Service is much improved. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and served quickly. Utensils, plates and glasses were clean. Coffee was a bit weak, but that's a personal preference. Overall very nice.

I like the potato pancakes. My boyfriend likes a few of the egg/omelette dishes. I also like the cheesburger. Service is ok, some waitresses are better than others. Good desserts. I also like that they send me coupons.

I suppose Perkins as a chain epitomizes three star middle of the road "safe" dining, that while never being inedible also has flavor quality & originality that is one step over senior living cafeteria food. If you're not doing anytime breakfast then you need to be in the mood for some type of heavy meatloaf type item, greasy frozen burger, pasta or something buttered/fried hard. All food was average. Nothing quite done right yet nothing done too far off of center to warrant complaining at the time. Grilled cheese that was too burnt, a cheeseburger that bordered on needing to bring out Clara Peller's infamous "Where's the Beef!" line, and a Country Club Melt with soft/white half cooked bacon and greasy sourdough bread rounded out the experience. The service was the one bright spot as "A" was as sweet as a piece of.....well Perkins Banana Cream Pie. She was looking after a lot of tables yet the drinks kept flowing and the food was brought out within an acceptable amount of time. I don't get to Doylestown that often and when I do it's 100% driving thru to somewhere else but if I'm with the children I would probably stop here again as it's quick, safe and easy even if it's also greasy, buttery and quasi-flavorless at the same time.

Just had a horrible experience here. We were taken to our table which was never cleaned. We asked for it to be wiped down and we were told "yeah ill wipe it. what do you want to drink." Didn't stay to eat. Absolutely horrid. If thats how dirty the tables are I do not even want to think about the kitchen. I will never eat there again and I will tell EVERYONE abouy this experience. Ridiculously horrible service. Appalling. Subway it is!

Service and food waxes and wanes depending on the day/server/cook on duty. In general I usually find something to eat here - especially breakfast food - like pancakes and omelettes. My parents like the chicken pot pie here - which is extremely rich, caloric and loaded with chunks of white-meat chicken. Not my fave - but a solid option for a cheap, no-fuss meal. And big pots of decent coffee.

I loooooove their muffins. I wish they would bring back their Reese's muffin...

This Perkins is clean, and looks just like any other Perkins. They've got a big lot since they're smack dab in a shopping center. Haven't tried the bakery here, nor am I aware if they have one, though I would be surprised if they didn't. I've been here once for breakfast, and once for lunch, both times fairly randomly. Their lunch was typical chain fare, but breakfast was as good as an IHOP. Like everyone else probably wrote, Perkins is only really good for a morning meal, and it won't break the bank.

Very inconsistent. They have good days and bad, good years and bad. Unfortunately, they've just gotten incredibly pricey; they seem to raise everything on the breakfast menu by a dollar every year. It's to a point where you can really do better for the money. The cooking can vary a lot... one day, the onions on your omelette come out raw; another they're well done. One day the bacon is crispy; another it isn't.

After they shut down the Perkins in Montgomerville, my mother and I searched high and low to find another location. The Doylestown one does just fine and I find that the food for the money is quite good. I would never go there for anything else other than breakfast food - the eggs benedict is very tasty (I get it without the meat) along with fabulous mammoth muffins (ask for it grilled). I have to say that despite eating at a lot of places that have great pancakes, I haven't found hot cakes nearly as good as Perkins. The service is adequate, nothing fancy and this location is very clean. Best chain restaurant breakfast value.
