Great Sunday specials for the hoagies. However, the rest of the week is a bit of a chance.

Fabulous chz steak hoagie and pizza fries, and that's coming from a Philly girl! You guys are awesome! Super fast delivery!

Cheesesteak is well worth it and if you are a hot sauce lover, go with the stuffalo: chopped chicken and steak with hot sauce on a hoagie. Add bacon if you are feeling adventurous. The #1 cheesesteak special is my favorite and comes with fries and a drink for $7.50. Cheapest in town by far, and the quality is among the best. Sometimes service can be rough, but that has rarely happened to me.

Returned to the local steak place to try the 4.00 italian hoagie special which is available in the fall on Sundays. The four dollar sandwich is a generous size (11 inches). Their bread was fresh and crusty. The ingredients pretty basic, and accompanied by lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar. Its a pretty basic sandwich but definitely a good value. The service was slow as they were very busy (answering phones and ignoring people who were standing in line.. ) . Their drink selection is limited. They get pluses for also having salads, as well as smaller versions of their sandwiches. A good member of the Doylestown community.

Went back to this place again after since 2 years ago with a bad experience. Decided to go back as my 2 sons tell me that their friends love to eat at this place. Ordered 2 Jumbo cheesesteaks and I explained to the clerk (who looks like she broke out of a jail). She doesn't understand me what I wanted exactly ( first jumbo with onions and extra cheese and the second jumbo, half with no onions and extra cheese). Still confused, so I drew a picture to explain what I want on the second. Finally got it. However the preparer didn't get it. Gave me without extra cheese that I paid $2 more for each Jumbo. So they fixed it and charged me $34.91. I gave them $5 coupon I located on my iPhone. No problem. The chsk tastes wonderful with the 4 stars, but their tables are dirty and there are shipment cartons all over the place. 1 star on appearance and neatness. Not clean looking place to sit down to eat but good enough for take-out. That's why I'm being fair to improve their rating from 1 star to 3 stars after 2 years later. This place really need a stronger manager to oversee everything to make it attractive as it's best located in the white collar neighborhood of Doylestown. High visibility, yet the owner didn't take advantage of it to improve its standing. I'm sure the owner don't read reviews in Yelp to take advantage of suggestions. I would run it much better due to my retailing background. Will I come back again? Sure for take-outs. When you are in retail business it's like playing the stock market -- need to know what to do!

My two friends, my girlfriend and I stopped by here at 12am on a Saturday. I go up to the counter and I say "hi, can I get a large plain cheesesteak". The guy at the counter rudely says" ugh.. I suppose". He reacted as if I had asked him permission to date his mother. It was ridiculous. The food was okay but the service was horrible.

I usually love going to Steak and Hoagie Factory, but this one was awful. My wife got a cheese steak hoagie, and I had a chicken cheese steak. Both had barely any meat in them. The vegetables in my wife's sandwich made hers look fuller. Mine was basically bread. I will never go here again. Dalessandro's gives you double the meat for the same price.

Food is okay. Workers are not pleasant. Place is dirty. If you keep the front of the place that dirty, I do not want to know what the kitchen looks like.

Decided to leave a review after hearing on the news this morning about the credit card fraud going on at the pizzeria (Bella Pizza II) in Sicklersville NJ because that is exactly what this place tried to pull on me. I paid for my purchase with a credit card and notice the total I had been given ($31.37) did not match the total on the receipt I was asked to sign ($37 even). The cashier starting hemming and hawing some BS about "hitting the wrong number" but I'm familiar enough with how cash registers and credit work to know what was up. I imagine this scam works on a lot of their clientele who are probably too drunk to read the totals on their receipts. Anyway, stay away. Absolute crooks running this place. I contacted my credit card company after the incident, but now I'm wishing I went to the police. Makes me furious that a business would pull this sort of crap on a customer.

Been here a few times when in the neighborhood. A good variety of the basics, cheesesteaks, hoagies, fries, onion rings, etc. Quick service when they're not busy. A plus is they advertize vegan steak & chicken sandwiches. Unfortunately, you have to specify every little thing you want on it, as there's no self-serve for toppings (sweet/hot peppers, pickles, etc). Better than a chain place. Bread used was good.

