Nice staff, quick service, and decently priced. Been in town working for a month and I can bet 90% of lunches have been here. Normally I burn out on pizza but they are still going strong. And if my kid has a food allergy, it's MY responsibility to ask what is in the food. That part of being a child's PARENT.

I used to frequent this place many Fridays when I lived in town. It's a good place. Like the pizza. Service was always good. They are crowded on Friday.

I rarely give five stars and just NEEDED to for Lione's. Pizza is the best I have had and I love the Monday & Tuesday special for chili and a rice ball! Staff is super friendly and very welcoming! My go to "joint" in Downingtown!

My favorite!! I wish they delivered - my only criticism! I'm obsessed with their pepperoni bites, salads, and stuffed pizza. yum!

Lione's is the best pizza place in Downingtown area hands down. All the food is always amazing and the people are always welcoming and nice. All the food is great there but I highly recommend the Spaghetti pizza or Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak.

I don't get all the raving reviews of this place. It's ok at best. The customer service sucks. It's almost like a buffet where they don't tell u what is actually in everything. We have a child with a raw egg allergy and ordered a slice only to find out an hour later they don't mention an ingredient on the menu stick attached to the pizza under the sneeze guard. When questioned about it they had no response. Apparently it was our fault as parents to question every ingredient instead of reading the description they put out. I know a lot of people love this place for their generous pours of wine and fairly priced food, but when all is totaled up it's like Sbarro with alcohol.

The food is decidedly average, but the price says otherwise. I've eaten here a few times, since I went to school across the street at Pulse. I couldn't really eat there unless I had a decent tip before lunch. Most times, for the money, I'd rather eat at Wawa.

Great Food Great Service ! love how they have everything out on display rather than some menu. The staff is very cool, ask for a sample of something you see, always willing to satisfy customer. Will definitely go again, and again....

Favorite place to get pizza & Stromboli. Not only is their food fabulous but the staff are super friendly. Also nice to get a draft or glass of wine and eat in. And good 6pack selection too.

This is the best pizza in Downingtown. We've also tried the wings which are delicious. The service can be slow on weekends because they get busy but everyone who works there is very nice!

Update: Good food, freshly made. The Pizza is good, but go before they get busy, as the crust quality seems to vary when they are busy, and isn't getting fully spun or cooked. Fast friendly service, with a good selection of brewski's available.

Good pizza and sandwiches, but the best part about this place is their crab bisque!! It's the best I've ever had, unfortunately they never have it when I'm back east visiting. Wish it would be a regular menu item!

So I'm an idiot and walked in without really paying attention to what I was ordering. I ended up with what I thought was going to be a NY style thin crust pizza and instead I got a behemoth of a piece. It was one of their stuffed pizzas and had a lot of the meat on top (sausage and pepperoni), with plenty of cheese oozing out of the middle. Very tasty, but also quite greasy (I blame the meat). I was extremely happy to see beer on tap and ordered a draft of Stella. Definitely a good place to call for pizza!

Best pizza place in downing town it's a bit pricey but sometimes you gotta pay for the good stuff. Awesome place to stop by for a slice, they have tons of options an their stuffed slices are incredible. If your looking for a good Italian boli there is no question this is where you need to go.

We wanted to grab a quick bite before the movie, and Lione's was on the way. I believe this place has operated under a couple of different names, may have been Bravo in the past? Not sure. I got an Italian Stromboli, my son nabbed a chicken parm dinner. split an order of Calamari. With drinks, this totaled $31. Ouch! That would be ok if the food stood up to the pricing, but this was as mediocre as it gets. The Stromboli was loaded down with a big piece of semi-hard mozzarella, complimented by only a few slices of ham, pepperoni, salami. The only thing you could taste on the overcooked calamari was bread and deep fry oil. My son reported that the deep fried chicken parm and calamari essentially tasted the same. They have some imaginative pizza's on display - maybe they do better with them... but doubt I'd give them another shot. Add to that a surly waitress that couldn't wait to drop off the order and run - and, well -- I'd say that you could do better at just about any one of the bazillion pizza/Italian fooderies that dot the phila-suburban landscape. Let sleeping Lione's lie.

