Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Once again, Yelp has let me down. I figured with 23 reviews and 4.5 stars (as of this writing) how can you go wrong? Well, I will tell you how, read on. I called in an order to pick up: Calamari, Calzone, Lasagne, and Veal Marsala. Was ready in 20 minutes like they said, so far so good. I paid and brought the food home, they forgot my Calzone. Called them up and the girl says "oh yeah, it's right here, do you want to pick it up?". Not really, I wanted you to give it to me when I was there! Anyway, my wife went to pick it up for me and their response to her was "oops!". Not a good start for a new place for us. Now for the food. None of the things we ordered were good. I would rate the whole meal as poor to fair. Calamari had no flavor and were like rubber. Calzone had no flavor and not much ricotta cheese, was all mozzarella. Lasagne really had no flavor, nice amount of cheeses but the meat tasted like a hamburger- no Italian flavor at all. The Veal Marsala was probably the best of all, the veal was tender but did not have a good Marsala flavor. Also, it was on a huge bed of spaghetti with no sauce at all. I cannot understand the other reviews posted here, the food here is flavorless. I'm from New York, we know good Italian food, this is not it. Look elsewhere.

Great meal!! Highly recommend. Everything was delicious. The sauce is sweet and wonderful. The garlic bread, the eggplant, and the salad were all great!

I can be a tough critic of Italian places, mostly because the elements of dishes are pretty simple and should be easily perfected. Despite this, few pizza joints in the valley get it right. Constantine's is the exception. I got an eggplant parm sandwich to judge the place because it has a bunch of elements that have to come together correctly to make a satisfying bite. This was probably the best i've had in the valley. First, the eggplant itself was neither bitter nor soggy, which probably means it was salted and towel dried. Big points there. It was fried well and took on the flavor of carefully homemade redsauce which had a good balance of sweetness, acid, and salt. The mozerella was good and the toasted roll substantial enough not to fall apart but basically dissolved in the mouth to let the eggplant and sauce do the talking. Perfect. Its so rare to see restaurants like this make the effort with technique and flavors. They definitely earned a new customer. ...And the guy worker the counter is good people. Do yourself a favor and start buying from these guys they are at the head of the class.

A full parking lot is always a great sign. Online ordering was easy. We enjoyed our take-out order. It was a large antipasto, garlic bread, and a large pizza. The antipasto had plenty of ham and cheese and was good for 2 people. The garlic bread had chunks of garlic, which is so delicious. The pizza was great, and we look forward to returning.

Ordered pizza for delivery and was told that it would be 35 minutes. 2 hours and 10 minutes later I got my ice cold pizza. Will give them one more chance due to the fact that even ice cold it had decent flavor.