My hubby had to do a job in Philadelphia and stopped by this place on the way back to NYC. It is WAY better than Pats and Geno'!! I ate the cheesesteak the next day warmed up in the oven and the bread was still soft and chewy and the meat had a good flavor. I got mine with peppers and onions and cheese. While I wish they used the cheese whiz the cheese they did use was nice and melted and not overly salty like the other places. I can't wait for my next Philly trip so I can go back

I went here a few weeks ago, the staff were friendly and gave me a coupon after I ordered a chicken Parmesan sandwich, it was very good. It's too bad that there isn't more room for more tables or nicer decor in this place. I may go back, it was a good sandwich at a good price.

Just OK. Meh is the perfect word to describe the S&HF. Been around a long time though so SOMEBODY must be going there. Years & Years ago it was a meh pizzeria. This location is cursed.

Okay, so the food is greasy and good, but I will say this place is a little rough. Every time I go in there are sketchy looking people hanging out, looking like they are up to no-good. The place is not super clean, but like I said the food is good especially after a night of drinking. This used to be the only place open late-night in town but now there is a small pizza place open after 2am too so I've been choosing to go there over the Steak and Hoagie factory lately.

This place and I have a long history of drunken moments. Mainly because I only come here after a night of drinking in Doylestown, and honestly never any more then that. When I was in high school I was estatic to find out that I didn't need to drive all the way down to warminster anymore to get to this place. The rolls are usually pretty good, and they fill it decently enough with steak. There really isn't much to say about this place, but what I do really makes the stars disappear. I will get to that one option later on. I've had no problems with warminster, but here there seems to be major issues. The cheese steaks are decent. The buns are usually not toasted near enough and are not really Amoroso rolls, which makes Philly famous for its steaks. They fill the hoagie with a decent amount of steak so I have absolutely no complaints there, and if you get a special (the Stuffalo is my Fav and is awesome) steak it is usually pretty good. The one thing I noticed the other day, NONE of the staff EVER put on ANY gloves while handling food. I find this repulsive and almost wanted to say something because that is completely unacceptable. I honestly did not see a single staff member wear gloves, from the person grabbing my hoagie roll, to the other cooking the steaks and fries. NOBODY put on golves. I honestly would have rated this place a 3 or 4, but I am astounded at how none of the staff wear protective gloves to not only protect themselves, but the food they carry around. The place is also run by teenagers, I don't think I've ever seen a single person older then 19 here. Where are the managers? I also went on their website to file a complaint, and there's really no option to do so. And the phone number sends me to the doylestown "corporate office" which is probably just the joint itself. I honestly don't think I'm going to come here again, I've been here many times before and I do believe in multiple visits I don't see people wearing gloves...I'd love for a state health inspector to visit and audit this place because they would do HORRIBLY.

I was in a rush to catch the train and I said I needed something fast not expecting it to be delicious. I just ordered a cheesesteak and it was sooo good and the bread was amazing. I will be going back for sure!

While the cheesesteaks aren't anywhere near the legendary Pat's or other Philly institutions, they're decent enough. Personally, I like them because they aren't overly greasy. The waffle fries are good, too. Service isn't outstanding, but it's a sandwich shop, not a four star restaurant. Worth trying, though.

Although I like this chain (there is a place in Warminster), I don't like this particular location at all. I was in there quite a while ago, and went back only twice, and found nothing had changed much. Things could be different now. I ordered a special which they had a sign up for, yet the obnoxious teen/20something at the counter didn't honor the price. The individual had a real attitutude problem, seemed to hate being there. Why not get a job doing something else somewhere else? I hope that individual is no longer employed there! I was surprised, since the place in Warminster was so well done and the staff so friendly/ efficiennt. I found the people who worked there in Doylestown not very friendly. There didn't seem to be the same amount of steak compared to the place in Warminster, either. When I get a craving for one of their cheesesteaks, I go over to the Warminster location. To its credit, the place was clean, and I saw the staff wash their hands. The bread is good, and a cheesesteak is a nice, affordable treat in a very casual place. This location does offer plenty of seating in a brightly lit area, which is a vast improvement over the Warminster location. The restroom was clean, which is important to me. The place has potential, and I may go back to give it another try.. My recommendation is to hire some older, more experienced people, and kick up the friendly a notch. It is okay to hire inexperienced young folks, just train them better. PS I was told in a culinary class by a visit from the Sanitation Dept. that the washed hand is cleaner than a gloved hand.
