Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Really solid food, attractive environment. It's homey Italian food with gourmet twist. Great looking plates. I had pasta with claims last night. Fantastic. Appetizers were interesting, too. Lobster dip and pork belly all wonderful. And they serve late!

I went with a group of friends last week. Let me give you a run down.... Pork Belly appetizer was very tough. I had to spit it out. I never had pork belly that i had to saw at with a knife to get through. $14 for FIVE small cheese raviolis. The raviolis didn't appear to be home made. Pizza wasn't cooked all the way through. The center was doughy and stayed on the try when we'd pull slices off. One of us ordered chicken parm. She was told they were out of chicken while they were serving the rest of us our dinners. It was very expensive for how average it was. Wouldn't go back.

Let me just say if you are in need of some good Italian food this is the place to come. My boyfriend and I started off with lobster dip. The homemade chips for the dip is outstanding!!! On the specialty drink list I could not decided what sangria I wanted, luckily the have sangria flights. I got to choose 3 different sangrias I wanted to try. They were all delicious! For dinner I had the seafood maccheroni. It was superb! It was in a four cheese sauce with lobster, scallops, and shrimp. For dessert we shared their wildberry cheesecake, that just put the icing on the cake for my experience at Gigliottis. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone!!

The owner interacts with you at your table. The food is great, and the menu is very diverse. The dessert is different every week. Kids menu, so it is good for the whole family.