I hadn't seen the option for this place on my grubhub phone app yet, but today it popped up as an option when I was looking for a dinner delivery. I looked it up online and it boasts being the "Best Italian Food In Easton", so I decided to give it a try. My order was a bit late arriving, but... The poor delivery guy, lol. He was so apologetic for being late, and very pleasant to talk to. He had a GPS, but... Looking at the address, I think someone accidentally forgot to tell him my apartment number, lol. He said at the last minute, someone on the phone told him "Try apartment _". Before that, he was thinking my building number was a house number! Hehe. Well all was forgiven. I brought my order inside. Everything was still nice and hot. Here is what I got: Lasagna (came with a salad and garlic bread) Cheesecake Garlic Bread-- So the Garlic bread came in these 2 rectangle shaped pieces, each cut in half. The garlic was fresh I could tell. And pretty much laced into the butter. Not too dry, crunchy or burned. It wasn't really "toasted" it was kind of soft. Salad--It was a nice surprise. On grubhub, I didn't see a salad description, just a choice for "dressing" (I chose Ranch) so I thought maybe it was to dip the bread in? Or I could maybe be getting a salad... It was nice and fresh, tomatoes with red onion, lettuce and a few olives. The olives were fragrant and tasted pretty good. They weren't plain, they had a nice flavor. Lasagna--Wow, that was a BIG serving of lasagna, lol. But it tasted great. It does have a unique flavor--not like those typical, run-of-the-mill frozen ones you buy in the store. This one tasted more like a homemade one. The tomato sauce was interesting... Can't put my finger on it, but maybe it was cooked with a dash of wine? Its sort of sweet and robust. I could taste basil and oregano. There was some ricotta cheese in the middle. And the cheese on top was nice and bubbly and lots of it. Tasted like more than one kind of cheese too. That's how I like it. And real cheese too, not that cheap, over-processed stuff, lol. Cheesecake-- I'm glad they have decent cheesecake... See I don't like the kind Burger King has, its wayyyy too sweet and tastes like pure frosting. But this cheesecake tastes like good old cheesecake. Its softer than the ones I make at home, but its not too sweet. The crust tastes like it has a little pinch of cinnamon. Overall, I would say this is a pretty good place to get Italian food. I like the salad thing, because most people don't know this, but REAL Italians do not load up a huge plate of nothing but pasta and call it dinner. Pasta is like a side dish to the entrée for them. Like they will have chicken, a side of pasta and they usually include a salad (or something with vegetables) with the meal. That's how Italians stay so thin, they eat many small meals a day, and they fill up with veggies and such. So that was a nice touch. Gave it a more authentic ring. And if you go to an Italian place--don't skip the salad. Really. I know a lot of people are not salad eaters... But just eat it, lol. You will be fuller and there is something about salad with a good meal that just adds flavor, texture, color and makes you feel like you got some extra vitamins in you. Its just a better experience. Plus you get more fiber

I ordered delivery and got the shrimp vodka and chocolate mousse . The delivery was on time and the food was delicious! There was a huge serving of pasta with jumbo shrimp. Really tasty and a great deal. Lasted me two meals. The chocolate mousse was also great and hit the spot. It wasn't too sweet and had a great creamy texture.

I absolutely have to update again. This past Friday night my church booked their party room for out church Christmas party. The place of course was packed as the food really is so delicious. I cannot begin to say enough good. We had one server (Missy) assigned to us (we had a group of 31 people). What a hard worker who honestly wanted our dining experience to be wonderful. We had a dinner buffet style...baked ziti, eggplant parmesan, chicken marsala, and sausage with onions and peppers, and of course a very good tossed salad and homemade bread. Most of the people in our party had never been there. Constantino's is a fairly new restaurant. Everyone said they can't wait to go back. My prior review must've just been an off night. Constantino's is back at the top of my list for Italian dining in the Lehigh Valley. *****

Our Wednesday night card group has been looking for a suitable substitute for That's Amore since it's sudden closing a few weeks ago. Our mailman suggested we try Constantinos. He was absolutely right! The owner couldn't have been more gracious. He is obviously very proud of his food and rightfully so. His sauce is outstanding. Everything is fresh. The staff was short handed but more than made up for it with great service. We will definitely be going back next week. Can't wait to try some of the other items on the menu. Our only negative comment was that the tables are a little small for four but no big deal. No longer concerned about That's Amore...

Ok, so they're still getting the hang of things. You may have to wait a little extra for your food, but HOLY MOLY, this food is GOOD. I've been here three times so far and I plan to go back... again and again. I'm going to be completely honest and say that I ordered the Shrimp Parm each time, because I was BLOWN AWAY the first time I tried it. They even accommodated my crazy request to make it with vodka sauce. Everyone that I have been here with has loved their meals. If you like spicy, try their fra diavolo seafood dish. My boyfriend is also a big fan of their pizza. The owner is a really friendly guy that'll put a smile on your face.
(5)Nancy C.
Owner and staff very friendly here. If you like sweet red sauce (I am not a fan) then you will love it. Garlic bread was fantastic. I had the seafood fra Diavlo and although on the sweet side, it was one of the most aromatic and tasteful fra Diavlo I've ever had. The atmosphere in the back dining room could improve with decoration and noise (sounds like you're in a noisy cafeteria). I'll give it another attempt in the future but will try a white sauce this time.

