I mean this place is just garbage... I will never order from here again when I'm in town on business. It's a shame when you have to just stick to chain restaurants when your in Erie... Five thumbs down

Visiting Erie after 15 years and wanted some food I've not had in so long. Alfees offered three such items....pepperoni balls, pizza balls and fried cauliflower. All were perfect and better than I remember. Well done.

I'm from here and always hear about alfees, but I never had it until today... It was great! The weather is TERRIBLE and they still delivered my order very quickly. The guy on the phone taking the order was very nice and so was the delivery guy. Our food was fresh and hot and delicious.... I'm a new fan of alfees! (:

Yuuummmm the pepperoni pizza is so good and the chicken finger sub is a must... The prices are exceptionally reasonable and the food is prepared fast .. The place looks a little outdated but it is clean

Best pizza in Erie. Note that, for a Rust Belt town ... Erie FAILS @ pizza! Alfee's gets it right though. They offer a FRESH, HAND-MADE crust ... That sells it for me. Atmosphere sucks ... place looks like a dive and could use an update. BUT, it's clean and the staff is polite and the pizza is great.

Alfee's is a solid choice for pizza, wings and subs. While I wouldn't eat there (they have tables but they obviously don't encourage eat-in traffic) it is perfect for pick-up or delivery. Make sure to ask for the fresh dough crust (they also offer a pre-made). It's chewy and tasty and offers all sorts of grease...but that can work in a pizza and it does for Alfee's. The wings are also worth a try. I like mine without breading and on the crispy side and you get that from Alfee's. As with a lot of locally owned and operated places, the product isn't exactly the same every time but I'll never complain. I'm glad they are here and will always choose them over the chains.

Alfee's seems to be a local favorite. However, in my opinion, there are far too many pizza shops in the area with better quality food served in a much cleaner atmosphere. My tip: have your food delivered so you don't have to slog through the grease.

I ordered the pizza and the wings. While I thought the pizza was not that great at all, the wings were quite amazing and the reason why Alfee's gets four stars. I would give the wings a 6.5 star rating and the pizza a 3 star rating. Using a simple algorithm, i came up with four stars (after rounding).

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
