Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Pizza is as good as any pizza in NYC. Yeah, that good! No air conditioning, though.

George is a great guy. Very friendly, etc. It's nice to see that he finally went out on his own and opened up a good, solid pizzeria. I have only been here twice since he opened so I won't be too critical but based on having his pizza at the other place I can say it won't be bad. First time we had picked up and second time it was delivered. His pies are pretty good if a bit undercooked for my liking so I order them well done. Sicilian, which everyone in the area loves, leaves a bit to be desired. True Sicilian Pizza is not supposed to be 3 inches high as Americans have become accustomed to. George makes his Sicilian Pizza thinner then most and that is how I like it. However, it is too saucy for my liking. It's more on the PA tomato pie side with extra sauce on top of the cheese. If he just had the sauce and the cheese on top it would be first class. The place has plenty of parking and is clean. I will be ordering from him again without reservations but just wanted to let people know of my peference.

Average sandwiches and pizza. Delivery took a while to arrive.

We stopped here on our way back from NJ. My daughter has celiac and I located George's on find me gf app. GF pizza was baked & served on a separate tin & we were given pre packaged pizza cutters labeled gluten free. The staff was incredibly attentive & honestly, some of the nicest people I've met. We got the Buffalo chicken pizza and a taco pizza. The chicken was marinated & the pizza overall was not greasy at all. They also use very high quality cheese. The non gf eaters in the group were happy they tried it. My daughter declared this to be the best pizza she ever had. My only "gripe" is that they aren't closer to home for us. :-)

George's Pizza is okay, good for a family dinner. They have good options for other food, but a pizza place is best known for pizza. Their Sicilian is not fantastic, but it's decent. Overall the establishment is convenient and nice, but it's not a fancy dining option.

I was home again for Thanksgiving and managed to get George's twice in a span of about six days....always delicious. As my family ate George's pizza for dinner, my older brother was in heaven, complimenting the sauce. When I asked if they had pizza like this in DC, his face of disappointment said it all. Can't wait for my next George's fix during my trip home for x-mas.

After seeing they have Gluten Free options, we gave George's a shot. The quality of their food is very good and their gluten free options are among the best in the area that I've had. We ordered online through mypizza.com . I wouldn't recommend taking that route to order your food. The menu doesn't have all the right options and ended up prompting a phone call about 40 minutes after placing our original order to clarify. That said, it added substantial delays to the ordering and delivery process, so I recommend calling instead. After these delays, the prep and delivery was speedy and their driver was very polite and courteous when delivering our food. Their gluten free pizza comes on an individual tray and the specialty meat-lovers pizza I ordered was loaded with toppings. My fiancée also was very satisfied with the grinder she ordered. Aside from our snag with the online ordering, the rest all went well. This may become our "go to" Italian takeout for the future!

Great pizza, and even better service. Everyone here couldn't be friendlier. The inside is always super clean and bright when I come here. Make sure to say hi to the owner, George. Nicest guy.

As another reviewer writes below, the Sicilian is tasty although too wet for my taste. The crust is not unlike decent crusts you'd find in New York City -- delicate, with a crispy mouthfeel, and hearty flavor, but again, the goopy/oily toppings cancel that out. My wife actually couldn't eat it, though my kid loved it. The sauce is delicious. It's a sweet, very rich, piquant-yet-mild creation, and there's plenty of it. The service is excellent. George is a super great guy, very friendly, but I'm going to ask for my pizza to be cooked well done next time I order. I am certainly open to returning and revising my review someday. Maybe I was just unlucky the day I came in?
