent. They put a lot of effort into creating a great meal and I'll definitely be back again.

I am from Los Angeles where you can find great high end Thai and you can find cheep hole in the wall Thai food. I love it either way and was very happy to see a Thai place open near my work. I ordered the pad Thai. My initial thought was it is very expensive for lunch. I am used to paying that price in LA, but not in Erie. Once I tried the food, I was pretty disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the food was good. But not at all what I am used to Pad Thai being. The portion was good. I took leftovers home to my husband that enjoyed it. After reading comments the owner wrote in response to a negative post, I lost all respect and will likely not return here. Yelp is not a place to air your dirty laundry, but a place for both positive and negative comments about your restaurant. Unfortunately you will have disgruntled customers. Negative word of mouth travels much faster than positive. It was unprofessional and not the type of business owner I will support.

Great food last night. This time I had Pad Thai with tofu. Number 3 heat. It was perfect blend of flavor and heat. Was served with a salad with light homemade vinaigrette and a cup of delightful and tasty chicken based soup. Yum. The portion would have been plenty to take some home for lunch but it was so good. I polished it all off!

I've eaten here several times and look forward to trying something new each time. I enjoy sitting at the counter and watching the cooks prepare the food. Everything is fresh and made from scratch to order, as you watch the show. I recently spoke with a friend and found that she was resisting going there because she doesn't like spicy food. I reassured her that most of the menu items let you choose on a scale from no heat to extreme heat. They're making it up fresh, and they make it exactly how the customer likes it. The servers have been friendly and the food delicious. I'm looking forward to my next opportunity to eat there!

The worst Thai restaurant I have ever had. It's not the real Thai food but Americanized. The food is so bad and the service is not good neither.

On was a road trip, driving from Ohio up to Niagara Falls a few days ago, when we decided to stop in Erie for lunch. We had never been to Erie so we were looking to check out the town. I checked Yelp and found this place, and saw it had decent reviews, but I should have checked closer to see that their were only 3 reviews. Needless to say, but I was not impressed with this place. I should have realized when we first walked in because the floor seemed really dirty, but I decided to stick around and give it a try. I ordered Drunken Noodles, but what I got looked nothing like any Drunken Noodles I've ever gotten at any Thai restaurant, and Drunken Noodles is my favorite Thai dish! It seemed more like a red curry sauce and I even asked the waiter if it was indeed Drunken Noodles because it didn't taste like it. He said that the chef must have put his own spin on it. Yeah, ok. I wasn't impressed. My son got Pad Thai and he said it wasn't the best, nor the worst Pad Thai he's ever eaten.
