My husband I stopped here late Sunday night while driving to NC. Delicious pizza, good atmosphere, and a great beer selection! We will definitely stop again if we are ever driving through again.

We had family come into town for Christmas & all met at Al's of Enola for the Sunday Buffet. The selection was awesome and the food was all amazing! There were 3 kinds of tossed salads (The Caesar was my absolute favorite!) ham, turkey, roast beef, hot wings, honey bourbon wings, pierogies, brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, mini taco taquitoes, corn nugget fritters, raviolis, pasta salad, Italian wedding soup, stuffed pepper soup & a variety of pizzas, stromboli, and subs. Plus, ice cream novelties for dessert. All you can eat, with drinks for $8.49 per adult. Children under ten are even cheaper. Our party of 14 had a great time with wonderful attentive service. Our family frequents this location several times a month. Their daily specials can't be beat! Great value for families. We always have great food and great service! Every chance my husband & I get to go out without the children - we always end up back at this Pub. Take advantage of their rewards program for frequent customers!

This place recently acquired a liquor license and built out a little bar. We had been here a few times and got food to go or ate in the pizza shop side and it was ok, with spotty service (sometimes super, sometimes horrible and rude, especially the counter people). BUT the other night, it was late and our usual spots to eat were closed, so we headed here (it is 5 mins from our house) and had a really good experience! The bar is small but has a cozy atmosphere, a few tvs, about 50 beers on tap, nice dim lighting, and music playing, but not obtrusively. There is a little bar, about 5-10 seats, and then some tables, a few high bar tables and then some regular 4 tops. It wasn't crowded, but there were about 25 other people there. The sign said seat yourself, so we did. I hate it when you do that, then nobody comes to wait on you, especially because we wanted to eat. But a waitress came right over, was very pleasant and friendly (I also hate when we go out to eat and the staff seem annoyed that they have to wait on you, I mean, isn't that why your kitchen is still open?) and asked if we were planning to eat, and let us know the kitchen would be open til I think she said 1am? So that was nice. My husband had the beer special, which was pints of Hazed and Confused (?) for $3, I had Miller Lite (diet beer!) There was also a laminated beer list already on the table which is always good. Then we shared an order of wings and each got a sandwich. The wings were crispy and hot, we didn't specify that we wanted them well done, that was just how they came out. We asked if we could have them hot/BBQ mixed, but it seemed like they poured hot sauce on one half and bbq on the other. We felt the hot sauce was too hot, but the BBQ was good. Overall the wings were good; next time i would get just BBQ with the hot sauce on the side. He had the Reuben, I got a roast beef wrap. They were both good (we always split our sandwiches, each eating half of each). The corned beef seemed like real corned beef, not lunch meat, and the wrap was fresh and had some kind of horseradish sauce that was good. I think one came with fries, the other with chips and coleslaw, but I'm not positive, maybe they both came with chips. Anyway, all in all, we got very attentive service, no problem getting our beers refilled and the waitress came back right away to check how our food was, which is so important and really all servers should do that! I was afraid we would get bad service here, but we were pleasantly surprised. We would totally go here again, especially with the huge beer selection and the kitchen being open so late.

We were here by chance and did the pizza and wings buffet. Pretty good for buffet food, so I imagine the same food fresh would be even better. The most impressive selection of bottled beer and taps I've seen so far.

Great craft beers! Something for everyone. Some of the best pizza in the area. The staff is very friendly. Brian, the manager, makes sure everyone is well taken care of.

We love stopping here on Saturdays. The beer selection is excellent, and the bartender is always the friendliest! When we eat food here, it is always a great deal, and done well.

We order delivery last night. Our order was delivered in the amount of time they said and the delivery boy was polite and nice. The pizza was good nice crust sauce was decent. We also order cheese sticks. Ugh! This has to be the cheapest thing they can order from Sisco!!! The cheese tastes like government cheese and the dipping sauce was spoiled. So I gave ALe's three stars. When I stop in Here and there the staff is super Nice!!!

