I had lunch last week with friends and the service was soooo slow!! we were there for almost 2 hours which is crazy during lunch time......took forever to get the bill and then to process the bill!!!! It is really noisy as well!! The food was decent but took way to long to order and finally be served!!

We went for Sunday brunch great selections the omelet I had was perfectly done. All the sides were also very plentiful and well cooked. We also had great service.

We like this place. A bit pricier than other places in town for lunch, but they make a buffalo chicken cheese-steak that's the best in the area. Good looking place--- love the huge, concrete bar-top that you could land an airliner on. They've hired some of the Dtown service-industry stalwarts who're known for being good at their jobs. The outside seating is plentiful, and makes for fine al fresco dining if the weather suits. The concept of the beer list on vertical flat-screen TVs is great. They'd earn one more star if their beer selection was being done a bit more thoughtfully. It was when they first opened, but now the 36 taps seem to be filled with a lot of redundant beers--- particularly IPAs, where all dozen or so seem to be of the super-hoppy variety. One also wonders how many tripels one bar needs to sell.

I don't write reviews often, but my experience was a complete 180 from what those other reviews are reporting. My family and I had a great experience for lunch last weekend. It's a fantastic space and clearly a lot of thought and care was put into the renovation. The beer list is awesome, and while the menu isn't all that unique, everything my table had was really tasty. We had an excellent, crispy fish and chips and a bunch of really nice fresh salads. For dessert we shared the bread pudding, which was huge, warm, and delicious. The layout is very well considered, with a quieter, spacious area for tables partitioned from the bar-focused area surrounded by TVs. So folks eating meals don't feel like their eating in a sports bar, and the folks at the bar don't feel like their drinking at a restaurant. All the exposed beams and brick and super high ceilings are really nice. I can't speak to the other reviews, but it sounds like growing pains to me. We had a great time with rock solid food and excellent beer all in a beautiful unique space. And our server couldn't have been nicer and more pleasant. Looking forward to going back.

I know this is a new restaurant and normally I don't write "bad reviews" often. But I did not enjoy my experience here. One positive was the location itself is nice. The indoor restaurant looked cool, the bar looked clean and the outside area, where we sat, was nice. The food was far over priced for the quality and the amount. I got the "jumbo lump crab Mac & cheese " for $17 dollars which wasn't a bad price except the crab was finely shredded and almost non-existent. It looked like it should have been flavorful but it tasted just like milky Kraft macaroni not a sharp cheddar or that it had any real seasoning. My biggest gripe is that I paid $17 for the large because I thought the small would be too small, however the $9.50 small was not much smaller than my large. Also there were no salads or bread given and it took awhile for our food to come. Our waitress was friendly but seldom stopped by our table. The waitress of the table next to us visited their table 3 times as often as ours did. Our waitress also offered a soup of the day and then minutes before our meal came out told us they do not have a soup of the day until the winter - even though she told us the flavor for the soup du jour. The appearance is nice but as they say"don't judge a book by its cover"!

Had dinner here with husband and another couple. SLOW service. Beer selection is nice when they don't run out of it (every beer I wanted the keg was empty, and it was early on a Saturday night, so I'm assuming by end of night they run out of alcohol entirely???). Food was OK but nothing that I would go back for (my husbands $25 filet was burnt to a crisp). My waiter was like 12 years old and didn't really understand some of the questions we asked him. For the prices they charge, don't think I'll be going back. Plenty of other places in D-town that will get my money.

I went to the Station Tap House 06/15 for a company party. We were able to reserve the diner, meaning that there were extra servers on staff to help take our orders. Other people were allowed to come to the restaurant but our company paid for unlimited drink and food the whole night. We had excellent service and after the first drink many of the bartenders already knew your drink order which was nice. The outdoor seating is a nice bonus when there is a group of thirty people standing around. The bathrooms were clean and not your usual bar bathrooms which tend to be the last thing to get cleaned. As far as food... it was average. The best food I actually had was the mozzarella sticks, they were actually triangles and DELICIOUS. I woke up the next more thinking about them. However they had very little items on the menu that were vegetarian which was rather disappointing. When I asked my other coworkers what they thought about the food no one was really overly impressed with what they had eaten. There weren't really any big complaints on what they had but they no one had anything over the top to say about the food. When it comes to drinks this is the place to go. They have a large beer option and many different hard ciders to choose from. If beer isn't your thing they also have a full bar. If I were to go back with my friends I would go to this restaurant to grab a beer and some appetizers. It was a nice place to hang out and relax with a great environment.

