I was skeptical at first because I thought it was just water ice, but they have lots of other options: soft serve (reg. and non-fat), blizzards, gelati's, root beer floats, milkshakes and more! They also have a little deck area where you can sit and eat, which is nice on a summer night.

My favorite water ice. Half lemon, half blackberry. Yum!

I commute from Philly to Doylestown everyday for work, and the fact that this is on the way back to the train station, makes it the perfect treat at the end of the day. They have a variety of flavors of water ice, but my favorite thing about this place is the soft serve. I grew up eating soft serve chocolate ice cream, and once I moved to Philly for college, I couldn't find it anywhere in the city (please, if you know where I can find some, let me know)!! Here, you can get a HUGE amount of soft serve for $2.50. When it comes to chocolate soft serve ice cream: Doylestown-1, Philly-0.

Love, Love, Love Annie's....black raspberry the best! My son doesn't like water ice, but he loves Basset Blast

Well I'm 27 years old and have been going to Annie's for the best ice cream in the east coast. Unfortunately I just went there to get low fat ice cream and the children behind the counter said they didn't have low fat. It's a shame bc I only would eat Annie's for 20 years.

My (nearly) 9 year old LOVES Annie's - even more than Rita's. Why? You can get Jimmies (Sprinkles) on your water ice. And they have the "pink one" (Is that Bubblegum or Cotton Candy) and the "blue" one (Blue Raspberry) and they have soft serve in cups or cones (just OK - I have had better frozen custards - but this is soft serve ice cream - not custard.). Friendly young teens (mostly gals) working the counter and a line in the summertime. Gravel parking lot and a big wooden porch to eat on. If you are a kid? This is part of a great summer experience. Bring some small bills - do them a favor.

This is a fun place to get a frozen treat! I like the Bassett Blast and the Gelati. The ice cream and water ice is fresh and I love the various flavors that they have. Last night I tried a delicious coconut cream water ice with vanilla and chocolate twist ice cream. It was yummy! For only $4, I had a large serving which must have been close to 16 oz. It's a great way to cool off in the heat!

I wouldn't have known about this place but for a co-worker of mine. This is just a minute walk from the Doylestown train station, & has a good variety of flavors of ice cream, gelatto, & water ice. I tried both the gellato & ice cream as a milkshake. Though they're a bit pricey ($4.75), they're served in roughly 16-20 oz containers so I guess they're not really too bad. The flavor was pretty good, they tasted fresh, with no icicles, or off-flavors. Definitely coming back here before the summers' out!

Annie's is a great local treat. She's been around as long as I can remember, and offer a wide array of italian ice flavors, each very savory. I can't believe I'm first to review. I know it has a big following among the Rte 611 area residents.

Perfect place for summertime. Mango and vanilla gelato is my favorite. There's a reason this place has been a long-time favorite in town!

Annie's is my favorite spot for a summer treat! With different homemade waterice flavors every day, friendly service, and low prices it can't be beat!
