Hoss's is a good family favorite - good for a casual lunch or dinner. The food isn't worthy of la michelin guide or anything, but it's good. Many a time you will see people you know, students from class or people from work. Overall I like it. Plus the best part is the self serve ice cream

Overall, unimpressive. Have been a few times. Everything was just okay, nothing special. Not the cleanest place either.

Hoss's reminds me of the American Steak House chain in Connecticut, except that the salad bar in Hoss's has more variety and is easily two to three times the size. I've tried a few of their entrees, but to be honest, their seafood and burgers are just so-so. I'd say it's better to focus on their inexpensive and well-stocked salad bar. Anyway, this particular Hoss's is along one of the bigger roads skirting Elizabethtown and the strip mall in which it is located has plenty of parking. It's just a short hop off route 283 if you're traveling between Harrisburg and Lancaster.

Just ok, not a good value and food is so so. We come back once a year to see if it gets any better but it never does. We used to come a few times a month in the mid 2000's but then the quality fell and the prices soared. Maybe we will try it again in another year to see if anything has changed.

First return visit in a long while and I was pleasantly surprised. I got the Flat Iron steak and salad bar and the steak was done perfectly and had a very good flavor. Salad bar here is always very nice. Plenty of room and even when busy doesn't seem closed in. Wait staff was very nice and I watched her deal with a large family changing multiple orders at the next table with ease. My wife ordered Buffalo Chicken Tenders and Sugar Snap Peas. She was very happy with her choice. Very spicy.

The historical artifacts from local businesses make the atmosphere here very good. The food, service, and value are super. A good variety of fare to suit most. I'd like to see the return of cod fish to the menu though. A good family restaurant

The two times our family has gone here, we spent more time in the bathroom afterwards than at the restaurant. The cuts of meat are not very good - very fatty and not tender at all. The frozen seafood at the gorcery store is better. I have been to other chain steak houses, and this is by far the worst I have ever been to. Will never go here again.