I had such high hopes for the new format, but if you plan to have an edible meal, please do not visit our newest restaurant Station Tap House (formally the freight house). My wife and I ad hoc'ed a visit there last night for a meal with our daughter( 3 yrs old and an adventurous eater). We happened to run into a couple friends out on date night and decided to dine together. After reviewing the great tap list, my expectation was that the food menu would be of the same elevated quality as the beer being served. Without question, they are not even in the same stratosphere. While having offerings from renowned brewers such as Russian River, Ballast Point, Bell's and Founders, their food selections seemed frozen/defrosted/microwaved, inconsistent, in a word awful! We ordered 7 dishes in total and not one of them was acceptable. Monte Cristo egg rolls = frozen deep fried greasy pig fat, oh and here is some maple syrup. Mussels marinara = canned tomato with giant frozen tough/chewy chunks of rubber shoe souls, and some toasted italian bread. Chicken cheese steak = chicken steak ums that have sat in a hotel pan for a couple hours, scooped into a roll and sent on its way. A brisket sandwich that was like eating a dried out salty leather jacket inside of a crusty ciobatta roll. And kids mac and cheese, how could that be effed up you ask? Oh just add ???? so that it is spicy enough that my daughter won't touch it. The service was poor, not entirely her fault considering the entire dining room seemed to be in disarray. And the manager refunded part of our check, which still included the spicy mac and cheese, my daughter's follow up awful chicken fingers, the mussels dish minus the 3-4 we actually chocked down, and the brisket that was literally missing one bite. If you are looking for over priced high end beer, then by all means this place will suit you. If you are looking for a full belly then you're probably better off re heating yesterday's pizza, more enjoyable for me at least!

Went to STH Saturday and had a blast! Place is gorgeous. The food oh the food is outstanding. To my fellow beer drinkers its heaven. The selection of beer is huge. Our server was a sweetheart. What a great place where Center city meets bucks county with the atmosphere. Oh ladies gotta check out bathroom - beautiful and clean - a must for me. Booked my sons communion luncheon while I was there. Can't wait to go back.

The Station Tap house is a welcome addition to the dining and nightlife scene in Doylestown. Taking over the Freight House location at the R5 Station, the owners of the Jamison Pour House and Wycombe Publick House have brought a casual menu with a very good beer program to the Borough. Beer wise they have 36 taps, very few of the macro lagers, and a knowledgeable bartending staff that can help you select the right beer. Furthermore, their menu even suggests styles that might pair with the food. The menu reads like a best of the other two establishments they own. I tried two of the dishes on the other menus, buffalo shrimp and crab macaroni and cheese. The former was six shrimp served tail off tossed in buffalo sauce, and a side of blue cheese dressing. Relative to the version at the Wycombe it was pretty tame. The crab mac was also a bit disappointing as it lacked crab flavor, and the cheese sauce was a bit thin. The sauce was also a neon orange resembling Kraft. I am sure these are just early days for the kitchen, and things will settle down. All in all we are lucky to have another good place to dine in Doylestown.

Love the atmosphere here! They have a great drink selection and awesome food menu. The crab mac 'n' cheese was delicious. I also lovvvvved the Reuben egg rolls. We came for lunch, but it seems like a fun Friday night spot. I'd definitely recommend this place and will be coming back!

Three stars are for the beer list and the proximity to my home. If I were ranking on the wings I had, I would have to go 1 star. The food seems like frozen TGI Friday's or Ruby Tuesday. Think breaded Swanson Hungry Man frozen drum sticks flash fried and dipped in a generic hot sauce.

So the Freight House is reincarnated and here we have the Station Tap House as it's replacement. What exactly is the Tap House? Well, to my eyes, it is a sports bar similar to the likes of Buffalo Wild Wings, Miller's Ale House or Chickie and Pete's, only it's privately owned and not a chain. The first thing I noticed was the level of noise when I walked in. A wall of noise actually. Not that it's a bad thing for a bar to be noisy, it's part of the ambiance, however that noise level doesn't change much once you enter the dining room in the back. Conversations were challenging if the person wasn't directly in front of you or next to you. There are ample amounts of televisions, my only gripe would be to maybe turn some of them to face the dining area just so those over there can get a quick peek at one of the various sporting events being broadcasted. If the intent is to entirely isolate the dining area from the sports bar area, then I get that too. The food was good, nothing that made me go bonkers, but it's good. If your into beer, then there is a encyclopedia of beers to choose from. Looks like The Mesquito Grille may have met its match when it comes to beer selections. I think come summer time, this place will be hopping when they open up the back deck area. I hope they still have shuffleboard!
