Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. I've never seen a by-the-slice variety like they have at Pina's III! The various pies are three deep, everything from NYC worthy plain to pizza with pasta on top: Eggplant parm, two-crust stuffed, buffalo chicken, white, white w/broccoli, broccoli and chicken, meats, and on, and on... It was so good, we decided to get our pizza night pizza here. OK, so the cost was a shocker, 3 large, 1 each plain, buffalo chicken, white broccoli set us back $50+. But these pies were HUGE, just huge. And delicious. My half-Italian hubby is pizza picky, and usually makes his own close to perfect pizzas for us. He loved Pina's - thin, crispy crust, great cheese and generous toppings. And NOT greasy! You know how you have to blot some 'za, or hold it up to let the grease ruuuuuun off before you can eat it? Not these pies, or any slice I've had before. They threw in a bag of garlic knots, too. Only drawback was the owner/boss was berating some poor employee. I get it - she did wrong, you needed to make sure it didn't happen again. But he started it when I ordered the pies, was STILL doing it when I picked up the pies, and more still when she was trying to ring up my pies. It was obvious it was the one issue, the same issue from pickup to check out. Once was understandable. Listening to it for the upteenth time while my order was sitting there waiting, and waiting and waiting because she was trying to check out several waiting customers and listen to her boss? Frustrating for customers, seriously unpleasant to see. Hope it's a one-time thing.

I now know the downside of having a pizza parlor make pies for display purposes. If you are unfortunate enough to come in for a late pizza slice lunch, you end up eating old pizza from the display, rather than anything remotely fresh. I learned this lesson the hard way a few days ago, when I stopped in after 2:30 for a small repast to tide me over until dinner. My Tomato Pie was sauce without cheese (In my world it is sauce over cheese). It was okay, but basically too acidic from sitting around for many hours. Too, the plain slice while large, had an overworked crust that proved tough and chewy rather than crisp as a cracker. Time had not been kind to it. I liked the gentleman who prepared my slices in the oven and brought them to the table, and it was not his responsibility to make a new pie for me. Still, there outta be a rule that says display pizzas are dumped after being out in the open for more than 2 or 3 hours, so they are not reheated beyond human tolerances.

This place is kind of tucked away. I only got here because a coworker and I were working in the shopping center yesterday. I wasn't going to get anything until I saw the pizza slice selection. I was sold. I grabbed a slice of the chicken broccoli alfredo, and it was yummy. I like my crust with a little crunch to it, so that was good for me! Staff was friendly and quick. If I ever find myself in that immediate area again, I'll stop in.

If you are looking for variety of topics on a pizza, you definitely found the right place. Very friendly staff. Wife and i tried a few different slices. Some slices felt a bit greasy and as if they were laying around on the counter for some time. The garlic knots were just ok, for wife and myself, they lacked flavor. I would have definitely liked more garlic flavor, the tomato dipping sauce was very good. I will definitely be back for their Brooklyn and plain pizza, this definitely took me back to pizza on sound st. I also think have few had a fresher slice, i would have definitely given this place more stars..

Great pizza! Buffalo Chicken Pizza is different than most, very good! Very nice guys working there as well! I drove away with the pizza on my car (bad day)- and came back for another one and they were kind enough to not charge me again! Great pizza, fast, and great service!

Crappy, burnt pizza. OH And the counter girl was disgustingly rude. My friend asked what fountain sodas they had and she pointed to the stickers on the wall with her pen. When my friend didn't see them she gave a dirty look and pointed again. How about you TELL her what you have to drink?

Great Assortment of Pizzas! Panini's are fantastic. Love their soups. Always treated with a smile and hello.

Pina's is great. The ranch chicken bacon pizza is unbelievable. Always greeted by a friendly face in there. Clean establishment and fair prices. I definitely recommend the garlic knots.

Lousy Pizza.. Chewy... Sandwiches yuck! terrible rolls... and to boot, rude staff

Best regular pizza joint in town. Pizzas great, and so are their cheese fries, cheesesteaks, and garlic knots. I highly recommend trying the Fettuccine Alfredo slice. It's Pasta on a Pizza, and it's amazing!

Pizza is really solid. For the custom slices, one is all you'll need (they're filling) unless you're really hungry. I haven't had anything but the pizza here, so can't speak. Pizza has a nice, crispy crust and the toppings are tasty. This is my "local" place so i usually go here by default, but we've been happy so far. The help is a little pushy and ornery for my taste - that could be a little better, but solid overall..

I love the pizza here, but NEVER order slices unless you're prepared to monitor how long they've been sitting in the oven. My last 5 visits here have all resulted in my pizza being burnt to a crisp... And that tastes disgusting.

This place is great! Ive had their panini and it was crispy and very filling. Could even feed 2 or 3 people! Didn't care for the chips though because they were soaked in grease. The service was great, the ambiance relaxing and it's not a hassle. Definitely coming back!!!

I can always find something. Fantastic slice selection. Punch cards for pies

family run jaun a lot of choices in the pizza realm... ive been here a few times and never disappointed. tip the blonde server girl directly and she gets to keep it - otherwise, they split it with the owners and cooks...just sayin'

Pinas is my go to pizza place because its always delicious. The staple plain and pepperoni are delicious but some of my favorite specialty pies are the Philly cheese steak pizza and the Brooklyn pie...mmmmmmmm. I especially love the variety of slices they have. The service is good and I love the atmosphere. Give it a try.

A family run Pizza shop. Fast and friendly, special orders never an issue. Eat I'm or take out. Better for slices and " subs", but the spaghetti and "parm dishes" are also good. Very good dough & bread. An above average experience.

If you don't want to head into town to alessio this is the next best thing. I love the guys that work there. It's been the same OG Guatemalan pizza pimp for the last 20 years even through the ownership changes.

I am not a big pizza eater, but I lknow Pina's stuff is fresh and good. Try to order a whole pie and eat it there for the freshest and best atsting pie. Sometimes the slices on the counter get a little old and dried out. My 3 year old loves it here - and I'll usually run next door to saladworks and get something for myself. The staff at Pina's has been very gracious to us.

Absolutely terrible, the food was greasy beyond belief, and my wife ordered pierogis, and the packet of sour cream she was given was expired by 2 months!! Not even an apology...i'll never go there again!!

If you're in the mood for freshly made NY style pizza, whether Napolitan or Sicilian style, Pina's is the place in Doylestown. They also have good sandwiches, buffalo wings and mild "crispy" wings. Unfortunately I can't say the same about their pasta dishes. Most of the time the pasta appears to have been precooked and thawed and the sauces don't have the flavor you expect. Too "out of the can" for my taste.

Good standard pizza - fresh crust, and ingredients. A family favorite becuase of the always wide selection of Slice Pizza, so everyone gets what they want.

The pizza has always been very good anytime I had it. But, to get more stars from me, the service has to be good, too. Very good pie, not nice service. It ranged from brusque to mildly rude, to downright insulting. On 2 ocassions, after paying for my order I held out my hand for the change and the guy behind the counter ignored this and put the change on the counter. He knew what he did. What better way to say F*%k you to a person. To be fair, this was a while ago, maybe that person is gone, maybe things have changed, but I have not bothered to venture in to find out. Other times, just odd, suspicious, rude behavior. WTF? I'm the customer, the one with the money, the one who pays the bills, remember? To be fair, I have gone back here 3 more times. The pizza crust had a floury, uncooked taste. It wasn't toasted enough on the back. It should have been hotter as well. Same brusque service, however. I won't be back, ever.

Cheesesteaks are very good. No problems with special orders, garlic knots are addicting. Antipasta full of goodies
