Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

We eat here often because we live close by. It's not my first choice, but the food is good enough. I think they are way overpriced for what you get. If they brought down the prices a bit, it would be much more enticing. Forget about ordering delivery, it will take at least an hour. Order before you get hungry.

It's my go to spot for pizza. However they need to stay consistent with their recipe. One day the pizza reminds me of authentic pizza slice from Brooklyn. And other days it's pizza hut quality. And usually my chicken club sub is missing bacon.

Have been going to Armetta's for years. Their lunch menu is pretty good and fairly priced. The food howver is sometimes inconsistent which is annoying.

I've been here several times and every time I am very impressed by the food that is ordered. Few places have I had a better Stromboli. The waitstaff is usually nice and accommodating The only reason that I didn't give it five stars is because I feel that the alcohol prices are little high.

I ate here several times after moving to Emmaus 2 years ago both take out and dining in. Although some items weren't terrible, antipasto salad for instance, I've been disappointed enough with the food that I no longer will eat there. Pizza isn't remarkable, pasta is overpriced, I had to ask the register clerk to please put the salads (cold) in a separate bag from the subs (hot), she seemed annoyed with my request. That was the last time I ordered food from them.

Go ahead and patron here if you like waiting way over the promised time for a take out order.

I have been ordering from Armetta's for a few years now since I work a mile away. They have always been nice to talk to and very helpful. They have the BEST bruchetta pizza and I also love the fettucine tortilini. I have only dined in a few times but have always had a good experience.

Delicious pizza and great (delivery) service, but the add on toppings are super pricey (i.e., $2 to add black olives to your large pizza), and the menu could use a facelift.

Had lunch here after 2 pm on a Saturday...surprisingly, we were not the only table. The food was good...I had a turkey ciabatta, the hubs had a roast beef foccacia. Both were decent (especially for $6) but nothing crazy outstanding. If you are into horseradish, there's is pretty good. However, our waiter was MIA most of the time...our table wasn't wiped down. But it was 2:30 on a Saturday when our food was delivered, so I'm not expecting a A-staff or service. It's solid three stars from me. I'm sure we'll try it again for dinner sometime.

Love the Pizza and Veggie Stromboli!!! Nice bar, although a bit small. A few stools. One high-Top. Great menu selection. Kids are welcomed! Reasonable pricing.

Friendly service, average prices, basic Italian-American menu, this place needs to clean their restaurant better. Ceiling tiles are pretty dirty. not a great feeling.

In my opinion this restaurant should rate an average of four stars. I've only ever had pizza here, but never been disappointed with the quality or service. It isn't the best pizza I've ever eaten, but I reserve that title to pizza from Giordanos or Round Table or Pizza My Heart. However as pizza goes this restaurant delivers a worthy representation of east coast pizza, way better than what you find at any of the major pizza chains.

Armetta's is a decent Italian restaurant. The highlight of their menu is definitely the Strombolis. Their strombolis are my favorite in the valley. The strombolis are always huge for the price and absolutely packed full of stuff. One large stromboli can easily feed a hungry family of four and will only put you out about 17 George Washingtons. There is quite a few strombolis on the menu to choose from. The rest of the menu is average. Nothing is horrible and nothing is amazing. The service varies a lot but is usually decent. The Emmaus location is their original location and I think it has better ambiance than the Macungie location. It is located smack on Main Street in Emmaus and has a nice outdoor seating area which looks on downtown. The pricing is standard as Italian restaurants go and there is a full bar.

Cardboard pizza that is extremely basic. Decent grinder, and friendly counter staff and waitresses. Fairly good delivery.

We ate in-house only once, and the service was bad and the food was cold. Being locals, we've ordered delivery several times. Each time was met with problems - wings came in the wrong quantity or flavor, salads came with the wrong dressing, and twice we were given someone else's food order instead of our own. Tonight was the last straw, they advertise "Gluten Free" pizza, but don't tell you that it's only for medium size, and that none of the "specialty" pizzas count and that the topping combinations get billed extra... creating a price that's almost 50% more than what's on the menu. We are thoroughly disgusted with the whole establishment and are done with these people forever.

My favorite local spot in Emmaus / Allentown. Pizza and Cheesesteaks are incredibly good. The buffalo chicken cheesesteak pizza is something you have to try once. Great cozy bar with friendly waitstaff.

My spinach prosciutto raviolis tasted like canned ham Her seafood manicotti was overcooked. There was no drink menu. Beer selection all macros. They "forgot" our bread until we reminded them when our entrees came out. Everything tasted like it sat in the fridge for a day or two. Waitress was OK, just kind of slow. Ambiance was good, in a "Friends" kind of way and not a Tuscan Italy kind of way.

Got a hoagie for lunch. The roll was perfect. Hoagie was full but not ridiculously full. It was served on a real plate! Waitress was very friendly. I would come here again.

Pizza always tastes bland. Their garlic knots I have way too much garlic on them and that's coming from someone who likes garlic.

This was the first time my wife and I have stopped here for dinner, and we got their Seafood Marina special for 2 people, which is a special for Valentines Day. It was amazing. The shrimp were huge, the calamari was excellent and the scallops were eye-closingly-good. The sauce was slightly viscose but not to the degree of it being a considerable problem and the flavor and texture of the rest of the meal more than made up for it. We also got a Portobello Mushroom and Crab appetizer with garlic and spinach, which was also very good. Great choice for an inexpensive option for dinner.

Had small cheese pizza and cheesesteak ("light on the sauce"). I was here once before and shared the exact same thing with my companion, and I looked forward to returning to Armetta's. The sauce served with complimentary garlic knots is damn good, the knots could have been baked a tad longer though, doughy. The cheese steak is probably 12 inches, great flavor, seasoned well, fresh sub roll. No complaints! The pizza is great (small, $8). The crust is thin except for around the edges but the sauce is the real deal. Not too sweet, not salty, that's the key, nom nom nom. This is kind of a bar-type place with a decent restaurant and nice ambiance. Pitcher of Miller Lite $10.50, that's steep. I would give 3 1/2 stars/5 if I could. Most bars have crap food, so you will be happy if you come here for a drink and get hungry before 10pm. Pretty much, nobody's pizza can beat Palermo's in Northampton. Though Armetta's is not 5 star, give them a try on the pizza.
