My favorite diner in the Emmaus/Macungie area. I've probably eaten there a dozen times and never had anything bad. Prices are very reasonable and portions are huge. Breakfast is always hot and fresh. Never so busy at dinner that your meal will take forever. Don't forget a slice of pie. I was surprised that they took credit cards.

Old people food! Some diners just know that old people frequent at stops so cooks just stop caring about how the food tastes and looks. My family and I went out for breakfast and it tasted terrible! The toast was like chewing cardboard! The food tasted cheap and the staff was very slow, the one on Tilghman Street is better so I think I will go to that one from now on.

My fiancee and I had dinner there tonight. Food was pretty good. I had the open prime rib sandwich, he had the chicken pot pie. Waitress was nice but not the most attentive. Forgot straws, brought wrong salad dressing. She asked me if I wanted dessert but started walking away before asking my fiancee. The italian wedding soup was salty and had no meatballs in it. May try again.

Food's usu. good. Service only OK. My wife and I don't like the fact they tend to run the vacuum while people are eating nearby. In fact, just today, we walked out due to this nuisance.

This place rocks for breakfast. They always accommodate our large groups. The scrapple smashed is a great touch on this classic breakfast side. The service is phenomenal, very hospitable, quick, on the ball and always there to refill your coffee. One of the few places that can actually cook an over medium egg (tougher than it looks). Hats off, this is my breakfast staple whenever I come back to visit.

I just got done eating here Gregory Grookett thinks the menu is a typical diner menu. With a lot of selections so you have to really pay attention and look because it's very confusing but that's how will dinars are. As far as the food goes I have no complaints I went with a southwest chili burger that came with 3 sides so I went with french fries but started off with a ham and bean soup. The bowl of soup was very hearty and the soup tasted pretty good. The burger came out immediately after that on a nice toasted brioche bun the burger was pretty tasty and messy and a messy burger always means it's going to be a good burger! So Gregory Grookett approves of the burgers here As I am a burger aficionado. The fries on the other hand were a little bit of a letdown they were not steak cut fries they were those batter dipped rise at most places are starting to sell now because they're a little bit cheaper and it contains less potato. I also got a pudding which was included in the meal which I took home. The total price came to 9 dollars and some change which I thought was very fair for a burger fries soup and a pudding. The waitress I believe her name was Beverly was pretty nice and kept coming back to ask me if I needed anything and filled my water right away without having to ask. There was this though this older white haired men walking around I'm assuming he was either the owner or manager because I saw him setting up a service on the table but he kept pacing back and forth and staring at the tables as he was walking by where people were eating was kind of creepy. But all in all I recommend the trivet for good food I use the bathroom they were pretty clean matter-of-fact freshly cleaned smell like bleach the floors and tables and walls all look clean. So if you're in the area and looking for a diner to relax and get a decent meal this is your place. Sincerely, Gregory Grookett

This is now on our list of places to not go back too. Our waitress was wonderful, the food, not so much. We did go on a holiday so maybe the regular cook was off. Veal parm & spaghetti was barely eatable. Cheap tasting Veal, and spaghetti sauce was way too sweet. The salads were nice. Don't even bother with the chicken croquettes, it was the worst one I ever had! The restaurant had mold on the ceiling, both in the dining room and the bathroom, overall the place didn't look clean. I wonder are all Trivits like that or did we just pick the worst one?

Nice diner. We've lived in the area for a while but never stopped in until today. Me and my husband decided to try something different. The menu is HUGE. The food was very good and the service was even better. We had a peppy little redhead (I can't remember her name) who was funny and helpful while we flipped through the never ending menu. I had a panini and my husband had a prime rib. It was great I can't believe this is the first time I've been here and it surely won't be the last.

Awful service. I was not brought my tea. I was given attitude. I was brought my check immediately before I had a chance to order addition items. I purchased the additional meals down the road at another diner. This was not the cute shitty diner service. This was just bad service. The food was the low standard of diners. The trivet in Allentown was great. I don't know why they let this place go to hell. The interior is dark and run down and needs upgrades all over. I don't know how this place stays in service. Avoid. There is a great diner down the road.

Just OK. I would stay away due to the fact they treat there employees badly. I know a waitress that worked there and she gave them ample notice before she left. They still have not paid her for the last week she worked. Totally unacceptable, Everyone should be aware of this and demand them to pay her or refuse to patronize these establishment!

Ate here a few times. Just ok. Breakfast is better than lunch. Grill cheese and BLT sandwiches were very small and salty with a tiny, tiny paper cup of coleslaw and potato chips. The toasted wheat bread was almost burnt with no offer to replace it.

This is one of my favorite diners in the Lehigh Valley and trust me we have a lot. It has all the typical diner fair in addition to Pennsylvania Dutch food such as Scrapple. The food is good, cheap, and the portions are huge. Breakfast is the highlight of the place and the home fries are amazing. The service is average and the food comes out quick. They have homemade pies which are also quite good and always have a lot of specials. Overall A Good Diner which also is one of the few to serve Pennsylvania Dutch food

We've enjoyed breakfast here twice in the recent past. Their menu offers a lot of variety and creative options, whether sweet or savory. The food is delicious, portions are ample, service is speedy and courteous. It's a diner; come in knowing that the decor isn't the most trendy. That's not why people eat at diners!

Nice, quality diner food. The ambiance was very classic diner without being over-the-top cheesy or rundown. The food was good and the service wasn't bad, even though we went in at one of the busiest times of the week -- Saturday morning. We'll definitely be coming back again.

This place doesn't include home fries with their breakfast entrees. That's why I don't go here. Get with the program and either up the prices to include the home fries or stop having them as a la carte