We ate here twice recently and the food was great on both occasions. The sauces are homemade and contain quality ingredients. My hubby had a Clam with Broccoli red sauce and I had a Francese. Hope the quality continues as this will be our go to local Italian place.

Constantino's Pizzeria & Ristorante is a new restaurant in Easton, PA. They specialize in Italian fare, including specialty pizzas, pastas, cal-zones, cold subs, hot subs, and the like. The restaurant it self comprises of a plain take-out style entrance, around the corner lies the seating area. There is a larger room attached to the main dining area that I assume would be used for larger parties. -Atmosphere Italian style deco, but not cheesy like a lot of restaurants in the area. Lighting is nice. Plain, paper style place mats with Italian lore. While I was there, they were playing Italian opera, not too loud that I was annoyed. A tad cheesy, but it fits. New place so, it was very clean. Atmosphere: 4 out of 5 -Service I went in around 7PM on a Tuesday. They had one dedicated waitress, the cashier was helping bus tables from time to time. I would say she was handling about 5 tables with an average of 3 people each at any given time. A lot for one waitress to handle, but she hustled and took care of everyone. I have an extremely severe milk allergy, so service is especially important to me. I informed the waitress of my allergy, and while she was not 100% knowledgeable of how items on the menu were prepared, she saw to it that I was taken care of. I was offered refills often, and was overall very pleased with the service. Food took a little longer than average to arrive, about 20 minutes between app and entree, but nothing crazy. Service: 5 out of 5 -Food My entire meal consisted of Italian restaurant staples. Fried calamari, a salad with oil and vinegar, and shrimp marinara with linguine. The fried calamari was fantastic. It was hot, crispy, crunchy, but not rubbery in the slightest. It came served over a bed of baby green spinach, with two lemon wedges and a cup of marinara sauce. Fresh fresh fresh is all I can say here. Not only was the baby spinach a nice touch to lighten up the fried food, it was very fresh and crisp. Slightly wilted by the calamari, it was a nice addition. I could also tell that the sauce was homemade, and fresh. It had chunks of tomato in it, and was filled with basil. Yummy. The only thing I can say bad about it is that it's on the menu as an appetizer. The portion was HUGE, easily an appetizer for 3 people or an entree for 1. After cleaning the plate, I was stuffed, but I had only just began. Price; $9 5 out of 5 Moving on to the salad, it consisted of a variety of mixed greens, with katamala olives, two tomato wedges, and red peppers. A few pieces of the salad were wilted, and I found that there was too much of the pepper for my liking. Tomato wedges weren't very good, but they're not exactly in season right now so I can write it off. Balsamic and oil were standard issue. Standard issue salad with standard issue taste. Price; Comes with entree 3 out of 5 Entree time! Now by this point, wow, I was stuffed, so much calamari and a salad, I was bursting at the seams. My entree (shrimp marinara with linguine) was an equally large portion size, a mountain of pasta, shrimp, garlic and marinara sauce. Even though I was so full, I dove in. The pasta was cooked slightly past al dente. The sauce was flavorful, and you could tell it was fresh. Loaded with basil and hunks of sliced garlic, just the way I like it. The shrimp were served tail on, and were overall ok. I asked the waitress if they had been breaded because there seemed so be an odd moist coating around parts of the shrimp. I was told that they weren't but, I feel that it probably was pre-breaded, then sauteed with sauce so the beading sort of disappeared. They were of medium size, and were fresh enough. Getting the tails off was a bit of a hassle, but I can appreciate the flavor it lends to the dish. I only ate about 25%, the rest I had boxed as I just couldn't eat any more because I was so full. Price; $11 4 out of 5 Great new restaurant, if it continues to be as it was when I went, I will be back. But maybe not so big portions? Haha, overall, 4 out of 5 for me.

