Mary's Family Restaurant is a regular stop for us, especially for breakfast. They have a variety of foods on menu, weekend breakfast specials, fast friendly service and quality, homemade food. The location is convenient on Route 309 in Drums, just off Route 80. It is not in a "scary location" as reported by an earlier reviewer, and we have NEVER had a rude waitress and we've been there dozens of times. I highly recommend this diner-like restaurant. You won't be disappointed (or scared ;)

Restaurant choices are far and few between in the area so it sometimes makes it easier to overlook the mediocre food and slow service for the sake of a close and convenient lunch. If you are looking for so so food, don't care about service, and have a lot of time to kill, go for it. Otherwise, spare yourself the wait and the rude waitress and look elsewhere.

Ok it's past a mechanics garage and is kinda scary outside, but man is everything homemade and delicious. For breakfast had southwestern omlette and blueberry hotcakes. Soooo good! Partner had chicken fried steak which was amazing. Was leaving the area after a vacation disappointed in the area's food. This place saved the whole vacation from culinary let down.

Hard to find anything to eat off i80 west but Mary 's saved the day. Simple and good and breakfast all day. Omelette with home fries and English muffin with lashings of butter. They even allowed us to park up next to the restaurant to find shade for our dog where there was no parking. Thank you for setting us up for the day.

My husband and I really wanted breakfast or brunch. They do not serve breakfast all day. The service was nice and friendly. My husband and I enjoyed the burger but that's about it.

Our family stopped there for lunch the other day. Only one other table was occupied. Our meal came fast and was good home-cookin'! We'll be sure to stop by again if we're even in that vicinity.

Waitresses were very friendly, but we left before our food even got out. We waited 40 minutes for 2 omelets.... And it still wasn't out. If you are on the road looking for a quick stop this is not the place.

hands down, THE BEST sausage gravy and biscuits I've ever had. I stayed around this area for almost a year before I realized this place was here. It's set off from the road behind a truck repair shop, and if you blink you'll miss it. We stopped in on a lark one morning, and now I have a new favorite breakfast place. The staff is friendly, the food tastes made from scratch, and the prices are great. You'll never leave hungry, but you'll definitely be back!