I WOULD HAVE HAPPILY CALLED IN MY ORDER! I really would have. I just wanted to pick up a pizza to go and I only checked Al's of Enola's website to see what toppings they had. But by the time you can look at the menu and see the prices of things, you've already given them personal information, so I decided just to go ahead and complete the order online. I should have known by the fact that all of their online coupons had expired that I was about to experience a nightmare. Nevertheless, I proceeded blindly and arrived at Al's of Enola shortly before the time listed on my TWO EMAIL CONFIRMATIONS. When I got there, there was a line for the counter nearly to the door. I hate lines, but these guys already suckered me into paying them in advance, so I stood in line as two counter girls slowly and laboriously sludged through all the people in line ahead of me. I finally made it to the counter two minutes after the time on the email confirmation (I arrived 5 minutes early) and the counter girl was asking me all kinds of questions to find my order, hitting her touch screen all over the place. Apparently this fancy piece of equipment is not tied into the fancy online ordering system because they had not even put in my order yet. The mean manager girl went back to the back to see what was going on with my online order and comes back with "the ribbon broke." You mean to tell me that, in 2014, you have an online ordering system that is NOT interactive with your chief operating system AND runs with a frigging printer ribbon?!?! Meanwhile, you just handed me a receipt for the 6-pack of hard cider (seriously overpriced at $14) that was printed on a modern printer? WTF?!!? They were going to remedy the situation by giving me the crab pretzel they already started for another order while my pizza cooked. That would have been fine, if I was eating in - although it would have sucked for the people for whom that crab pretzel was intended. I told them that I did not want to bring home a $9 crab pretzel that had already been sitting around for several minutes while my pizza was cooking and I would wait. I have to mention the manager dude who was tap, tap, tapping away on an iPad the whole time, made eye contact with me, and was obviously aware of my situation yet never once came to talk to me or apologize for the mix up. Apparently these people have technology to spare, but can't seem to make a plain old pizza from an online order form. They certainly have no problem charging your credit card!!! I saw that manager bring my pizza to the counter. He looked me right in the eye while he did it. I saw the counter girl ask him where my crab pretzel was. My pizza sat on that counter, six inches from where the line at the counter ended. It sat there FOR SEVEN MINUTES (I watched all this go down and made a note of the time) while people reached over my pizza, handing the girl their money, coughing, sneezing, everything that people do. Sadly, that was not the most unhygienic thing I saw while I was at Al's of Enola. As I sat there, waiting for this ordeal to end, I watched this staff member hauling dishes in and out of the kitchen. The guy was enormous and was sweating buckets. His shirt was drenched, and his bald head had beads of sweat covering it like the bumps on a basketball. I watched the sweat roll down his face and neck, and I knew that at least some of it was getting on the dishes he was carrying -- and ya know what?? Some of those dishes he was carrying were "clean" too. If this is what's available for the public to see, can you imagine what goes on in the kitchen?!? While I was waiting for my hour-long, outrageously overpriced pizza, two young men walked in and told the same girl who "helped" me that they, too, had placed an online order. These boys also got the 1,000 questions and all the rigmarole I just went through and, sure enough, their order was not yet started either. I thought that when my crab pretzel was finally finished that my agony was over. I was looking forward to having some pizza and Al's of Enola does have a reputation for serving good pie. Sadly, this was not my experience. When I got the pizza home and opened it, there was LITERALLY a pool of grease in the corner of the pizza box. I will post a picture to compliment this review. It was disgusting. My whole crew only ate three pieces of the crap. Even the dog wouldn't eat the whole piece of crust we gave him. Not kidding. And, to add insult to injury, that pool of grease from the pizza box also left a big ol' grease stain all over my car seat - a permanent reminder of my miserable experience at Al's of Enola. Though I don't think anybody should ever go to Al's of Enola, they did slip me two coupons for free cheese slices for my trouble. I'll never go back, but they get away with this scot-free if I don't use those coupons - so free Al's of Enola coupons to the first person who requests them.

I've been to Al's several times now and I've sampled a variety of their menu. Most recently, I ordered a mini pepperoni, ham, and cheese Stromboli. It was HUGE! It's more than enough for one meal, so don't get a regular or large unless you want leftovers! From past experiences, their buffet is decent as well, offering salad, pasta, and pizza options. They bring out fresh items in a timely manner too! I only have two reservations about Al's, which is why I gave 3 stars versus 5. First, they use a chunkier pizza sauce than I prefer, which doesn't really stand out from other pizza places (not good or bad, just average). Second, unless you're getting the buffet, they can be a bit pricy. All in all, it's a decent, average pizza shop.

Solid pizza shop. Excellent takeout selection for beers. I'd been here several times for the takeout beer alone. Contrary to other reviews, this is not the same as Al's of Hampden. We actually stopped here for lunch based on reviews of both places. I mistakenly thought you could get Pizza Boy beers here. You can't, but you can get cheap flights of any 4 beers for only $5 (apparently unlike Al's of Hampden)! We sat at the pub. Good service, pretty good pizza shop food for a quick, low key late Sunday lunch. The bread on my cheesesteak seemed fresh baked. Recommended if you're in the area.