Owner seated the group before us...came back, looked at me, I said hello and he walked away. We were seated by someone else next to a table with a very LOUD man who was complaining that they were waiting too long with no food and wound up canceling his meal because he was annoyed. Our garlic bread arrived but was literally two pieces of bread with uncooked butter and chopped garlic, untoasted. Odd. We figured we better ration our two pieces of bread. Salad came with my meal...small with not so good Italian dressing. Owner seeming frazzled kept coming in and out of dining room. Servers were running around stressed...we felt bad asking for anything. Pasta dish was just ok. Husbands salad with grilled chicken had more croutons than chicken and his dressing wasn't so good either. I really wanted to like this place since I live so close but we were very disappointed with the whole experience.

Let me say I have dined at a lot of Italian restaurants in my time .After my first visit this ranks right up there with one of my favorites Amore ristorante .lets start with the the salad ,very good with vinegar and oil, bread is made in house also very good ,I went with my old stand by veal parm over linguini , the veal was very good and tender not over cooked or burned ,sauce was very good. there was no way I was going to finish this entree ,very generous portions !!!!!! food was very hot when delivered to our table , if its cold its going back !!!!! The wife ordered up the pasta primaveria with chicken ,unbelievable portion !! service is good and fairly fast ,take you'r time enjoy you'r meal with a bottle of you'r favorite wine ,you won't be disappointed. A special note to Tom and his partners ,your on the right track keep it going . Your father Constantino would be proud

Visited here several times. Each time there was a total lack in service which is pretty sad since the food is good. The waitress served hot plates over my son's head. Before I could tell her not to do that, she nearly tipped the high chair into the table causing her to spill sauce on him. Luckily, my hand jetted out in time to protect him. In return, I just got an "Oops, I'll get extra napkins." Oh and never mind the knife she dropped on my daughters arm or lipstick stains on most of the glassware. Then a small Stromboli takes 30 minutes to come out when everyone else's full dinners were on the table and 1/2 eaten already? At my request for the owner, which I was told wasn't there, nor a manager, we left her without a tip. That was only on our last visit there.

The best Italian meal I have ever had. I got the veal Constantino and it was out of this world! I am in sales and I eat out for lunch just about every weekday. I was pleasantly surprised with my meal. Will come back again and again! The only downside is I live 1 hour away and won't be able to get here nearly enough. Simply awesome!!!

Enjoyed our Father's Day dinner! Food was excellent! Service was good! Looking forward to going back again

I can't remember a better Italian restaurant I've been to lately. Their pizza, hoagies and cheese steaks are good not great, however, everything else is great! I usually get the Chicken Parm or Seafood Pasta. Both of these are top notch. The apps are also great, you need to get the mozzarella rustica. The service can be kind of slow for groups larger than 10 but its worth the wait.
(5)Louis V.
Delicious Italian food delivered in a comfortable, family oriented environment with friendly service. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients in every bite. I particularly enjoyed meeting the owners. There is a clear passion for quality Italian food in this place! And the Chicken Sorrentino dish is outstanding... as well as the Limoncello Cake!

The food is amazing.. The calamari it's to die for.. There is 2 different ones the balsamic is soooo good.. It's a family own and they are so nice.. Family own restaurants always good from my experience.. The garlic bread so fresh and yumma.. The food took a while but they were busy.. However everything fresh and made in order so you know it's fresh from the taste of it.. Keep up the good work guys...

Went for lunch today. Cheesesteak came with tomato sauce and fried onions without ours asking. Would have preferred knowing in advance as we wanted neither. Pizza was just okay. Sauce was tasteless and cheese was skimpy. Almost takes like frozen. Very friendly staff. Sorry, but we won't be back.