Now that Italian Village is an afterthought, Lione's is the best pizza choice west of Rocco's in Exton. And they've got whatever you're having.

This is my local pizza place and its head-and-shoulders above the rest in our area! The owner (Travis) and his two brothers run it and will not serve anything that they wouldn't serve to their own families. Slices and pies both available, in addition to a large menu. I love the baked Italian hoagie and the sausage pizza myself, but the real gem here is the eggplant and ricotta pie, I like to add banana peppers to it! Also have outstanding white pies, many variations available. Family friendly, very clean. Give it a try when in the WC, Exton, Downingtown area, you won't be sorry. Open 7 days, credit cards accepted, take-out beer available.

This place has been consistent and a staple for that quick convenient night for takeout. We were regulars back when they were Bravo, now regulars as Liones. The guys (family, brothers?) are always friendly. I can call an order and have it ready in less than 20-25 minutes. My daughter loves the Italian stromboli, my oldest and my wife regularly go for the manicotti dinner and I range from the cheesesteaks to parm sandwiches. Great pasta salad, chicken caesar I believe. Always consistently good!

My husband always raved about Liones (he works nearby) and he finally took me there last night for a quick dinner. WOW! Tasty food. Fast & friendly service. It's my new favorite pizza place. I enjoyed the italian stromboli and my husband had the steak bacon pizza. AWESOME crust, you can definitely tell it's made fresh daily. We had plenty of pasta salad to take home. A little on the pricey side, but you can tell they really make an effort to create a nice atmosphere and serve great food. We'll definitely be back for more.

The Downingtown Bravo has been around for a while - I've been going there for maybe 10+ years. The "special" thing about Bravos that distinguish them from other pizza joints are the variety. There are always at least a dozen different pies, a half-dozen different rolls, and about another dozen entrees, appetizers and salads available to be heated up (as appropriate) quickly for a fast, hot, tasty meal. My lady and I often pick up a meal, tell them not to heat it up, then chuck it in the fridge for later heating and enjoyment. Favorites: Pesto Pie, Veggie Roll, Stuffed Peppers, Pasta Salad, White Pizza. Lots of options for vegetarians. Easy parking. This older location has a couple of guys working that really give it personality- like a "good ole pizza joint." They publish coupons in local clipper mags, valpak and such.

Lione's is definitely my favorite local pizza/sub shop. Everything we've ever eaten from there is fantastic. They have a very creative lineup of speciality stuffed pizzas, and will even make a delicious upside down pizza though it isn't on the menu. Steaks are juicy and crafted just right. And try the homemade cannolis - really delicious. The other thing I love are the hard working owners who make you feel like your a friend when you go in. I feel like Norm every time I stop by. They also almost always have a coupon in every local coupon magazine and also have a fair selection of beer available. No other pizza places in the area even compare. They may not be the cheapest but no more expensive than the competition, especially the spot about a block down the street that are the self-proclaimed best in Downingtown.

Consistently good food. I work right down the street and they always have good food. Since the remodel things have only gotten better. The pastas are excellent. Even if you are going in for a quick slice of pizza or a meal you won't be disappointed. You can not go wrong and you can go dressed confortably or not.

Never been to Downingtown until we were searching for a Dogfish Head beer for a special occasion. Lione's was the closest place to Wilmington, so went made the trip. We felt funny just buying the beer, so we ordered a few slices. They had us at the first bite of Sicilian Tomato Pie! Now we make the trip at least twice a month (more like 4 really!) It's like taking a Sunday drive with benefits.

Liones is a great staple restaurant that my fiancé introduced me to before we started dating! The owners treat you like family and the foods great too!! (especially the Italian wedding soup). I would definitely recommend!!

The best selection of pizza and sandwiches you can find in the area. The service is great and food is even better. The prices are reasonable considering what you are getting.

This is one of the best place to have pizza. A huge plus is if you are a customer who has gone there for years and always get the same menu items there is a great chance that the people will remember you

The husband and I LOVE Lione's - it's our primary pizza place. I've gotten their special pasta before which was okay but their salad was good with a lot of veggies other than just iceberg lettuce. I really love their spinach calzone and my husband loves their strombolli. Only drawback is they don't deliver so when we can't/don't want to go out and pick up, we don't get from them.
