a weeknight dinner date with a friend of mine brought us to hot spot. i haven't been here since high school. diner feel with diner portions and hospitality. i can't attest for the rest of the menu, but the greek menu is great. i got the gyro platter, which comes with the gyro, greek salad, fries, and a feta/artichoke mix wrapped in a grape leaf. i forget what it's actually called. the yogurt sauce is awesome! reasonably priced as well.

A very friendly, casual place with solid food. Their chicken souvlaki is awesome-tender and succulent and perfectly seasoned. There are a couple platters that feature it and my husband and I really haven't tried other items, though I look forward to trying the Greek specialties. It does feel like a diner, but for a couple with a baby that's a good thing. The servers actually acted happy to see a baby-not all that common.

Authentic food. Great price! Family run and it shows. They really care about your experience and making sure the food is good. The food always is the same level of quality, which is why we always go back!

I'm a sales rep so I spend a lot of time dealing various restaurants ordering food for lunch meetings. The Hot Spot is always a standout. They work with you to find the right order to accommodate both your budget and client. The food is always there on time and they give you plenty of bang for your buck. Plus, adding in a few of their Greek specialties in addition to an average catered lunch is such a nice treat for my clients as well, who often are stuck eating the same thing day after day. I would recommend them for any catered occasion. Today they helped me out of a schedule jam with a last minute order with the same great level of service they always do. I will be using them anytime my business brings me to Doylestown.

Since moving to area in 2006, we stop here several times a month. Excellent gyros and pizza steak hoagies. We have never been disappointed by food, hostess, or severs/ service. We recommend.

Good, tastes-like-home food, friendly service, decent prices. The woman in charge (I'm guessing the owner?) makes you feel like family. We'll be back!

Great gyros, pricing is OK and the atmosphere is reminiscent of 1980's pizza joint. Unfortunately closed on Sundays.

Just a quick update to say that we've already ordered again from Hot Spot Restaurant and found out that they do have online ordering through GrubHub. Yay!

I grew up around greek food and every once in a while I have a really big craving for grape leaves, spanikopita or baklava. WOW, I'm so glad Hot Spot is here for those cravings. I got the Greek Sampler and the side salad even came with a stuffed grape leaf. It was like finding a little piece of gold. This place is authentic as it is run by a greek family (why they are closed Sundays). I'm looking forward to my next Greek Sampler- I just don't know how long I can hold out. BTW the Baklava was perfect. Thank you, Hot Spot, for being here.

I love Hot Spot. Good Greek food. I like the Greek salad. Good cheesesteaks. Friendly service. I did have a roast beef club once and the roast beef was horribly tough and chewy. Other than that the food is good and dinner for two will cost around $20-25.

I come here for the spanikopita (spinach pie). I love my greek food.

The gyro platter is well worth the 9.75, it's a ton of food. Average sandwiches, above-average steaks, mediocre pasta. Very polite and friendly staff, and the fact that they deliver is a huge plus. They close at 9, though... even so, better than a lot of other options.

Very good. Great place for delivery. Every time order correct and fresh. Never got a bad meal, something on their menu for all from pizza to burgers pastas and salads

To start off, the #1 reason I'll continue to be a patron of Hot Spot is because they deliver...that's a rarity in Doylestown! I have a tendency to go back to old faithful, the gyro but I've also enjoyed a good Greek salad salad or two on occasion. I probably wouldn't waste a night out to go to Hot Spot (located in a small strip mall), but I'll certainly consider it for convenient delivery or if I'm in the mood for some Greek food.