I attended training nearby and had lunch here nearly every day. Their buffet, including a drink and dessert, came to nine dollars including tax. Many of the items on the buffet rotate. There's a pizza buffet and then around the corner is salad bar with fresh pasta salads and prepared Caesar salad. The hot buffet section was my favorite. They have excellent hot ...hot wings and a more barbecue flavored hot wing; one day they had the most excellent seafood and pasta dish. It had actual Sea scallops, bay scallops and big shrimp. For dessert they had, I think it was several selections of ice cream and things like fudge bars etc. in a small cooler. Their soda on tap is Pepsi. They do have an amazing, huge selection of all kinds of beers in bottles that you can take with you or drink there. The only day I got something off the regular menu instead of the buffet, I got the grilled salmon salad. That, sadly, was a total disappointment. The salmon tasted like it was out of the freezer, there was no sign or flavor that reminded me of anything that even came close to being grilled. It was on a bed of lifeless lettuce and some hearty strips of cheese. Blech. One star loss for that and that you have to bus your own plates into a front-swinging old trash can. You have to hold the door open and scrape your plate at the same time.

We make the trek to Pizza Boy Brewing (aka Al's Pizza and Subs) and had a great time trying different beers from their 102 drafts on tab. PBB has some unique brews like Chocolate Mint Stout and Raspberry Creme Ale which were both surprisingly good. The also have amazing pizza and is the only place the hubby is willing to have something other than just pepperoni on his pizza. Completely low key relaxing afternoon, will definitely come again.

I've been going here for years, and it's my favorite pizza place. Pizzas, strombolis, and appetizers are all excellent. They have an abundance of craft beers if that interests you. Couldn't recommend it enough.

We live in Hampden Township and drive past the "other Al's" to go to this one. Much better atmosphere, much friendlier staff, better food and a great beer selection. Lunch buffet is also good for the money, but the attached pub is the main attraction for me. It's a pizza joint - Italian restaurant - and Irish pub all in one!

One of the best Greek chicken salads in Central, PA. I usually write a lot but that's pretty much what I have to say. They have pizza (which my family likes although I rarely eat pizza), the have wings (which my family likes but I think aren't crispy enough), they have lots of typical Central, PA sandwiches, subs, salads, and dishes found at an Italian pizza shop. They have a buffet, but it's filled with pastas and I don't like pasta. But . . . they have an awesome Greek chicken salad. I actually crave their salad. With lots of extra feta cheese and whatever they use for a dressing . . . yum. P.S. If you're a beer drinker, there are lots of options and some good specials. Definitely worth a stop of beer and pizza. AND OF COURSE THE GREEK CHICKEN SALAD. ;)

Absolutely love this pizza shop. I come here about 2x's a month minimum. They have a rewards gift card now for the frequent "shopper" I have lived in Enola all my life and we've been coming here for years and years. They offer buffets daily and I absolutely love coming here for the stromboli. They serve alcohol now which is a plus. On the pub side they have performers occasionally. The atmosphere is friendly, if you come when they're busy their customer service could be found to be lacking.

Al's is the latest spot for post Harrisburg Area Roller Derby afterparties! Patron beware, these girls drink a lot and eat a lot. Sorry they reserved the pub area; sorry your Sunday evening plans had to change. "Section Closed" with a full crowd means "Private event." But here's a hint to all you passive-aggressive (and agressive-agressive) patrons who were jilted: spend $10 to watch roller derby next door at the Olympic AND be invited to the party! Great job servers! 150 people show up in 15 minutes and you folks busted your butts to make sure everyone got served. Wait was understandable considering roller derby peeps descend like locusts and leave a swath of misery in their wake.

Al's Pizza and Subs is a lifelong favorite, and they've only gotten better with time. Sure you can come in for the killer all you can eat specials. They're amazing, with variety beyond the namesake of this establishment. You can also enjoy them as a tap house, bottle shop, and growler filler these days, which I think is really col. They have two sides, one maintaining that old pizza shop feel, and one with a rustic brew pub feeling. But there's one part of Al's that will forever hold my heart- day old sub rolls. These are the best rolls in the world, making these the best subs, and to take home day olds is a special treat when you get the chance. :)
