Ollie's is a great place for BREAKFAST. Their pancakes and breakfast foods are decent, and their service is great. It's like a step up from a Perkins but not as good as a Colonial Pancake House, if you know what I mean. Never really enjoyed anything other than breakfast at this joint, and I suggest you stick to the breakfast menu as well.

Ollie's is a nice, down-home place that serves up simple meals prepared very nicely. I have family that lives around here and they are regulars. I ate here for the first time recently and I was pleased. It seems like one of those neighborhood places that serves up consistently good food with no frills. I would not say that they will blow you away with their culinary inventions, but I think it's a good place to get a nice meal. Nothing fancy, just good, down-home, and to the point.

I lived in Kingston for a year and a half and Ollie's was a regular thing for my husband and I. FIrst of all, it isn't the nicest place but it is good home cooking. The salad bar was great and their fries were to die for. The waitresses were always wacky and hated their jobs. Definitely think it was worse during the winter but that just made Ollie's part of Ollie's. Personally, I would recommend it and if I ever go back to visit I will definitely be back. A great family owned restaurant with great prices and food.

Ollie's has the greatest soup and salad bar. In addition to the salad fixings, they always have 4 varieties of soup to choose from. I'm guilty of wanting to have more than one and then being too full for my meal. They also have a nice selection of breads on the bar. I could just order the soup & salad bar alone and be completely satisfied. Their entree selection is great.. there is a lot to choose from. One of my favorites is their Parmesan crusted chicken. I also like their Broiled Salmon Filet. It is always busy there, which says a lot about a place. Update: The last time I went to Ollie's, I made a mistake with my order. I hate onions, and forgot to ask that they be left off my french dip sandwich. Since it was my mistake, I was going to just eat by side and forget about it, but my dining companion spoke up. Even though it was entirely my fault, they made me a new sandwich without hesitation. Fantastic customer service!

This place used to be excellent. However over the past two years it has gone way down hill. The servers are either rude or they just simply don't listen. Orders get messed up and they don't even offer to take things off the bill. They are also out of common food items regularly and that is just ridiculous. Won't be going back.

We were served very promptly and our server was very pleasnt and thoughtful, the portobello cheddar sandwich was okay with the sweet potato french-cut "fries". BUT the saladbar was unkept at such a lunch hour and not worth the extra $4.99 applied to my meal. Boo. The Duchess cheese soup that I chose, (being a vegetarian) had a strange, mystery bacon in it that disolved instantly at light touch, making it completely unfit for me. I would have been thrilled if they mentioned that somewhere via label. It wasnt that hot either. But I had to poke around.. also our table was a bit crumby when they sat us and no one cared, except us.

Great salad bar and amazing duchess cheese soup. Breakfast is great, we do weekend brunches at least twice a month. Service is always friendly and attentive :)

I used to go to Ollies all the time and I liked the food, the prices and the staff. I think that's why I was so disappointed tonight. It will be a very long time before I visit them again if ever. We arrived at 9 pm when they were going to close at 11pm. We were ignored because it was more important to clean than take care of customers. We had to listen to vacuuming through our whole meal which needless to say made it difficult to carry on a conversation. When we spoke to the gentleman at the register when we were leaving, he didn't seem to care at all. We didn't even receive an apology for our inconvenience. The staff at Ollies used to care about customer service but it appears those days are gone in this restaurant.

Just had breakfast here and it was even better than expected. Even though the parking lot was packed we were seated right away and the food was delicious. We will be back for sure... Even considering having them cater our wedding.

Saw several positive reviews for here, so we decided to visit. Overall average fare here. Service was pleasant and food was garden-variety. Atmosphere was more like a buffet/cafeteria. I will tell you that you get a large amount of food for the price. Also, the restaurant was clean and the food came out within five minutes of ordering. Our waitress was very friendly and checked on us often.
