Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Ordered takeout from the 322 location. We got the Mediterranean Spinach Salad and a Pepperoni/Mushroom Pizza. Overall the food was decent and we'll be back, especially because the location is so close to us. The chicken on the salad was freshly grilled and tasty, and there was a good amount of it and other toppings. However, there was no spinach, only romaine. Still a tasty salad, but not exactly what we ordered given that Spinach is in the name of it! The pizza was also good but I was disappointed to see canned mushrooms. We liked the crust and sauce though, so in the future we'll just not get mushrooms. Overall good food, great location, and a nice alternative to the pizza chains. We might try the pastas next time.

Ordered takeout from new location. My family of 6 all shared the Sicilian plain pizza for a wonderful price of $10.95...Pizza had a even mix of sauce and cheese and the crust was not overly thick. Staff was very friendly and sociable. As a local this will now be my go to pizza place!

Pizza is pretty common around the downingtown area but sabatinos did a great job the first time we came. I bought a white pizza with broccoli. It had a nice thin crust. The cheese had a good consistency and the broccoli was cut and distributed evenly over the pizza. This place is in our top 2 or 3 for the area.

Decent pizza. So so hoagie--by the way a to go hoagie does not get packaged into a freaking Styrofoam box, it gets wrapped in white butcher paper secured with masking tape--you can keep the pasta salad. Mediocre soda selection--how about some Pennsylvania dutch birch beer? Why no tastykakes? Come on should be one stop shopping.

Love the place on the 322, I have not tried the one on boot. The service is always fast and a great value for the money.

My new favorite place. They offer an extra large pizza with 16 slices and it's sooooo good! Reminds me of the boardwalk pizzas, but tastes better. Stromboli is also super large and delicious. Fast delivery. Have to try the sandwiches next. So glad this place opened.

It's really ashame that our last experience with this place was a bad one, because their food was always pretty good. We ordered, like we have in the past, the buffalo bruschetta. Normally we receive two large generous portions of both bruschetta and mozzarella. (We get them both on the side, otherwise the bread gets soggy) this time however, we got the regular generous size of bruschetta and a SMALL container of mozzarella. The reason we get the buffalo bruschetta is the mozzarella. Which is also the reason we pay more! If we wanted just the bruschetta part we would get the cheaper, regular order of bruschetta. I called after we received our delivery order and spoke to a nice girl. This review has no reflection on her, as she had to speak to someone else about a "refund" for the pathetic amount of mozzarella. After being on hold for a good amount of time she came back on and told me "they" said they can only give us a $2 credit to our bank card. My husband and I thought that was laughable seeing how our order was not what it should be. In that case at any restaurant with a decent manager/owner or whoever "they" were, we should have rec'd the complete refund of $7.99. Isn't that the way to keep customers coming back? After all our order was basically wrong and we were not pleased. I took the measly $2.00 credit, and decided to say thank you politely and write my review afterwards. Needless to say Sabatinos has lost our business. It's ashame for them... We ordered from there many times since we moved into the area, and if we had rec'd full compensation or EVEN AN OFFER to deliver a new order we would have been satisfied and this review would have never appeared. Oh well, their loss. In the future, Sabatinos manager/owner, don't be so stingy with customers who always order from you and who always tip your delivery drivers fairly. It's in bad taste. Also, they got that second star only because the food was good in the past and the girl who answered was very apologetic and nice.

New joint in town!! Super excited to have. Decent pizza place right around the corner. Crust is done perfectly (no doughy texture) not too thin, not too thick, and the sauce almost tastes homemade. But it's the ratio of sauce to cheese that makes the pizza! I'm from North Jersey and I take my pizza seriously. Lived in Hoboken for several years- the Italian marketplace! Here is Dtown, Sabatino's is a closer second.

Last night, we called Sabatino's at 5:00pm--very last minute--and asked if they could deliver 3 catering trays at 7pm (less than two hours later) to a houseful of family in Downingtown facing a serious health crisis. We are not in the area so we needed to rely on them from afar. The woman who answered the phone understandably said she would have to check to see if they could do that on such short notice; Jose then got on the phone and assured us it would not be a problem. In short, Sabatino's was wonderful! We ordered 1/2 trays of baked ziti, chicken parmigiana and salad. The food was delivered hot, on-time and was delicious. Many places (and maybe Sabatino's does too) require an advance order for catering trays. But they went out of their way to help us and the food and service were perfect. Just want to give them a shout-out for helping us out in a very difficult situation.
